A friendly, easy-going 23 year old female looking to move closer to work and beat the city traffic. I finished uni this time last year and currently work full time in supply and logistics near Wakerley. I'm quite clean and tidy and would much prefer a house similar. I like my own space but do enjoy a tea chat or a few drinks every once in a while. I'm looking to move in around late July/August for a 6 month stay with the possibility of extending. I would prefer for bills and internet to be included in the rent but will consider otherwise. Let me know if you think your place suits :) I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys, This is Mitch and Nicole. Mitch and I recently moved here from Brisbane to Melbourne. We have found a place in North Croydon. Which has 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom. We are looking for another person to move in with us. We are very laid back couple. We are very respectful of someones privacy! We think that is definitely a necessity living in a shared house. We are very tidy! We love to have a chat here and there, but we do love our down time. Mitch works full time in the building industry. We haven’t clarified how much rent is as of yet. We will split it evenly aswell as bills. Please feel free to shoot us a message if your interested in seeing the house! Thanks!
UPDATE: I have moved into a great home however they can only offer my tenancy until mid November, so I’m now looking for a place to move into late October early November. Looking for a place to rent in south-east Brisbane, I work full time in the QAS across metro south. I’m a 22 Year old male, I 'm pretty quiet, clean and tidy. I spent 2017 living with 2 female housemates who kept me in check! I also stayed with 3 other great housemates in Wynnum early 2018, however I left to North Queensland for a contract job for 3 months and my room's been filled! They'd be happy to provide a character reference though. I'm a bit of a PC gamer, and also play acoustic guitar (though I'll be sure to be quiet late at night/ if you're studying or need some quiet).
Hi everyone! I am looking for a place to call home around Wooloongabba. I work part time as an assistant nurse and enjoy a quiet evening at home now and then. Sometimes I do night shifts so it's nice to live with someone respectful as I may need to sleep in the mornings. Even though I like my space I do enjoy a friendly conversation. Things you must know about me: I don't smoke or drink alcohol so I would like to find someone that shares similar values. I could move in first weekend of July. I would prefer not signing a long lease (3 months would be ok). Thank you.
Hey there! Im a uni student looking for a place that is friendly but enjoys space as well. I love being social but also need my own downtime :) I don't spend a whole heap of time at home so I'm looking for a place that is okay with me not being around 24/7. I am a clean person and respectful at all times, hope to hear from you!! Saz
I'm a professional working full time, not a messy person, and won't leave the kitchen in a unkempt state (who likes cooking in a dirty kitchen?). I clean up after myself and am more than happy to be a friendly, social roommate, however like everyone I do enjoy private time. I also keep a fairly active lifestyle (running, cycling, rock climbing, etc). Most of the time, anyway :) Ideally I need at least room for a desk with a PC and books etc., on top of regular storage. I also have a car, motorbike and two bikes (pedal power) that will need to go somewhere relatively safe. I'm looking preferably for somewhere with more than one bathroom, and if there's undercover parking or space for my car (and/or motorbike) that's a big incentive for me!!! I have my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is best. Message me if you think you may have something for me to consider, or if you want to team up to find a place.
I am a pretty chilled out guy working full time as a Medical Rep. I look after WA also so often on the road and won't be home. I play alot of basketball (every night and weekends) and get to the gym when I can also. I'm definitely not a party guy - but I do like a glass (or bottle) of red and a nice dinner. Bills are paid on time and in advance, don't smoke and not noisy! Cheers
My husband and I are looking to relocate to Brisbane for work and we are looking to rent a studio apartment, granny flat or private room with BIR and/or ensuite. Our budget at the moment is nothing over $180 a week but once we begin working we are happy to discuss increasing rent. We are both very quiet, respectful peope who don't drink or party. We have a car so off-street parking would be ideal but not a necessity :) My name is Taylah and I am 19, 20 in September. My husbands name is Jamon and he just turned 22. We have been turned down by a few agencies due to not having a rental history, but we are able to pay rent on time and will keep the house in pristine condition. If you have anything that may suit us, please get in contact as we would be more then happy to come and meet you! Thankyou so much, Taylah & Jamon.
