I’m very considerate, quiet, a bit reserved, and clean. I like to meet new people and enjoy good conversation, but I’m also mindful of the need for alone time in a share house.
I’m respectful of noise, especially towards anyone that works on a night roster or who really appreciates a weekend sleep-in, and the importance of having a comfortable and safe home to come home to after a long day. I’ve lived in share houses for a number of years and really value fairness, being approachable and kind, and equality.
I like to contribute to cleaning and I find it therapeutic for me to do a good upkeep house clean at least once a week. I also find it important to keep shared spaces tidy for the next housemate, so I always clean up after myself. I am happy to equally contribute to any shared house products but will be happy to go off whatever arrangement you already have set in place.
I love music, reading, movies, coffee (bit of a coffee snob), a spa/sauna hangout, and seeing my friends. I also spend a lot of my time with my 11 year old mini longhaired dachshund, Finn, who acts more like a sleepy house cat than an energetic dog. Finn is well taken care of, socialised, low maintenance and is also very quiet. Occasionally, Finn spends the day with me at my work, which attests to how calm and sweet he is. I’m currently working part-time (at a minimum of four days per week) as a Senior Administration Officer at a Psychology clinic in Woolloongabba. Because of the sensitive nature of my work, I really value coming home to a tidy, stress-free home.
Ideally, I’d be looking for a place for the next ~6 months at the very minimum. If there’s an opportunity to not be on the lease, I’d like to discuss this, but I’m also very happy and willing to sign a lease if it’s most suitable.
I’m looking to break my current lease so my move in date is flexible.
