Klara

Hello everyone! My name is Klara. I'm a 24 year old from Potsdam, a wonderful little city close to Berlin. After stopping my studies of medicine I started my Psychology BA two years ago at a university in Berlin. Next to my studies I'm currently working as a student research assistant in neuroscience. During my time in Sydney I will be studying at the UNSW, taking some Psychology courses.
I love spending time in the outdoors, so when I find the time to escape the city, you have a high chance of finding me hiking or camping somewhere. Otherwise I enjoy a variety of different sports like bouldering, soccer, yoga or surfing (when I'm lucky enough to be around the ocean). When I'm not doing any of these things I also very much love the calm of reading, writing and sketching, simply sitting in the sun somewhere or taking the time to cook some good food. While being alone is something I need, spending time with close friends is just as important to me. Whether it's going for a coffee, seeing an exhibition together, having a little picknick or watching a movie together...
I have been living in shared apartments ever since I moved out from home 6 years ago so I know how important it is to create a caring environment with the people you live with, to communicate what's important to each one and to respect their needs and boundaries. I am a tidy person and will always do my part in trying to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. I would wish to find people who care about this as well and who are happy to spend some time together whilst of course giving everyone the space and time alone they need.
