Hello I'm Piete, Just turned 30 last Feb, and have decided to move back home to be closer to family after 11 or so years of wondering around Australia aimlessly. I have always worked in construction but don't condemn me as a result. I'm a well spoken intelligent polite individual with a variety of interests. I play guitar and sing (but quite well...and not that often;), i don't drink very often (maybe once a month) train every night after work and almost never watch t.v... probably listen to an unhealthy amount of podcasts though. Usually out the door by six am, then back for a bit after 4pm then out the door again till after training...some time after 6. I'm also studying (cert IV in youth work). I'm clean without being psychotic, healthy without being judgemental, intelligent without being pretentious, social but happy in my own company, happy without being obnoxious, love a one on one chat but tend to listen more in groups, and lead my own life. Not sure if I fit the bill but hope to hear from you;)
My boyfriend Albert and I are moving back to Melbourne end of September after living in Margaret River and touring the West Coast for one year and a bit. We are looking for a share-house with like-minded people. We are both very clean and highly appreciate a clean, cosy place to come home to. We enjoy spending time with our roommates but also value our private time. I studied Concept- and Product Design in Switzerland but work as a happiness deliverer for a shoe brand. Albert is a full-time musician and does some part-time work. We both enjoy music, Yoga, trips to the coast, surfing, good conversations and a good glass of wine with some cheese ;)
A little about me, I'm 26, I studied history and politics at Uni and I love having a chat over a few beers. I currently work part time at Melbourne airport while I'm looking for something full time. I've share housed for the past few years and I'm a quiet and clean person. I really like to cook and bake, and I've previously made cronuts :) Improv comedy is another hobby of mine and I'm part of a team that performs regularly. Cheers, Peter
Hi! I’m looking for a place for me and my Great Dane, Winnie. I’m working in comms in the CBD and am looking for a place we can move into, as we’re staying with friends right now and she needs a nice secure yard where she can be safe while I’m at work. I’m very chill, easy to get along with, tidy, I don’t make a lot of noise, and like to keep to myself most of the time. I like country music, watching Netflix, and finding fun things to do with my dog. I’m not much of a partier anymore but I don’t mind a quiet drink. My biggest flaw as a housemate is probably that I smoke (outside only), though I am very considerate about it. The most important thing to know about what I am looking for in a home is that I have a 1.5 year old female Great Dane named Winnie, who is like my shadow, and she needs to be able to sleep in my room, and have a back yard with a decent fence (1.5m or taller) where she can hang out with her toys when I work. Her vice is that she likes to escape. She’s toilet trained and has a great nature - she will absolutely steal your heart - but she won’t follow commands unless she knows you have a treat in your hand. She has never destroyed or damaged anything that is not explicitly given to her though. I would love for Winnie to have a doggo friend to keep her company during the day. Winnie has lived with three German shepherds, a kelpie, two cats, two horses, and a snake, and met lots of other dogs at the park and who belong to friends. Please contact me for further info!
Hi I’m Becca and I am newly the proud owner of a working holiday visa. I enjoy listening to Paul Simon’s Graceland album and aimlessly walking around new parts of the city. Sometimes both at the same time. My days consist of getting paid to watch people’s kids, drinking various beverages and doing puzzles. I’ve spent the last 4 years in share houses enjoying house dinners, drinking, and general hangouts. I’m hoping to find the same type of cozy, casual place to call home while I’m living in Melbourne.
I am an English working holiday maker. I have been living in Australia for 2 years now. I've been in Melbourne since January 2018. I'm a sociable and polite young man. I love a good chat and to relax, usually by watching Netflix. I work full time in a Butcher shop in Fitzroy and leave Melbourne in mid November.
My main passions are writing and travelling and I intend to travel the world over the next few years, writing and publishing my work. I am always down for an adventure and explore nature often. Spirituality is an integral part of my life and often features in my written work. I spend the rest of my time writing, reading, meditating, creating fun stuff and just generally having a fabulous time on our beautiful planet. I can also cook delicious vegan meals and accompany you on trips into nature. Having someone who follows a similar lifestyle to me is important. I would like to live with fellow vegans/vegetarians and people who are passionate about their purpose, whatever it may be. Shoot me a message if you’re interested :)
Hi! My name is Rick, a student from the Netherlands heading to Melbourne to do an internship at University of Melbourne for three months. I'm used to living with fellow students and very much prefer to do so in Melbourne too. I'm easy going and can be tidy too. I like to hang out with friends and grab a beer or play a game, to sport (mountainbike) and I am planning to do some trips while in Australia. Really looking forward to coming to Melbourne! I'm fine with sharing a room. I will arrive in Melbourne at 2nd of October. Feel free to contact me if you would like to team up or if you are looking for a new roommate!
