Hey,

I’m Toby, a 23 year old from England moving back to Tasmania for work in late August and I’m looking for a room to rent, ideally somewhere friendly, clean and relaxed.

I’ll be working as a lodge host on the Three Capes Track, so my roster will involve me being away in blocks for work, generally 8 days away and 6 days home, give or take a day. Outside of work I’m pretty outdoorsy and love hiking, camping, diving, bouldering, going out for great food and making the most of where I’m living.

I’ve lived in various places all over Australia over the last 2 years and have lived in multiple shared houses so I’m respectful, clean and easy going. I’m social and always happy for a chat and the occasional shared dinner or games night, but I also like my own space and understand that people have different routines.

I have my own car, so off street parking is a bonus but not a must, I don’t smoke and not a party person. I’m looking for somewhere I can settle into properly while I’m based in Tassie up until May 2027 but I’m open to shorter term as well. I’m looking for a place around Blackmans Bay area but would also be interested in similar locations or around south Hobart and Sandy Bay.

I’m happy to provide references or come and meet for a chat. I’ll be in Tasmania from the 20th of August.
