Hey I’m Manny, 35, turning 36 in August. I’m a carpenter, but not the house-building kind — I build playgrounds for a living, which probably says enough already. If something breaks in the house, chances are I’ll fix it before anyone even notices.

I’m social in a pretty relaxed way. Happy to hang out, share a meal, have a laugh or a wine, but I also like having my own space and downtime. I don’t mind a party house as long as it’s not chaos every weekend. I work full time and usually start early, around 5 or 6am, so I’m pretty quiet and considerate during the week.

Outside work I’m into board sports, bikepacking, overnight hikes and generally anything a bit adventurous. I’m also involved in the Blazing Swan community and occasionally throw a decent techno party.

As a housemate I’m uncomplicated, approachable and easy to live with. I smoke, but always outside, and I’m clean in shared spaces. If there’s ever a mess, it’ll be hidden safely in my room where nobody has to witness it.

Looking for a place that actually feels like home rather than just people splitting rent. Would be great to live with good humans who get along naturally without forcing the whole “we’re a family now” thing. Bonus points for a backyard, plants everywhere, and people who appreciate someone that can build them random things out of wood.
