Hi there! I’m Ines, a 33-year old researcher from Germany. I have been living in Sydney for 1.5 years and am looking for a new place near my workplace which is in Macquarie Park. I am a very clean, tidy and thoughtful person. Ideally, my new place would be a furnished studio. However, depending on the circumstances, I am also happy to share an apartment, preferably with another girl. I am a social person who enjoys spending her free time in nature going for hikes with friends. I also love going for runs in Lane Cove National Park which is another reason why I am looking for a new home in a nearby area.
I work as an Analyst at a management consulting firm in North Sydney. I'm relatively new to Sydney. I enjoy cooking, but definitely not a party every week sort of a guy. I love sports, and do tend to spend at least one day over the weekend out and about. Not a smoker, so hopefully that's not a concern. I'd be happy to provide references from previous housemates, both from Sydney and Melbourne should you need them.
Easy going, Well travelled and love music. I work 5/6 days a week, early riser. I understand the importance of keeping the kitchen, bathroom and communal areas tidy, originally from the U.K. but Aussie resident now, would be great to make new friends and hang out on occasion. I like to play golf, exercise, watch sports or the occasional Netflix docco. Cheers.
Hi :) I'm Madeleine, a 30 year-old Registered Nurse, looking for a place to share with a few easy going & friendly housemates. I'm both house-trained and easy to live with, and like a healthy balance between having a chat with my fellow housemates and respecting eachother's space and privacy. Let me know if the above sounds like what you're after too :) Thanks! Madeleine
Architect, straight and mature (house sharing wise). Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. Looking for room or whole property to rent. In terms of personal articles, I have a 2.4m long table, my own bed, some other furniture and a car. I can speak Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. To give you a better profile of me (my frequency level), I resonate to jazz, soul, lofi hip hop and similar.
We are an international young couple who enjoy the outdoors and a close friend group. We don't smoke, we drink rarely and are more partial to dining in with friends than a night out. We are not the partying kind, although each to their own and we understand and respect that other people have different ways. We do value our privacy. We are looking for either a place of our own, a granny flat in a house inhabited by either a family or young professionals or potentially a flat share situation, with a maximum of one other flatmate (mature, preferably a young professional). The place we are looking for will have easy access (walking distance, maximum 15 min) to either the new Metro train line or the North Shore train line.
Hi, I'm Michael! I'm an advertising analyst Mon-Fri and every second Sun and I'm currently looking for a second job to help supplement my savings and stop Sydney rent from killing me! Basically looking for anywhere in Sydney close to a train station as I work in Macquarie Park and have been dealing with getting there from Revesby so anywhere's better really! I am applying for my Irish citizenship/passport very soon so am hoping to save up as much money as I can and move to England before I turn 25 in May next year (so not looking for 12 month stay) plus a few short cheeky holidays along the way :) (planning Chile atm) I love music and singing in the shower is one of my favourite pastimes so any musicians would be sick as I love a jam but definitely not required. I generally spend my weeknights watching Netflix, playing games and planning holidays as I am pretty dead after work (hopefully this will change living closer!) but enjoy socializing and hanging with my mates on weekends. I’m hoping to find roommates who I can actually consider as mates and have a bit of banter and sing our favourite songs together after a few bevs every now and then but of course I respect everyone’s need for privacy and space and would hope my roommates would be the same as I do love retreating into my room :) Also trying to get back on the weight-loss train so a gym buddy would be sweet too
I'm originally from Hobart, and I have spent the last 4 years in Canberra studying. I'm now working as a grad at Cochlear in Macquarie Park. I like to play badminton, play guitar, hang out with friends and travel. Open to a move in date anytime between now and the 4th of August, and a stay length of 6+ months. Keen to live in a fun house where we cook or do other things together sometimes.
Diarmaid and Simon here., we are looking for a private room to occupy over the next few months. We are both Irish, moved over to get a break from rainy Dublin and to enjoy the Sydney life! We are currently living with my brother in Mosman, it’s a beautiful place but its a little small and its time to spread our wings. We are very chilled and likable guys in our late twenties. Simon is an amazing cook and he always makes too much, so happy to share. Obs very respectful to others, we equally love to eat out and go to the gym/swim after work. My aunt lives in the Blue Mountains, so we try a make a trip out to visit her at least once a month - so, won’t be always in the apartment every weekend. Lastly, we are both working full time 9-5 in the CBD area, so can count on the rent to be paid on time. Lol If we sound like the right fit for you, give us a message.
I pay rent on time and I'm clean and quiet. I'm often out either working or visiting friends and family. I get along well with anyone. On weekends I play bass and operate the AV system for a student community that meets on Broadway.
