Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in November/December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
Hi, I'm Jemma. I am currently on my gap year before I make the move to Melbourne to complete a bachelor of education at Vic Uni. I am very interested in meeting with someone who would love to team up and create a new home together! But I am open to anything! I am very active and healthy person, I enjoy exercising in any form, enjoy high intensity and pushing myself to my limits. I usually go to the gym about 6 times a week and enjoy getting outdoors at any chance I can. I love cooking and love food, I love being able to create recipes and love what I eat. I am a very clean person and understand when space is needed. Ideally in a roommate I would love someone who isn't just a roommate but also a friend and family! I would love to talk to any of you and would love a message from you guys! Thank you for viewing my listing xx
Hey guys! My name is Kri and I'm on the hunt for a place to live from early 2019. I'm from Brisbane and I'm moving to Melbourne where I'll study a Master of Environment. I don't know Melbourne very well (although I do have family dotted around) so I'm looking for a place that is lively and welcoming towards a newcomer to the big smoke ;) I like to keep a clean shop and am well accustomed to communal living. This means I'm pretty easygoing and up for a chat whenever, but I can also gauge when you might need some alone time. I'm quite a social person but this Master is going to be challenging for me.. so its all about balance, right? My interests and hobbies include marine conservation, diving (free and scuba), yoga, mario kart, camping, playing piano, eating cheese, 4WDing, dancing, wine (love red but won't say no to a rose' when the afternoon is inviting), bushwalking, beers, sunsets, sunrises.. the list goes on. I guess I'm pretty outdoorsy and would love to live with some likeminded people so I ain't feeling all cooped up in the city. I've spent this year living in Malaysia on a pretty remote island so this is gonna be a big move for me - but I'm excited and I hope my new homies would be too!
I am quiet and usually don't like making a lot of noise. Usually, I will try my best to be considerate and not disturb other people inside the house. I am also a gamer so if my flatmates want to make a LAN party, count me in. As a clean maniac, I always make sure the place is as clean as possible, however, I'm also lazy, so I only do that when I get assigned to clean for that day :)). But generally, I still try to keep the commonplace such as kitchen or living room clean anyway.
Hello! I am looking to live in a share house. It is important to me that this is a quiet house as I will be entering Honours next year. I also would prefer a desk to be able to fit in the bedroom or a place where I can study undisturbed. I am a social being and I would like to live with people who aren't scared to have a chat. Looking to hopefully bring along my ginger cat.
I’m studying at RMIT City campus start of 2019 Looking for somewhere with bills included in rent price per week. I’m clean and tidy Not a party person but enjoys being social Healthy lifestyle - outdoors, gym etc I have a Spoodle she’s just 1 year old and she’s great - she has other living arrangements
Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
Hi, my name's Shaun and I'm working full-time in the public sector. Typically it's a normal Mon-Fri and I'll usually be out 2 or 3 nights during the week with sport or part-time uni. On the weekend I'll usually be playing golf or catching up with friends, sometimes heading back to Warrnambool where I grew up. I moved to Melb for uni in 2007 and loved the city lifestyle, it's hard to find a reason to live anywhere else (aside from Winter). I tend to veg out after work but do enjoy a chat with my housemates, my studies ensure I live a pretty quiet My favourite procrastination activity is cleaning so you may benefit from that! I've shared houses with bedroom hermits and socialites, flexible with either as long as we're respectful of each other :) Btw the reason I'm looking for a new home is that I need somewhere to park my future car. My current apartment doesn't have a car space and I recently found out the council won't allow apartment tenants to buy parking permits. So either off-street or on-street parking availability is required.
Social professional - active and work long hours during the week, I keep busy, like to read, watch a docos, cook, have a wine/beer, hangout with family and friends or blob out (do nothing). I’m not in rush to find a place - just after a place that is more of a home then just a place to stay with someone or people who like music in the home. Happy for teamups as well. Not interested in living with couples and I like animals ( I do not have any pets). Pls note: I’m not interested in a cleaning schedule - I clean up after myself and prefer to be in an environment where this is standard.
Hey there! My names Lily, I’m 21 years old working full time as an admin/receptionist. I’m a relaxed and pretty easy going house mate, I’ve been sharing houses for a bit over 3 years (so pretty well seasoned). I keep pretty busy so happy to live in a house with different schedules but I do enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine when I am home. I also have a female 3 y/o grey tortoise shell cat named Sydley. She is very well house trained and is an indoor and outdoor cat spending most of the days outside and night time inside. Unfortunately she does not get along with other cats but she has lived in houses with rabbits and other animals with no problems at all. (She’s definitely not a hunter).
I’m a tidy conscientious human who happens to be gay and enjoys a good chat on the weekend but tends to keep to myself during the week. Big fan of great coffee, a glass of red or a fancy cocktail. I enjoy gardening, listening to podcasts near large bodies of water and love cats. A bit of a nerd who loves Miyazaki, cards/board games and my PS4.
