Hi all! I am currently looking for a private room in the areas described. I am a PhD at UTS in the field of microbiology, bioinformatics and genomics. I am looking for a nice place to live, preferably in a quiet and green area. I would like to live in an international environment, with respectful and tidy/clean people. I would enjoy feeling at home with my flatmates, exchange a chat and some laughs in the evenings. I would be gone for work every working day approx. 9 to 6, and I dance twice a week. I love animals, I wouldn't mind cats or other small pets in the house :)

Iain, 29, British. Here working as a bricklayer. Just been sponsored by my firm so looking to spend the next couple of years at least out here in Australia.
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional (female) that's moved to Sydney from New Zealand. I work in consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for the past 16 years (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time! :) While I am not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not the 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time as I will be working from home on occasion! I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics, enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV or a book or just music and a chat! I intend to make Sydney my home for the foreseeable future. Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new!
I'm a HR/Training professional working full time in North Ryde and a Pilot for an aerial advertising company on the weekends. I like to keep fit and healthy and I'm always busy! I love good food, wine & beer and am equally happy socialising or doing my own thing. I'm clean, reliable and friendly and like to have similar people around me.
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and rock climbing on weekends.
Hi, I'm Shannon, 24 and originally from Adelaide but have been in Sydney for about 3 months. I'm currently working fulltime in Media and am looking to find somewhere to settle into with some great housemates! I consider myself to be pretty neat and tidy and respectful. I'm looking to find somewhere where I can have my downtime alone when I need it, but equally can come home to people that I can have a laugh and chat with over a meal or some trashy TV (bachelorette anyone?). Overall I'm pretty friendly and easy to get along with, hope to find somewhere that feels like a home and not just a place to live. I've put down 6 months but looking to stay longer if I find the right people :) Just a few prefrences to note for those who are seeking roomates, I ideally am after a place with no more then 3 other flatmates (no couples sorry!), and no inside cats/dogs. Look forward to meeting you!
I'm a 29 year old Polish girl who's come to Sydney to work on a 3-month contract basis for a company located in Chatswood. I'm looking for a room to stay within a reasonably close distance. I'm a rather quiet soul, I like all kinds of jazz-rooted music (soul, blues...), have been to all 5 continents, I enjoy being close to the the nature & embrace human diversity.
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, other times I’m a little loud but mostly I’ll fall in the middle. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something longer term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Hi this is Keith. I need a friendly, clean and comfortable place urgently as I have to leave my current place. I am a professional teacher. I am nice, warm, friendly & genuinely honest & helpful. I respect others privacy & sensitive to their needs. I am clean, organized, social & fun loving. I would like to share a home with people who are respectful, work hard and like to have fun too. Definitely need a caring home environment. I am a good cook too and can share my fabulous meals with you from time to time. If you think you have a suitable place for me and that I am a good fit for you then I would appreciate you contact me. Thank you.
Hi, my name is Jarrod and my partners name is Petra. Im from the NSW south coast and work in Environmental science. Petra is Slovenian and has just arrived in Australia (we have been together for a couple of years now and lived together in London), and looking for work in translating/interpreting (she has lived all over europe and speaks 6 languages). We love travelling and meeting new people, but also like alone time and respect privacy. We are both neat and tidy. Any questions just let us know :)
We are a fun, outgoing couple who enjoy meeting new people and exploring. I work in finance and my girlfriend Saatchi studied film-making and media. Our interests include cooking, bush-walking, fitness and spirituality.
Hi everyone, I'm reliable, quiet as a rule, clean and respectful of others. Up for a laugh, and realise there's a time and place for everything. I'm fit and generally active, non smoker and light/often non drinker. Love animals (if you've got one or some) but don't have any of my own. I'm self employed as a handyman around lane cove area and also studying architecture online, this keeps me busy enough atm. Think that's all! Cheers Michael

I work full-time as a HR Consultant. I tend to work pretty long hours during the week so wont be around much on weekdays. When I'm at home I'm pretty casual - like to watch TV, cook, read. On the weekends I like to go running, bushwalking, out for drinks with friends, etc. I'm easy going, clean, love animals and like living with people who I can be friends with too and share a drink with from time to time.
