I'm very tidy and respectable. Just looking for a little place to call home while on my traveling holiday! I'm very social and outgoing, but love my personal space as well!
Hi my name is Billy and I am looking to move out sharing accommodation with authentic good energy people. By doing it this way makes it more affordable to save for future projects and other things that life has to offer, travel / down payment of own property ect... I'm full time employed in the Telco industry working long hours Mon - Fri. Prier I up held a shared rental property lease in Collingwood for over 12 years so, am completely conditioned in all that's required living with and respecting others space and there belonging, honest, responsible, reliable, clean and tidy environment is important. I'm am a big believer on having a positive outlook on life with a great sense of humour, easy going, open minded and up lifting personality balanced with enjoying my time out after long busy days quietly chilling out reading/watching what's going on around us on lap top/tv . Keeping fit and eating healthy is also a priority in my lifestyle for work and personal well being, cooking and experimenting most nights with fresh produce balanced with a cheeky beer or wine at times and sharing flavours could defiantly be on the cards... Stepping out over the weekend while socialising with family and friends checking out new bars/restaurants in a tame manner is also up my ally, so not into living in a party house. Cheers Billy : -)
Hello everyone. Currently looking for a new place to call home for myself and my fluffy feral grey feline sidekick, Earl Grey. I work part time at a theatre (can get you free tickets!!) and part time as a semi-pro freelance composer and musician. I am well house trained as although I am fairly young I have been living in sharehouses since the age of 17 in a variety of setups and environments. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420 friendly, and very open and caring. I keep myself pretty busy between work and musical commitments, but I am always down to share a meal and or a glass of wine together. I am not looking for a party house, and I really enjoy my downtime while also being quite social. I play the piano alot (I am told it is pleasant) so it's best if you like music. Naturally a clean person by nature and quite enjoy doing chores. Happy to subscribe to a cleaning roster but also more than capable of making a house work without one. So I am essentially looking for some nice, friendly people to live with and hang out with, in a house that is not too far from the city by public transport. A garden would be a bonus too as I have some plants and my cat likes to frolic amongst flowers haha. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I'm 24 years old, British/ Irish university graduate looking to live and work in Melbourne. I'm creative, sociable and enjoy cooking and baking. I currently work full time in a cheese shop called Milk the Cow on Lygon street. I have recently moved here from living in London where I was doing design internships and baking/ barista-ing in a cafe. I also regularly get freelance graphic design jobs. I like to eat healthily and go to the gym, which clashes somewhat with my insatiable appetite for going out for food and my ability to drink copious amounts of wine with friends at the weekend. It's all about finding a happy balance for me... someone needs to invent a pizza which makes you lose weight.... I've lived in shared houses since starting Uni in 2012 so I'm no stranger to the ins and outs of living away from home.. washing up/ fridge politics/ cleaning the toilet etc. I'm a clean person but also rather laid back. I like to keep communal areas nice so it's pleasant for everyone. I don't play loud music! (but if you also love hip hop then we can make an arrangement!) I love to cook (I'm quiiiiite gooood, if I do say so myself) so if you're keen, sharing meals is always nice. pretty flexible on the move in date, I'm currently living in Prahran but I want to move closer to where i work in Carlton, but I'd rather be in a situation that I'm 100% comfortable with instead of rushing into anything.
We are a young Irish couple recently moved to Melbourne looking for somewhere within 20 minutes of the city. We are both very easy going and relaxed and enjoy meeting friends at the weekend so are often out. Looking for a house or apartment with 2-4 roommates but are not really fussy.