Welshman on a working holiday in Aus! Looking for a private room in or around Melbourne for the next 3 months :D I’m clean and conscientious, and live pretty minimally in terms of possessions due to travels... A sociable and open book, but I see home as more of a retreat, so I prefer getting out to see people and new places. Big fan of classic lit, I practice yoga regularly, and love to travel and learn. Lefty, vegetarian, and I love a good conversation! Have no specific requirements in terms of house or housemates, as I like to think every situation is a chance to adapt and grow :D Happy to travel further than listed areas if close to a train station. Big fan of art and design, so would probs have to reel in the praise if your place is a beaut :D
I work full time in the city Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday night so I won’t be home much on the weekends. I mainly keep to myself but I do enjoy going out for dinners and having movie/tv binge nights! Im not a big drinker myself but I can definitely make a killer cocktail if you feel like getting a little tipsy with dinner. I am a very happy person, with a chilled out vibe unless I’m really hungry. I also have a 3.5 year old cat named George. He is desexed and an indoor only cat as he isn’t the brightest crayon in the box. Other than that he is very timid but cuddly once he’s warmed up to you. He mostly sleeps on or under my bed all day and is very well behaved. Please let me know if you have any questions! I would prefer to live somewhere close to a train station so I can rely on PT to get to and from work! My max budget is $200 a week not including bills, but ideally I’d like to live a bit cheaper so I can save. I’ve lived out of home for 4 years but so I am a well trained housemate, very tidy and respectful. I would also prefer to live with only females, but if you think we’d be a good match feel free to send me a message ☺️

I’m looking to find a new apartment to lease with another female. I work full time in the travel industry and enjoy cycling and cooking. I am a very relaxed person to live with. I do have two cats so looking for someone who likes cats but doesn’t have any of their own.
My myself and a close friend who I am ‘teaming up’ with are looking for a seperate room each and to move in early February. Joey will be moving from country VIC closer into the city to hopefully study at uni in 2019. I myself am a mature, bubbly and easy going person. Always happy to socialise but I also enjoy some of my own down time. I am looking to move interstate from South Australia to experience more and see more. Please don’t hesitate to message and ask any further questions
Hey guys, 28 year old Half Australian/Japanese Male looking for a new place to live! I currently manage Irish Pub in the city full time, but outside of work, I'm very chilled. I've also got two degrees, a Bachelor of International Relations and a Masters Degree in Public Policy, but I'm delaying my move into governance as I'm really enjoying hospitality management at the moment. I'm also fluent in Japanese, and have cooked professionally in the past! My main interests outside of the above is of course, travel, football (soccer), losing money on the ASX.
I am a professional in my late 20s working full time at RMIT. I am someone who loves living in a house that I can consider home with people whom I can get along with and share a meal or some meaningful chats with when possible I have been living in Melbourne from past 10 years. I enjoy good meals pretty much open to any kind of cuisine. I have lived and shared house with people from various cultures and I am very friendly, tend to keep home clean and respect others privacy. In my free time I like to Yoga, Netflix, Dance classes and may be a road trip out in country. I am LGBTQI friendly and would not want to live with people who are in any way discriminatory. shoot me a message if you feel we would be a good match! Please send me your number as my subscription has expired so I won’t be able to message back. Regards, Vandna
Hi Everyone My name is Carmela and I am a 24 year old student working part-time. I’m originally from interstate and have been living in Melbourne for around 2 years now. I’m looking to move into a fairly new townhouse/apartment anytime in January (before 20/01). I’m open to the Suburb as long as I am not too far out of the city/near a train line. I don’t have any common area furniture (lounge/dining table etc.) but I would be happy to purchase anything we may need/split this cost with you if need be. As a housemate I am friendly and approachable and have an open door policy. I’m neither an introvert nor an extrovert which means that I love to have a good chat but will also respect your space and privacy. I don’t have the expectation that we will be best friends, but what I do expect is mutual respect for one another. Good communication is key! If there is something I am doing that you don’t like, I won’t bite your head off if you say something so long as it’s done out of love. I would rather you tell me and make both our lives easier than stewing over it. At the end of the day I want our home to be a safe space for the both of us which can require a little patience and co-operation. I promise to always meet you half way. I am very clean and I will do my fair share of the chores. I don’t ask that you never leave anything around house ever, but I would appreciate things like washing dirty dishes (leaving them to drip dry is fine so long as they are not there a week!), and wiping down the kitchen bench after use, all that standard stuff. I will occasionally have my family stay over when they visit from interstate (got to love Italian families), but I don’t have a partner who will regularly be staying over. I’m totally fine with it if you do though! I don’t have any pets of my own but again, I’m cool with it if you do. I have a car but it’s no Mercedes, I am happy to park it on the street if need be. That’s all I can think of for now, let me know if you have any questions Much love, Carmela