I'm a restaurant venue manager who is pretty quiet and enjoys to just chilling out on my weekends. I would prefer a one bedroom unit, studio or granny flat. However am willing to team up or go with share accommodation. If sharing I require an unfurnished room with private bathroom or ensuite and require storage space as I have additional furniture and a fridge and washing machine.
Irish professional looking to live with friendly people. Hard worker , very respectful, love a good laugh! Have a beautiful very well mannered groodle called Hugo!! Please only send potential rentals if you want a fur ball living with you! He’s big but does not shed or bark!
Hey the name is Nathaniel. I work part time and study clinical science at Griffith. I am looking for a room...obviously. Moving out of a noisy household around September and need a place where people don't mind having some socialising time; but respect others peace when they need to sleep. When I'm not studying or working I'll be gaming (pc or xbox), at the pub, watching sport or chilling with my friends. Preferably would like to stay with people my age but not too fussed. - Respectful and friendly (don't mind a good chat or debate) - Can cook up a storm (best at curries) - Open minded (be nice to me and I'll be nice to you :D ) - Clean - Can fix most computer problems :P
We are two sisters from England who are looking for somewhere to live for a while so that we can spend some time with our Australian relatives. Laura (21) is currently completing her semester abroad at UTS Sydney, and Georgia (23) has just arrived in Australia as the last stop on her post-graduation travels. We are both clean and responsible, and are very used to living in new places and with new people. We are looking for a room to share from around mid June until around September time, but are flexible with dates.
Hello, my name is Arthur. I am an international student who will be commencing studies in Brisbane, in July 2018. I am also a full time employee (overseas) who will be undertaking the 2 year study as part of my training and employment requirement. I keep myself neat and tidy and am always respectful of others space. I'm pretty quiet but very easy to get along with. Always in control of everything bills wise and like to be organised. You will find me busy during weekdays with studies and all but should have a little free time during the weekends to chill out. I prefer bills and internet to be included in the rent. En-suite room is preferred with enough space for a study table. I will be in Brisbane by early June 2018, hence I am looking for accommodation that will be available by then. Message me if you need more information. Thank you.
Hey! :) I'm Joanne and I'm looking for an amazing new place/group of people to share with. I'm pretty chill but know what I like and how I like to live. Honesty is as important to me as kitchen hygeine and am looking for a peaceful share house where everyone gets along. :) I'm a pretty direct person and will tell you when something bugs me, but there aren't a lot of things that do. Otherwise, I love watching movies, am an animation fan, knower of many animal facts, play me some computer games and have many feels about the Marvel movies. At the moment I'm doing a little study but normally work full time in admin and volunteer at Vinnie's on the weekend. :) I'm always up for a chat, sometimes a meal but definitely have my own life and will respect your space. Respect for each other's belongings is also very high on my list, and I'm a believer in 'you break it, you bought it'. Can't dos: -Kids -Housemates over 50 -Smoking and drugs of any kind, even if it's outside -Boarding style accommodation, I want to meet and know when I'm moving in with :) -Poor hygeine in kitchen or bathroom. And dirty floors too... -People who are up at all hours, sorry shift workers D: -Party houses. Excluding the odd Game of Thrones, Marvel movies, Eurovision gatherings Must haves: -People who will tell me when I derp. Seriously, I will forget the odd thing and need a reminder -Cleaning agreement/roster. Complete non negotiable -Awesome water pressure in the shower -A room no smaller that 3mx3m -People who have virtually identical habits and ick territories -Fellow members of the 'asleep by 11pm' club Wishful thinking -Room/storage space for my own washing machine! It's a beast and I love it -Aerial point in my room. If this sounds like you, or what you're looking for, flick me a message or give me a call. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. :D
Hello peoples! My name is Maddie, I am 25, I work part-time in retail and study natural medicine full-time. During the week I am at Uni or at home doing uni work (it never ends) and on the weekends I'm at work so you probably won't see much of me. I am looking for housemates that are chill and independent. I like people that are clean, responsible and respectful of the home and the housemates as I am the same. I'm not looking to party and socialize every night. Studying a Bachelors degree is damn full on so I can't always be super social :( But, in saying that, I do enjoy a beer and a chat over dinner. I will also binge-watch the s**t out of a Netflix series with you and battle you to a board game. I'm super easy to live with, I'm understanding and very considerate of others as I have lived in a few sharehouses. I love a good laugh, and I'm a bit of a dork to be honest so you'll probably always be laughing AT me and not WITH me. I like to be social just as much as I love my quiet time. I'm a bit of a master-chef in the kitchen and I like to keep as healthy as possible. All in all, I'm a nice gal looking for some good, decent humans to move in with :) Thanks!
