Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Yoana, originally from Heze, Shandong, and I'm currently based in Beijing — but I'll be moving to Melbourne for my studies.
About me:
I'm a PhD student at VU Amsterdam, so most of my time will be spent on research, reading, and writing. I'm pretty focused during the day, but I also believe in a good work-life balance.
What I like to do for fun:
I'm really into sports — I work out regularly, and I love playing badminton and pickleball. I also enjoy grabbing a good cup of coffee, whether it's at a cozy café or just at home. I'm generally easygoing, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces.
I'm looking for a flatshare with female flatmates only — somewhere safe, comfortable, and homey. Ideally I'd love to find a place in Kensington, since it would be super convenient. An ensuite bathroom would be great, and I'd prefer bills included to keep things simple.
In terms of house dynamics, I'm hoping we can all agree on a few basics: no bringing guys home, respecting each other's privacy, and keeping shared areas clean. I'm looking for a long-term stay (6–12 months) with flatmates who are friendly, considerate, and easy to communicate with.

If that sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out — I'd love to chat more!
Cheers,
Yoana