Hey future flatmates! Originally from Newcastle, travelled all over Aus growing up. I am an easy going person, who enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle. I very much enjoy my own space and downtime and equally love to socialise and meet new people. I am currently looking for a short term (3month) rent/house stay in Sydney, preferably the North Sydney area, but am open to other options. Relocating to Sydney for a work placement for 3 months, beginning Oct 31st. I'm also still studying to finish my Uni degree. Fun for me comes in all different forms, from reading a book or watching a movie to getting outdoors and exploring, discovering new places/people. - Non-smoker - Clean and tidy - Female
Hi, I work full time in the city at a stable job. When im at home I enjoy drinking wine and binge watching terrible tv shows. I have 2 medium sized non shedding inside dogs so I need some kind of backyard even if it's small. They can be a bit rough with other pets so I would prefer not to live with other pets also I am allergic to anything that does shed. Ideally I would prefer to start up a new place with another person who likes dogs. Please let me know if any of this is suitable for you!
I'm Nick , 22 years old, recent grad in environmental Science , with a full-time job starting in North Ryde Sydney. I'm very easy-going and sociable, love sports and 4WDs and am always happy to chill. I'm really clean and tidy and I am looking for a share house or people to rent with in North Sydney. Just ask me question :)
I'm a Sydney girl from birth. I have 4 jobs - my main job is in retail, I also nanny for 2 families and am a singing teacher. I am a pretty decent cook and can't deal with a messy kitchen. I am very respectful of other peoples' belongings and their need for privacy. I love a chat and a cheeky drink or 3. I am very straight forward and open-minded. I strongly believe in the importance of good communication. I won't let you leave the house with food in your teeth. I love to sing and am something of a karaoke queen. I have been known to jump up and join in with bands at pubs and duet with buskers on the street. I also love being in the water. There are few feelings better than the moment when you dive underwater and first come up for air; best way to clear your head. My make up skills are kind of a big deal, but I don't wear it every day. If you want to know anything else, just ask.
Hi I'm Dylan. I'm a university graduate currently working full time at Macquarie University. I'm a non-smoker who plays a lot of sport and enjoys exercising and staying fit. Hey guys, I'm looking for a single room in a nice house or flat. I will be working in Macquarie park starting this week. A bit about myself; I'm 25 years old, been living in Australia for about 4 years now and moved down to Sydney from Brisbane couple of months ago. I'm clean, tidy and respect others privacy. Always up for a chat and a dinner or something. Please contact me if you got what am looking for. I got a car so a parking spot or free street parking will be needed. Cheers,
I'm from Newcastle, law graduate, new job working full time in CBD and just moved to Sydney (currently living with extended family). I'm sociable, easy going, clean and respectful. On weekends I enjoy the outdoors - especially the beach, cafes, bars, seeing friends and new places.
Hello my names Emma and Im a 19 year old student studying computer science at the University of Sydney and looking for somewhere to stay within 30 minutes of the uni (via public transport). Im a friendly, quiet and clean person that doesn't mind keeping to myself or socialising depending on what you prefer! Ive been working as well as studying throughout High School and I have substantial savings. Im looking for somewhere within 30 minutes of my university for at least a year! I love pets and thus don't mind them, my only request is a PRIVATE ROOM and max 250 dollars rent per week (including bills/internet) or less if it doesent include such utilities. In my spare time I go out with friends, watch movies but mostly I'm studying and working. I am not fussed by your nationality or sexuality as long as you are a friendly and honest person :)
Hi all, My name is isabella (bel perferably) I'm 23 and have just started working full time and am looking to reduce my travel time and move a bit closer to work. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a bit of banta every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. Am definitely really keen for a team up. Basically I'm hoping to get a couple of people together and get a share house. Seems to be a good (and well slightly cheaper) option. If your keen then maybe we can have a drink and talk it out! Thanks, bel.
