Charles Sykes

​I’m a 30-year-old Environmental Science student at Macquarie University, balancing my studies with retail work at JB Hi-Fi and Rebel Sport. Originally from Wagga Wagga, I’ve been living in Sydney for a while now and truly value a calm, peaceful home environment. I’m a grounded, reliable person who takes pride in being a consistent and considerate housemate.

​What makes me great to live with

​I’m a "quiet achiever." Between uni assignments and my retail shifts, I’m usually pretty busy, so I’m definitely not a "party house" person. I’m clean, respectful of personal space, and always happy to pull my weight with household chores.
​While my current focus is on environmental science, I hold a Bachelor of Stage and Screen (Acting), so I have a creative side and a deep appreciation for the arts. Outside of that, I’m tech-savvy, a bit of a gamer (PlayStation/Switch), and I enjoy a 5km run or a good craft beer to decompress.

​What I’m looking for

​I’m seeking a chill, mature household with housemates who value their own space but don't mind a friendly chat in the kitchen. Ideally, I’m after a stable living situation where I can focus on my studies and my career, while sharing a space with like-minded people who enjoy a relaxed vibe.
