Hi i'm Nathan from the U.K., Moving to Melbourne on the 03/07/2017 as i have job lined up.
Hi my name is Gum and I'm a Full Time Youth Worker. I'm 24 years old and easy to get along with. I'm a people's person and can get along with anyone. I'm an extremely clean person and thrive on respecting others. I love to have fun and usually spend my weekends out with mates. I'm very independent but still very sociable.
After almost 2 months travelling, and after my last 5 months living in Melbourne, I came back here for a new job and a stable accommodation from 3 weeks to 3 months for now, but I might stay here until April in next year. I am easy going, open minded, tidy, clean, clam, friendly... I love to meet different people from different countries, I prefer my future flat mates are English speakers, chilling together, like watching movies, listening musics, cooking and dinner together sometimes, also they will have to be clean, would like to clean in the common areas after used, thanks!

Hi I'm Michelle! I'm a friendly, sociable person who enjoys spending time with housemates (inside or outside the home) but also lead a pretty active life & am happy to do my own thing. I'm easygoing, clean & respectful & desire a harmonious house with great people. I also appreciate furry animal friends if they're around too. I like to cook, spend time in nature and love travel & anything creative. I'm a writer who just completed post-grad studies in Public Relations :) I'm also flexible on a move in date if it's a little earlier.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
We're on the hunt for a few amazing humans to team up with to share life, food and laughter in the north/west/north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Hoping to kick off a new lease any time from July 8 onwards. ABOUT US: Mischa (hubby) is 26 and is an Air Traffic Controller at Tulla airport. He reads economics and finance books for fun and he can have a conversation with anybody about anything. So he's the brains of this operation! I'm Naomi, 23, in transition right now between work and study. I've been an early childhood educator but I’m now returning to my life-long dream: to study everything humanities at university. So I'll be studying full time as of this coming semester. I'm also a writer. And I love cooking and hosting big, messy, delicious, happy dinners for everybody. We’ve been married 3 ½ years and have no kids or pets. We've been sharehousing for 2+ years. We have rental references available. We like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! That being said, we need our privacy and down time as much as anyone, and respect others' space. We don't own a TV. You are welcome to bring one with you, but please don't be one of those people who has it turned on all the time (even if it is on mute). That's a deal breaker for us! ABOUT THE (theoretical, not-yet-existent) HOUSE: This is a house where... … everyone works together to foster a friendly, honest, open, supportive culture ...you can invite friends over for a meal or a beer, but in a way that respects other's needs. (If you know another housemate is doing 6am shifts all week, it wouldn't be fair to have people over partying until midnight.) ...housies know a bit about each other's lives and what others are working through, or towards, and are there to provide friendship and conversation when somebody needs to vent or laugh or brainstorm …you feel free to go into hibernation mode and escape from the world and housemates when you need private down time, and the other housemates respect that ...everyone pitches in in equal amounts to maintain the house to a standard that makes living there a pleasant experience for all. That means being willing to clean the bathroom, or take out the bins or wash those few extra dishes that aren't yours. ABOUT YOU: - Australian citizen or permanent resident (for rent contract security) - At least 2 rental references - Looking for a minimum 6-month lease - Employed with a reliable income - Absolutely non-smoker and no illicit drugs - Reliable rent payer - Interested in building into the culture of the house Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to catch up for a cuppa and a chat! EDIT TO ADD: We think we might have just found our dream house. SO. MANY. BEDROOMS. Applications aren't open yet, but we are ready to pounce! Get in touch if you want to live in an INCREDIBLE house in Maidstone, just a few minutes' bus ride from the train station which is 20 minutes into the city!
(Moving from Adelaide - looking for work; if anyone knows of anything please help a sister out! Thank you) I study on line so full time work is cool with me! I'm big music lover, loves to sing in the shower hahah, I can somewhat cook. I listen to all genres. I'm up for a dance, to get down and boogie. I'm pretty chill, to just kick it with others. As long as there's equal cleaning, or just simply cleaning after yourself, we cool.
Hey guys, I'm Mick. I'm 28. I just started a new full time retail job in South Melb. I'm pretty laid back and like to think I can get along with pretty much anyone. I play bass in a band, but noise won't be in an issue. I clean up after myself and am happy to help out with cooking and general house duties. Not a massive 'partier' - my social outings these days usually revolve around going to catch live music/bands. If there's any other questions, feel free to get in touch. Cheers!
I am looking for a furnished room in a share house to call home for 3 months while on FIFO in Melbourne. I am a Brisbane based engagement consultant and will be coming and going throughout my stay. Ideally I'd like to live with like-minded and easy going young professionals who don't mind a bit of banter and a beer. Good public transport connections to Footscray and the city are a must! Please note that the move date is an estimate.
Hi there, I'm Neil 25yo from Sri Lanka and doing Masters here in Victoria Uni. Interested in hanging out with people, making new friends etc. Looking for a nice place to stay. Please feel free to contact
I work full time as a sex worker. Monday-Friday 10am-6pm in a brothel. I do not work from home. Looking for private rent/sublet only. Furnished, or at least just a bed. I am quiet and do my own thing but also happy to share a meal every now and then. Looking to live with open minded people. Must be close to a tram stop or train station. No buses.
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
Hey there! My name is Jessica, I'm 21 years old and from Tamworth, NSW. I'm moving to Melbourne by mid August and needing a place to call home! I'm friendly, clean and always up for hanging out. I work full time in retail and also 4 years of rental history and happy to go on a lease. I hope to find a sharehouse with only females who are really down to earth! Thanks!
I'm from Melbourne and am currently on a leave of absence from post grad studies while I replenish the bank balance...not sure when I'll return to the student life at this stage :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I'm an easy going housemate and really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
Hey all! A little about me - I'm 22 (I don't consider myself an old soul but you know, thought I'd drop a line anyway), I currently work full time as a hairdressing apprentice (free cuts 4 everyone once I learn) I've lived in Melbourne for about 5 years now, my lease is ending at my current place and I've decided it's time for a fresh start and to meet some new people. I'm a bit of a homebody through the week as I work long hours, but I am always down for wine and dinner and a chat to wind down at the end of the day. Definitely down for a beer or 9 on the weekends. I'm super clean and tidy, and very respectful of everyones space. I'm really looking to move somewhere I can call home, not about another short stay. Would love to come by and meet everyone and have a cup of tea if you think I sound like a match! Chat soon Harry
New in Melbourne from Vancouver, Monash Uni researcher, looking to find potential roommates (1, max 2) to team up to rent a two/three bedroom apartment/house in south yarra or st kilda (other areas close to CBD is also considered). I am a very tidy, clean, reliable and responsible person and a considerate one who respects people privacy and space. My regular workdays routine is mainly work/school and Gym from ~7am to ~8pm, then home cooking, watching Netflix, etc till around 11pm. On Saturdays I normally visit friends over hiking or exploring the city (parks, beaches, restaurants and coffee shops, etc.). Sundays with doing groceries/laundry/cleaning, etc. feel free to contact me to see if we could potentially be housemates. Cheers
Currently studying Bachelor of Business at RMIT Love cooking/trying out new recipes and travelling - looking forward to weekend trips with housemates Wish to live with people I can actually become friends with Never paid rent late - happy to prove this with receipts/statements if required Location wise - anywhere less than a 15-min walk to a train station with a train journey of less than 30 mins to the city would work for me Don't hesitate to drop me a message if you wish to know more about me! :)
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Originating from Brisbane I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover (with no pets) house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Currently working in fire prevention (Mon-Fri) while looking to further within the industry. I am always down for a hang and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Otherwise good luck with the hunt!
