Hi there, my name is Anji Shu. I’m an international student from China, holding a valid student visa for Australia. I will start my university-mandated English language course at VU Sydney on April 20th, and after that I will continue studying the Graduate Diploma and Master’s in Early Childhood Education. I plan to study and live in Australia long-term, so I’m looking for stable and quiet accommodation.
I’m hoping to rent for at least 6 to 12 months, ideally within a 30–60 minute commute by public transport to VU Sydney. I prefer suburbs that are safe, quiet, and convenient for daily life — not too far from Coles or Woolworths. A place in reasonable condition that allows me to focus on my studies and rest well would be perfect. I’m also happy to share accommodation, as long as my roommates are non-smoking, don’t drink excessively, keep the place clean, and avoid loud parties or unnecessary noise.
I’m a disciplined and responsible person who spends most of my time studying and improving myself. In my free time, I like to stay active by exercising. As a Virgo, I really care about cleanliness and always keep shared spaces tidy. I have rented several times in China after graduating, and in every case, I maintained a really good relationship with my landlords — even after moving out. I have no pets and no children, so I won’t cause any extra disturbance or damage.
Financially, I have enough savings to cover my living expenses and rent throughout my studies. I will also work legally part-time to gain local experience, which will further ensure I can always pay rent on time without any issues. I will follow the tenancy agreement carefully, pay rent promptly, look after the property, and communicate politely if any problems come up.