From Adelaide, coming to work on the construction of Sydney Metro as a Project Engineer. During the week will be focused on work, will hit the gym or go to football training but up for a chat with housemates when home. On weekends will like to get out of the house, have a drink and explore what Sydney has to offer. Busy, active and outdoor person who doesn’t mind a bit of banter. Jasmin will be flying in/out every alternate week basing herself in Sydney until she's able to find a fulltime job, and is also looking at doing some study once settled. Jasmin is much the same as me, enjoys a drink and also loves her food, keeping fit and looking forward to having fun in the sun on the weekend in Sydney. Jasmin also likes time to relax and take it easy, particularly on her week off to recharge her batteries while on her current roster.

Hi potential house mates, I'm Danielle- I moved on the weekend from Brisbane to Sydney, relocating for work. I now have a week to find somewhere to move to. No pressure (although the company have a townhouse so if I need to stay longer i'm sure that can be arranged). Full time employment and so easy to live with (in every housemates opinion). I have an English Staffordshire so the place MUST be pet friendly (have had a few messages saying I can move if i don't bring the dog..). I study and work over full time. Busy bee but rather content that way.
I am a very busy but social person. Very ambitious about my goals but still happy to help others out. Austrian 27 years old. Clean, tidy and respectful. I like deep and funny conversation. I love cooking (healthy food), watching movies if I find any spare time. Sport is an essential thing in my life.
Hi There, My names Alex. I am English / Australian but have grown up overseas due to parent's work. I moved to Australia when I was 18, and have not looked back. I am currently working full-time in a marketing department in Macquarie Park. Enjoy my work and keep a pretty standard schedule with it during the week, 8:30 - 5:00. Outside of work, I like to stay active playing soccer and touch / oz tag (used to play rugby but stopped due to injury). I am also trying to get back into mountain biking which used to be a pass time of mine. Socially, I like spending time with mates, hanging out and having a laugh. Looking for a social house where I can meet some new people. Would not consider myself a party person but can get convinced to go out to the clubs and have a dance and a drink every now and again (but would much prefer hanging out at the pub). Generally speaking I look to keep my living space clean and am happy to help out around house (gardening can be strangely therapeutic). I enjoy cooking (especially desserts), and spending time at home watching TV or playing some PS4. Looking to move in somewhere late October. Cheers, Alex
I am a fun outgoing person who loves to do anything from hanging out with friends to sitting at home reading a book or watching netflix... both with wine of course. I currently have my eye on a place in concord and am looking for someone who would want to share it with me. I study interior design and am big on making a place feel like a home. Im looking for someone who i can get a long with and who would ideally become a friend and not just a flatmate. If you would be interested in possibly sharing in concord please message me! :)
Hello! I currently work as a nurse in Hornsby full time which I love, looking for new accomodation as my current living arrangements are changing soon. I am very easy going, reliable and understand the importance of respect, youre home should be your safe place and where roommates are equals. For fun I enjoy simple things mostly-relaxing at home, reading, cooking, catching up with friends, going to the gym/walking. By all means send a msg if I sound like a potential roommate, thank you!
Hey there :) I'm Luke, a 23 year old guy currently living in Windsor, working in carpentry and waiting for my security license to be processed after studying. I'm a pretty busy guy but when I am home I like to become friends and have a good laugh whenever housemates are around. If you aren't mates it's not fun :) Don't have my license at the moment but it's in the goals to get it ASAP. Living close to a train station is preferred. I have a bike and like to keep fit so it doesn't have to be right next to a station :) lol Been at shared houses for a while and I'm looking for a good place to stay for the longer term where everyone understands each other's situations and we all work around each other to make it a good environment :D (at the moment it seems like dream to find the perfect housemates!) I'm pretty easy going and chill about a lot of stuff. I don't care who you are or what you do if you're not an a-hole then I will treat you with respect and do what i can to be there for you! I've lived with a bunch of different people in the past 5-6 years including women so I understand that everybody's different and yeah...if your house is badly unhygienic then don't even bother contacting me !!! I set my date to move as Today, but i honestly don't mind if you have a bit of waiting. I'm not going to rush these things anymore, need to find the right fit for everyone so we can live in harmony :) Hoping to hear from some Awesome people soon so we can get the ball rolling.. Cheers Luke.