I'm 25 and work full time as a town planner in the inner city. I love the outdoors, play footy for the renegade pub football league (AFL), enjoy cooking and gardening and prefer Netflix to commercial TV (Broad City, Vikings). I love a beer, am good at fixing things and am a great listener when drama is happening in your life. I'm a bit of a nerd, am teaching myself how to make clothes (slow process) and enjoy photography. I'm tidy and clean, I'm an adult about chores and know how to share a house respectfully 😊 I've been renting in Melbourne for about 7 years now and want to live in my next house for at least 12 months. I've been Kensington for 2 years and am coming up to the end of my lease. I was in my Carlton house for two years before that. I've got a steady income and can pay rent and bills on time. I've also got some furniture / housewares / cook books which I'm happy to bring or put in storage. I also have some plants which I'd love to keep with me! I'm looking for a "home" and not a "place to sleep". Keen to be mates with my housemates instead of ships in the night but also respectful of privacy. I'm not into drugs. If you think you'd like to meet me / would make a great housemate let me know 🙂 Cheers, G
Hey future homies! I'm a friendly, fun 27 year old who works full time as a professional in the city. My housemates are relocating for work, so I'm on the look out for a new place to call home. I like to socialise and enjoy a good laugh and the company of others. I love travelling and heading out for brunch or drinks on the weekends. I’m a well-seasoned housemate, having lived in share houses and on res for many years. I’m clean, trustworthy and respectful of privacy. Basically I'm looking for a normal, happy home environment with friends, rather than a place to share rent. I also have an adorable puppy that would be happy to make a fluffy addition to the house (even if just for visits), but not at all a deal breaker. Please get in touch if I sound like the right fit for your home :)
Moving to Melbourne around June to look for full-time work as an Exercise Physiologist (similar to a physiotherapist). I enjoy rock climbing (indoors and outdoors), being outdoors and general activities outdoors (bushwalks, slacklining, snorkelling) aswell as a few Friday drinks to relax and prepare for the weekend. I am a big fan of watching all sports. I am also very sociable, open-minded, neat & tidy and really really looking forward to making new friends in a new city!
I am clean, respectful, responsible, and friendly. I spend my time rock climbing, doing yoga, cooking, and hanging out with friends. I eat healthy and don't really party, but I love being social and having a good time. I lived in Melbourne for about 8 months in 2010, so I'm familiar with the culture and looking forward to coming back! I'm from Richmond, VA, in the States, but have spent about three years working, living, and traveling abroad. I am not arriving in Melbourne until June, but my plan is to spend about three months working and and saving money living in Melbourne, and then travel to the Grampians, Arapiles, Tasmania, Sydney, and the Blue Mountains.
I'm a 34 year old single, non-smoking health professional, moving back to Melbourne in late April to start a full time M-F job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer somewhere quiet and relaxed to come home to during the week. I’m a bit more social on weekends, but am not a party animal by any stretch. I'm hoping to live with other single people (not couples) with a similar mentality. I like to be fairly independent, but also like to live with somebody I can have a chat with and occasionally share a meal with. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room close to St Vincent's Hospital, with a parking space/permit. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of others and their space/possessions. I always pay rent/bills on time, and am not tight with money!
Hi my name is Anita. I am in my fourth year studying Architecture, work in social research and love yoga, travelling and cooking. I'm looking for a single room in a share house or a 1 bed flat/studio that is close to public transport.
So long as my flatmates are respectful, do their fair share chores I am happy to live with anyone. I like getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. My wishlist for a house includes genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. BONUS: My mother has a Costco membership and I have her spare card so we can use it to buy toilet paper in bulk.
Hi Guys, I've been in a 4 bedroom terrace house in Carlton North for the last 6 years, however sadly the house is disbanding as the landlord wants to take the place back so am now on the search. While keeping my options open am still mainly looking in Carlton North because I think the area is pretty great. So I guess a bit about me... I'm currently working as a DevOps Engineer (an IT guy) at a tech company in town. Am originally from Adelaide, however have been in Melbourne the last 6 years and did a few years in Perth and the UK before that. Am really into wine/beer/coffee, love jazz and get to quite a few gigs, and admittedly like to watch a bit of cricket and football. Have also taken up skiing while being in Melbourne and just about to head off on a Japan snow trip which I'm really looking forward to. Anyway if I look like I may be a good fit for a room you're looking to fill please let me know! Cheers, Mike
Hey! I'm a laid-back sort of guy who has his own space & thing going on but very much appreciate living in a share house that has some sort of family-vibe to it. I love all things adventure - surfing, camping, hiking, travel, I love all things music - gigs, fesitvals, doofs & backyard jams I love all things people - seeing old friends and making new ones I'm looking to live with people who share similar values and around my age (young professionals/older students). If you're after a clean, social, respectful housemate who keeps active and is always up for a laugh, shoot us a message! Big love.
