How are you? My name is Elisa. I am an Italian teacher who is moving here to Melbourne at the end of the month.

I came to Australia a year and a half ago as an Italian Assistant Teacher, thanks to a postgraduate program, and I have lived here in Melbourne. I can provide references from my former landlord/ workplace if you need them.

I'll tell you a little bit about me. I have been living in shared houses since 2015, both in Italy, France, and Australia. I obtained a bachelor's degree in literature in Italy (yes, I am a book nerd). For me, it is very important to keep the house tidy and to create a good, relaxed, and safe atmosphere for everyone. I am a very sociable person: I love to chat, to laugh, and to spend time with people. In more than 10 years, I have never had major issues with my housemates, because I do not like conflicts in the house. I cook tons of Italian food, and I'm more than happy to share it with you.

Compatible people:
I love relaxed but clean people. I am compatible with people who do not mind inviting friends over and who love to organize dinners (with limits, like no 24/7). I get along with people who do not like drama in the house, and if there are any problems, they can communicate them in a polite and respectful way.

Food sharing and furniture:
I am used to arranging my own food, BUT I am more than happy to cook for you. I love cooking! I am omnivorous, but I respect those who have a different diet from mine; no problem at all. I would prefer to live in a fully furnished house, so I do not have to buy my own bed, wardrobe, etc..

Animals:
I love animals, so I would not mind living with them (a part from spiders :( ), with the condition that the owner has to look out for them (cleaning-wise).