I am studying at Macquarie Uni and working part-time. I am looking to rent from the end of December 2016 and I want to find flatmates by that time. I am a friendly and sociable person and I respect other people's privacy too. I am ready too some necessary cleaning too. Non-smoker, no pets. I will be out working or studying most of the time, but while at home I will be happy to chat, watch series have a couple of drinks during the weekend etc. I don't have any special requirements and I'm just looking for flatmates who are friendly and responsible (no crazy parties too often, no drugs or something like that, pay on time etc.).
Hi guys, My name is Isabella and I'm a 20 year old student from the Netherlands. I will be doing my 6 months internship in Sydney at the Lane Cove Council. I study Social and Cultural Development at the University in Utrecht. I really like my studies and I'm excited to come to Australia for my Internship. I'm an adventures person who loves to explore, to meet new people and to have a lot of fun! I also live in a shared appartment in Utrecht with some lovely roomies. I love to hang out with them and my friends and make it cosy at home or to go out with everyone. I'm also really into sports and art. I love dancing, snowboarding, skating, surfing and gymnastics. And I also enjoy painting.
I'm a 20 y.o. part time working student looking for a room! My lease is going up in December and would love to find some great roommates to share a place with. I'm relaxed, outgoing and quite a homebody! I like to keep my space neat and be considerate to those who live around me. Keen to find the right place for me to live whilst I study and work!
Hi I am a considerate quiet flatmate who is very respectful of living space. I have a pet cat who is both indoor and outdoor so you would have to be ok with that. I like movies and beach on weekends. I am at the gym a few nights a week but mostly at home week nights. I am a teacher and am home some school holidays. Clean and tidy and you would hopefully be like minded. I am looking for ground floor with courtyard or similar half house / duplex .
Hi everyone, I am a final year law/psychology student who is currently studying full-time in Canberra. I will be moving to Sydney in December for further studies, so I am hoping to find a place to move in Dec. I am a friendly person but at the same time, I respect other people's privacy as well. Most importantly I am also clean and tidy. I don't party - I spend most of my time studying, eating and sleeping, so there will not be any issue with noise. I have been renting in Sydney and Canberra since 2009 so I understand what it means to be a good housemate - to be courteous, flexible, considerate and respectful of other housemates and of course to pay my rentals on time.
Tom - I work full time as a Solicitor in the city. Enjoy a beer, like to keep fit, watch sports, play video games, read etc. Try to keep active where i can. I enjoy cooking and i'm easy to get along with. Looking for like-minded housemates. Emily - Originally from the UK, working full time in the city for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. I enjoy watching movies and going to the theatre. Known to bake a cake or two every now and then. I'm easy to get on with and am very laid-back. Looking for housemates to enjoy a glass of wine with after a tough day at work.
I work full time Monday - Friday and will hardly be home during the week. I am fun, clean, reliable, very easy going and have a great rental history. I am a non-smoker. I am an active person who enjoys surfing, the beach, and being outdoors!
I am a 30 year old Melbournian that has spent the last year in Paddington and am looking for a change. I will be work full time in the city for an education provider and generally work late hours. To be honest you probably won't see too much of me during the week as I will be getting home around 11pm-12am each night. I am a clean and tidy person, conscious of being quiet when I am coming home late and a terrible cook (I do not really use the kitchen at all). Given my work hours I am looking for a place that is really close to public transport (and relatively close to the city in any direction) In my spare time I will be doing some post-graduate study which means I'll most likely be procrastinating by watching docos, going to the beach or reading some non uni related books.
Hi All, Im a recent graduate moving from the UK to Sydney and will be working within Fashion PR and Marketing. Im used to living with people and have done throughout my whole time at University. Im quite easy going, relaxed and very clean and tidy! Im looking for either a flat that is quite sociable and friendly or people who are like minded looking to team up for a flat share. Anything closer to the beach is a bonus i guess! I regularly go to the gym and enjoy keeping fit but also cant say no to the odd glass of wine. Looking to move in on October 25th but happy to pay rent from week beginning the 22nd. Please give me a message if you think I'm suitable for what your looking for! :)
I'm cool and collected, like to go out for drinks and play my music. I'm a singer. I work 4-5 days a week at the moment in the city. Love going to the beach, seeing bands, going to the bar, hanging with friend and also I love just having a snooze 😂
