Hey there pals! I'm looking for a private room to move into in late August/early September. I love the Moonee Valley area and would preferably like to stay put around here or somewhere nearby. I just left studies in creative writing at La Trobe and am working as an administrative assistant and developing my own business selling prints of my art. I spend a good deal of my spare time at home in my own space, painting and drawing. Because of that, I might be wrongly perceived as reclusive to some but I always love having a good chat and am always up for doing things as a house. It'd be great to find a place with roomies who are likeminded and also enjoy that sense of company and actually being friends with who they live with. I also love yoga, learning guitar and Seinfeld is my go-to show. I appreciate a clean house and am very respectful and I always have money for rent and bills in time. Message me if this sounds like I'd be right for your place :)
Hi, I'm Theresa and I'll be moving from Canberra to Melbourne for work. I'm looking for a private room preferably in or close to the city. I work in the Public Service and I have been living in shared accommodation for more than five years. I am a clean and respectful housemate and would like to find a place with sociable housemates who are up for a chat and the occasional meal/drink together. Shoot me a message if you think I might be a good fit!
I'm an aussie viet kid with love of conversation and forming meaningful relationships with other people. In my spare time, I do Judo and Photography. I love going out to meet new people, and exploring bars and festivals around Melbourne. I work as a lifeguard for Yarra City, and study Computer Science at Monash. Incredibly clean and respectful, I'm non-judgemental and easy to get along with. I'm sure we'll get along swimmingly! ***I have a bit of a dust allergy however, so I can't stay anywhere that has carpet/pets/ducted heating. Other than that, all kosher!***
I am fun and outgoing, love a chat and to sit down for a meal with the people I live with. I cook and bake a lot. Very clean and respectful. I also like my quiet time to sit down and relax to watch my shows. Study part time at RMIT in the city and work part time in retail. In my spare time I like to bake and cook, love going out for a meal, tv shows, movies, adventures, on weekends I am usually with my partner or at work. Walking distance to tram or train lines is a must. Not interested in a party house, looking for like minded people to live with. $700 a month including all bills is my max budget. Female only households!!!! Looking for a room with built in robe. I also have all my own bedroom furniture. So will need a decent size room as I have a queen size bed, dresser, bedsides etc.
I work as an engineer in Sunshine and sometimes in the City, am 27, love coffee and reading books and having good chats. I'm learning chinese at the moment, play basketball on Thursday, trying to learn hip hop on weekends, and generally try to keep myself busy. I work 9-5pm, sometimes past 5pm, Monday to Friday. Would love to be a part of a nice and interesting share house. Hit me up if that sounds good :), Michael
My name is Brittany, I’m 20years old and My partners name is Bodie who is 18years. Bodie is finishing his apprenticeship in Spray painting cars in North Melbourne 5 days a week and I’m currently looking for full time work. I want to work in a Child Care Centre so I need find work to be able to complete my study and work placement. We are clean and positive people with a good attitude who like to work and save money. What I think would make us good people to live with is that, we know how to clean, cook, and we would do anything you’d ask us to do, we will respect you and your house + other people within the house hold and pay rent money on time. We both like to go for adventuress and explore the nature in our spare time for fun.
Hi I'm Renee, a 23-year-old Australian female currently working full-time as a Support Worker for a Women’s Refuge Centre in the city centre. For the past 6 months I have been renting an apartment in North Fitzroy with a good friend. Unfortunately, our lease is up on the 30th of July and my friend is going travelling overseas. Hence the need for a place for myself asap. I’m a social person but I also love my alone time and like to consider myself an independent, open-minded person that is easy to get along with. I like to cook, run, paint and I occasionally attend yoga classes. I’m passionate about my job and the work I do in managing women in crisis. I also love meeting new people, going on all types of adventures and I love to travel when ever I get the chance. I have two adorable indoor cats named Bob Marley and Stevie Nicks. They are the cutest, friendliest cats you will ever meet that love nothing more than snuggling up on your lap for a belly rub. Marley has just had his 1st birthday and Stevie is 4. They are not like regular cats and I promise you will fall in love with them when you meet them as everybody does. If having the cats is an issue I may consider them living somewhere else but I would rather not. If you think I sound like a fit for your home please swing me a message 😊
Hi Guys, living in shared apartments, on cruise ships, vans and festivals since over 7 years makes me - so say my former roomates - a fun and respective roomie :) I am from Munich, Germany and will study a semester abroad for six moths, starting mid-july. I am planning to work half-time and ready to explore the vibes of the city and everything Australia has to offer. I love the feathers in my hair, i am craving for banana milk shakes and am addicted to listen good music (any taste but metal). Always good for a beer, a philosophical chat about everything or any kinds of sport, especially skate (it's life) and acro yoga (looking for a partner!)! I also do - recording to my grandma - the best curry (veggie/vegan/standard) in the world. My parents provided me with education that makes paying rent on time, cleaning after me, helping wherever I can and respecting privacy and diversity a basic instinct. So, if you have something cozy, tiny, chilled, furnished, central or with connections, friendly and not over 180 $/week I am your best candidate! Looking forward to get in touch, of course also everyone offering something outside the suburbs I tagged. Sending good vibes from the European summer, Te
I am a 48 years brazilian guy who works for the government of Brazil. Right now i have been removed temporarily for my PhD program on RMIT. I am a sports freak, really good soccer and tennis player and i wor out every day. Like most of brazilians i am very friendly, easy going, like to chat, watch movies and have a beer or a wine. Very focused on my career, but i can separate studies from some fun with friends. I also like to cook some food and it don't taste bad at all!!! Looking forward to meet a nice flatmate!