I am looking forward to finding my next accommodation, a kind home with friendly people. I am a friendly, quiet lifestyle person who enjoys working with people in customer service and am working towards selling my hand arts. I am transitioning to study in the future. Starting with self study to catch up on previous study I need to brush up on, then back to uni to further study science. My interests vary from movies and books, day walks in nature, heading into city to explore art/food and relaxing gardens, drawing/painting small works. Am thinking of getting a bicycle, explore the bike paths of Melbourne. Look forward to meeting my new housemates :o)

Just started my second year visa and plan on spending it in Melbourne! Originally from England but have spent the past year travelling Australia. Have got my self a job working in a bar in Fitzroy. Friendly, sociable and easy going character. Love socialing over a couple drinks but also good at respecting people’s space. Main interests include music, films and football! (the English kind..)
We are both very friendly, clean and easygoing, we a moving back to Melbourne as I am starting a new job October 1st. Brad works as a nurse and also travels frequently as a professional musician. Thoughtful, warm-hearted, polite. We are a couple, Dale's from Byron and Amy's from Korea. We have been together for 4 years and have decided to make the move to Melbourne for a new adventure. We are simple, clean, and tidy. We keep to ourselves and also enjoy meeting new people and good times.
Hello! I am Alexander from Nürnberg in Germany and I am doing a PhD-course in cancer-research at Monash University. I consider myself very tidy, I am a non-smoker and love animals. So I have no problems, if anyone in the flat should own (quite normal) pets. I have a high workload during the week and spend my weekends in Torquay and Barwon Heads. So no worries about me hanging around all day or partying all night. Other hobbies of mine are outdoor activities like mountain biking and camping, as well as brewing beer (does not smell at all). So don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail or skype, in case you should be interested and have any further questions! Thanks a lot in advance and maybe we will share a flat one day! Alex
Hi! As a couple we’re looking for a room! We met each other during traveling. I’m (Tess) Dutch and Callum is English. We’re both looking for a job in Melbourne (hospitality/retail). I love food and like to spend some hours in the kitchen. Callum is a musician. He plays guitar, sings and writes his own music. We’re both very easy going and interested in Melbourne’s music scene. We like to go to gigs, drink some beers or have an easy night at home and watch a movie or play cards. We’re friendly, flexible, chatty, tidy, cozy and like to do things together with our flatmates!
I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
Pleasure to meet you, future roomie! I'm a former materials engineer from the USA and current ESL teacher on a 1-year work visa in Oz. I love travel, fitness, language, learning new things, and meeting new people. Ideally, looking for a houseshare with 3-4 outgoing folks who aren't afraid to make plans and help me stay busy. Indie music, cheesy humor, cheesy cooking, occasional house parties, and eccentrics are a big plus. Cigarettes and cats are a big minus (due to allergies). My budget caps out around $250 (although less is always welcome), and I'm hoping wherever I stay is near enough to bike to the CBD...so Inner East, Inner North, Inner West, and St. Kilda areas are all on the table (in rough order of preference). I'm currently in the CBD and hoping to move within the next week. If this all sounds good to you, DM me for a meetup, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
I'm an independent but sociable guy. Big sense of humour but very respectful of others' space. I've lived in a shared space for 35 years. Prefer quiet but sociable company. I'm comfortable with most people. Must be non-smokers. I'm cool with younger company. I'm a creative. Singer, composer/musician. Like to share with fellow creatives.
Hi! I'm Anna, I'm a 30 year old Melburnian, returning home. I have been living on the French coast for the last six months, honing my surfing skills, taking photos, working on writing projects and exploring this beautiful area of the world. I have a short stint of bingeing on art in Paris before returning home on the 16th of October, ready to get back into the swing of city life. I am very passionate about literature, art, design, music, architecture and existing in this world sustainably. I'm also a big fan of being active, getting out and about and getting involved in different sports or just chilling out with a yoga session. I'm a curious human and big traveller and have done a lot of hopping around the world, experiencing different cultures. Generally, I'm pretty busy with work, friends, hobbies and projects, so if i'm home, I just like to catch up on some reading and do my own thing but definitely won't say no to sharing a glass of wine or a dinner and always up for a chat. I am very well share-house trained, very respectful of personal space and property. Over the years I have shared many beautiful homes with awesome people who have grown into long term friends.
