Arina

My name is Arina and I work full time in cancer research and policy at Sydney Uni. I was born in Malaysia and I'm an Aus permanent resident; I've been living in Petersham since 2019, and I'm looking to move out as soon as possible (earliest on 29th July, and by mid-August at the very latest).

I have a cat (Georgie), who's well behaved if a bit hairy - I clean up after all the cat hair, of course. Georgie is tidy with his litter and I'm tidy as well, especially in shared spaces (I have a whole set of eco-friendly cleaning supplies I'll be bringing with me, I'm sure). He’s an indoor cat though I do let him enjoy the sun on days I WFH. He’s quiet and I’ve only ever seen him tear up his scratching posts.

I work full-time (hybrid, ~2-3 days from home) on the weekdays, working out after work and mostly going out on the weekends.

I’m an early bird and have always been conscious to not make any loud noises before 9am and after 10pm. I pay rent on time (and often in advance) and handle project budgets and expenses at work, so you can trust I’d be financially responsible.

When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors, language learning, watching YouTube videos and bugging Georgie. I’m always happy for a chat but I’m just as happy to enjoy my own company!