Hi! I'm fairly easy going! I work 5 days a week - up and out super early and out some weeknights at either dancing or some other thing. I like to fill my weekends to the brim too! I'm outdoorsy and friendly, hard to offend or annoy (almost impossible). I do have a dog - 7 year old kelpie/collie - but he's living quite happily on my parents acreage. Shoot me a message if you've got an awesome little place you need someone to live in with you... Just a few things: I'm not looking for a quick fix, or anything fully furnished... I do prefer off-street (hopefully garaged!) parking, and I would prefer to live with 1 or 2 people in the same age bracket approx. mid-late 20s/early-mid 30s. Thanks!
I am a 19 year old retail worker looking for a one bedroom place to live. I am quiet and keep to myself but am always up for a drink, coffee and a movie night. I am relaxed, easy going and like to keep the house clean. Ideally I am looking for a granny flat or studio but am open to living with other people. I am located in Brisbane and would like to find a place in the area. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a 21 year old QUT student looking for a new home. Moving in late July. Minimum of 6 months stay and am keen for longer. I'm looking for a private room in a sharehouse, or to start up a new sharehouse. I'm clean and respectful of housemate privacy and everyone's schedules, and have experience living in a sharehouse. I play video games, watch netflix and travel a fair bit. I love to cook as a form of procrastination, so if you like cookies / brownies you'll like me! I enjoy spending time with my friends and being social. Board games and wine are a favourite of mine so it would be fantastic to get new friends to join in! Other than studying full time, I work as a school tutor and bartender, and have a steady flow of income. Ideally the room would be furnished (double / queen bed and a desk) and have air conditioning / fans. However I'm flexible with everything! I love pets but come with none of my own. Currently don't own a car so public transport to the city is vital for location.
Hey! I'm currently working in banking/finance. I work weekdays and have weekends off. I'm looking to move in July and would be quite flexible with living arrangements. I like to be sociable and get to know people but also like my own space at times. I’m a live and let live kinda guy, keep a tidy room and I am respectful of others. Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
Hi, my girl Tori and I are looking for our new home. We're currently living by ourselves in Forest Lake, the house is for sale and I'd love to move closer to everything I enjoy, have someome to share a home with and split the bills so money can be spent on more fun things. A leafy area would be superb as Tori and I love walks. About me - I've called Brisbane home for a year and half. I work as an administrator/coordinator at a mining company. I love that it pays the bills but no so much that it's a mining company. I love yoga, stand up paddle & dancing. In my spare time I'll also be at the markets, movies, brunch/dinner with mates. I'd rather go out with friends than have people over. About Tori - she's been my girl for 16/17 years. She's super chilled and respectful. She loves sunbaking, bones and paddle boarding. She doesn't ask for anything, if you ignore her she'll do the same. If you're in the mood for hanging with her she'll more than likely jump on board with that. She does lose hair and roll in grass and because of this I've taken on the responsibility of most of the cleaning in my previous sharehouse. I'm after someone who'd like to make a house a home and who'd welcome Tori. I'd welcome a housemate who'd like to join me on market trips etc.
