Oh hey! 👋

I’m Lauren, 36, and I’m on the hunt for a room or someone to team up with in the Eastern Suburbs for 6 months + ideally longer.

I’ve called Maroubra Beach home for the last 6 years, but sadly our apartment block has recently been sold to an affordable housing provider, so we’ve all been asked to move on 😑
I’m very sad to leave but hopefully it means finding an even better home (and flatmate!)

I’ve got pretty much everything needed to furnish an entire apartment, fridge, washing machine, stunning sofa etc. so if you’re looking to team up, we’re already off to a pretty good start!

I work full time for a healthcare tech company in the city. I’m in the office 4 days a week and work from home on Wednesdays.

I’m happiest anywhere near the ocean and love getting out and about when I’m not working.
I find it easy to make friends having moved around a lot in my life (originally from South Africa).

I cook a 10/10 spag bol, know my way around a good glass of wine 🍷

For me, the ideal flatmate is someone who feels more like a friend than just a person I split the rent with. I’d love to find a home where we can have a laugh, share the occasional dinner or beach day, and actually enjoy living together. I’m looking for someone who is clean, respectful and easygoing, but I’m definitely not expecting us to be joined at the hip 😅 we’ll both have our own lives and space too! 😊
