I'm an international student from California (certifiably anti-Trump, in case you were worried) studying veterinary medicine at University of Melbourne. I've been living in Northcote for the past 2 years and have loved that hipster life, but now have to move a bit further west since all of my classes will be out in Werribee next year. I'm fairly laid-back and flexible about living styles, but like to keep common living spaces relatively clean. I currently live in a 3-bedroom sharehouse with 5 other people, so as you can imagine I don't need a ton of space to myself. That said, I would maybe enjoy sharing a kitchen and bathroom with slightly fewer people than 5 people like I currently do lol. I keep myself pretty busy between uni, my social life, and occasionally the gym (this is a new thing for me so jury's still out on how long that will last) but I'm usually down to do stuff/hang out if I'm not bogged down by uni work (love a good drink). Hoping to find a room in a houseshare somewhere close to the city but near the Werribee train line (e.g. Footscray, Seddon, Newport, Yarraville, etc.) since that is how I'll probably be commuting to uni every day. My hope is to move in sometime in early January or February. Shoot me a message if you think our criteria match and we can arrange a time to meet up to chat about it in person.
I am 27yo high school teacher, working full time (besides the leisurely school holiday periods). I am very friendly, bubbly and social, but also like and respect others down time and need some quiet time myself occasionally. I am a non-smoker, don't have any pets, do have a car and am LGBTQI+ friendly. Interests include: Socialising over food/drinks, brunch is my favourite meal of the day! Visiting Art Galleries Photography I love the beach, and will spend most, if not all warm summer days there. Among other things. I am looking for a neat and tidy, yet relaxed environment with some sociable housemates who are open minded and can also respect other's needs. Other working professionals of a similar age would be preferred but not mandatory.
Clean, responsible, tidy. Exercise regularly and I play social basketball on Thursday nights. I'm social and I love a chat/coffee/beer but I also enjoy some quite time. I work full time as a civil engineer in the city, the usual 9-5.
