Hey all. I'm a quiet(don't drink or smoke) 30 year old backpacker who's been living in hostels and share houses for the past 7 years or so and I'm sick of it. I want to live somewhere with a bit of privacy for the remainder of my 3rd year Working Holiday Visa, expiring Feb 2027.

I go to university online back in my home country and do gig work on and off for my income. If I ever need more money to meet a financial goal I just work more hours that week, but I enjoy having some savings as a cushion so I already do that. I'm primarily working at the airport right now, so I'd love to live in any suburb that doesn't have too bad of a commute there after the trains stop running for the night or start running in the morning. Ideally I'd be happy to live anywhere north from Fortitude Valley or south from Northgate, but I'll take whatever I can get.

Frankly as long as it's my own space with a desk or table, a place I can cook and a private bathroom, I'll be happy. I don't drive so I don't need a carpark or anything.