Hi I’m pitch, from Thailand and am gonna be in Melbs for 1 more years. I’m studying in Marketing and Communication. Just got a job in Footscray at Back Alley’s Sally. Pretty open minded chilled girl. I’m tiday, clean and organised. Thank You!
Hi! I'm Emma and looking for a place preferably in the inner suburbs, close to work and training. I'm currently working part time at woolies (yes can get you that sweet 5% team member discount ;)) and do acrobatics (gymnastics) 4 times a week, so I'm pretty busy and between the two don't have much free time. I'm pretty chill, clean and enjoy some nice banter once you get to know me
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 21 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I work in the jewellery industry, and am looking to move to Melbourne to start working in documentary video production. I like music, nature, reading, video, and good conversation. I am looking for a clean, tidy, good condition house with parking available and people who get along well.
I'm an IT nerd by day and fairly friendly happy person, moved to Melbourne from Perth and love it here. Love boardgames & books and all things Sci-Fi. I am fairly quiet & keep to myself most days, and always clean and tidy. I like to get along with most people and see myself as a fairly friendly sociable person. I'm currently living in Preston, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Hi, there. I am Hiromi from Japan, in Vocational School and having 2 part-time jobs. I am hardly at home all day but I would like to stay in my room quietly when I have a time. However, I am happy to occasional chat or party if it happens in a house. I love keeping my room and house clean but not super obsessed cleaning. I am looking for somewhere easy to access Richmond and Brunswick, prefer a private room with furnished and a own bathroom is the best but sharing a bathroom with maximum 3 people include me is also good. I will be here in Melbourne for 11 months, moving in date is flexible between 21st July and 5th August. I smoke but of course not in the room. I am happy if there is a balcony or a door that I could get out without bothering other people. For the last thing, I am afraid of animals, so no pet place. Thank you Hiromi
We are a couple in our twenties from the UK on a working holiday visa. We're looking to move into a flat share or shared house from early September 2018 for around three months. We are friendly, easygoing, responsible, clean and tidy. We enjoy socialising but aren't big party people. I speak Italian and some French. Bills and internet included would be preferable but not essential. Non smoking and no pets preferred due to allergies.
My name is Emiliano and I just got to Melbourne from Mexico City. I will study the coming semester in VU. I have lived in a share house with roomies, so I am aware of how to behave and how people want to be treated. I am a calm person who enjoy sports, walking, and a good chat.

Hello Flatmates My name is Sean, I am a 27yr old guy. I'm currently a student in Communications (Media) in my final year at RMIT. Ive just returned from a 6 month study exchange in Singapore/China and i'm hoping I can find a cosy place I can call home. To make ends meet I work for a few companies as a subcontractor/casual in the live events/audio visual industry. I'm a quiet natured fellow who likes coffee, making videos & music. I also like going to friends shows and doing yoga on occasion. Previously I lived in Thornbury and held a lease for two years in a house of four, so I know the importance of a clean, functional and cohesive house! I would say i'm out and about a lot, always scheming on some sort of project, however I do value building meaningful relationships with fellow housemates. If you want to know anything else, get in touch! Cheers Sean
I'm a musician who’s working part time at Docklands. My higher education is Bachelor in Advertising Design. I love art, fashion and spirituality. I cook and clean my own sh*t. I like to do my own thing but not anti-social. If we live together, I’m open to discuss democracily regarding the place we live in.
ABOUT ME Hi possible-future-housemates 🤗 🏠 . I'm Lane and I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble Northside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Clifton Hill, etc.). I'm open to short-term or long-term options. I'm a quiet, considerate, creative soul who loves running, good food, good coffee, and great conversation. I'm all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environmental, and more — and I appreciate balanced homes. I lean left, arty, and less-masculine: I'm not looking to live in any variations of Blokes' World... I am looking for a clean, open, honest homely-home; somewhere I feel I'm coming home to and somewhere I feel I belong. I'm well-versed in co-living — I'm currently living in a 7 bedroom converted-convenience-store-sharehouse (which I love); before here I was living on my own (which I also love, in ways; though I love social interactivity more), so I'm pretty adaptable — and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
Hi! My name is Dan. I have recently arrived in Melbourne from Brisbane. I have moved to Melbourne for work and I will also be studying part-time at the University of Melbourne for the next couple of years. I am almost 24 years old, tidy and easy to get along with. In my free time I like to watch movies/ sport and have a coffee with friends. I am a very active person. I enjoy exercising and pretty much all sports. I have been living in shared accommodation in Brisbane for 3-4 years now. I am always respectful and polite to my housemates. I think it is really important to feel comfortable in your home and I do my best to accommodate that for others. I am happy to help out if you need a hand and will take very good care of my room and the house. I am looking for a place that is located near(ish) to Parkville/ Melbourne CBD at a reasonable price. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks Dan.