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. And food. And overseas trips. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hey Guys, Im looking for a permanent home, where I can be myself and share my time with the people I live, I said 6 months but can be much more if we are compatible. Me, I'm very sociable and generally like to be around people and get a drink from just a coffee to hard alcohol (vodka or Gin are my poisons haha) just having a crazy conversation about whatever, sex, boyfriends, girls, existence, psychology, reason of the universe and everything in between. Enjoy to be outside specially in this weather, picnic sesh is obligatory also go to the movies or just go to play pool or my guilty pleasure board games (I'm a big NERD) but I really enjoy playing while drinking a beer or something, I'm a fun junkkie (meaning that I get high with fun not just a fun guy that shoots itself haha) but also love to be alone and my private time is essential. I like to read, sketch or write and if you are a creative I would really like to do a small project with you, but I also know how to relax just watching movies and cooking dinner is part of my chill therapy, happy to cook for you anytime. Not so crazy about clubbing I actually prefer house drinks or parties. Respect, Empathy and Communication for me this three are essential qualities I like from people, that people can find in me. Respect from my own space to my things etc also my time and effort and Honesty. Empathy to feel and understand what people is going through and care of what they need. Communication is just the most important, we don't need to love each other just tell me what's bothering you and we can find a solution. trust me I will tell you and we don't need to be angry to be sincere.
Hey! Luke here. I'm 24, working full time and I'm looking for something long term in an established, friendly share house. I’m a friendly, outgoing guy who works full time in tourism marketing for Melbourne/Victoria. I'm a fan of travelling, eating/cooking, socialising, music and irregular trips to the gym. I love all things food, and bear the basic skills needed to whip up a weeknight dish to share. I wouldn’t say no to a few drinks after work, a night out dancing or some 30 Rock re-runs on the couch, but I’m also respectful of privacy and enjoy my own company. I consider myself to be very clean, independent and organised. I’ve spent time abroad experiencing the shared environment. I don’t own a lot of furniture other than bedroom stuff, but will gladly contribute/chip in if needed. If you’re after a friendly, easy-going housemate who brings both pasta and conversation to the table, get in touch!
Young professional moving back to Melbourne after almost 4 tears in Sydney. Down to earth and open-minded. Enjoy life and all it has to offer, so my interests are broad. Have lived in share-housing for a few years now and with a variety of housemates - from couples to mates, from younger and same age and both males and females. So I've got a good handle on how to live harmoniously with others. I keep both my space and the common areas clean and tidy, and very respectful of other housemates space and privacy. I am a sociable person however, so I'd want to live with others that like to have a chat or hangout from time to time. Not one for bringing the "party" back to the house, but am ok for the occasional gathering or dinner if the other housemates choose to. I'm into a healthy lifestyle (but not fanatical), love live music and exploring both the city and nature. If I'm not out for a run or catching up with friends, you can find me reading a book or having a cheeky vino on the couch/balcony.
I work full-time Monday to Friday as a Project Manager. In my spare time I like to visit the art galleries, theatre, watch bands, hang out with friends, go to the gym, I'm always putting my hand up to do stuff or try new things. I also sometimes like to just do stuff on my own. I've been living in Melbourne for about 4 years now, have traveled a fair bit, am from Australia. Looking for a new home & miss the social elements of living with people.
I'm very respectful of people and their property, super clean! I enjoy socialising with others a good sense of humour, but do like some personal time and space. I enjoy photography / film production and most creative outlets, I'm very reliable and trustworthy! If anyone would like to meet up to make sure we are compatible to live with don't hesitate to get in contact Thanks, take care! Ryan Kennedy
I am a fun, bubbly 22 year old from New Zealand, looking for accommodation in Melbourne. As a flatmate I am a clean, conscientious, and friendly. My interests include reading, netflix, science, and pretty much anything outdoors. I am always keeping myself busy with something which is the way I like it. I love to travel and for the last year I have been travelling Africa and parts of North America. Now however I am looking for a flat where I can be comfortable for a significant amount of time. I will be undertaking a PhD (in conservation ecology) at the University of Melbourne so I will be around for a while! If you think we would get along and you could envision sharing laughs over a beer or wine as flatmates please message me :)
I'm originally from the UK. I've lived in Brunswick for the last year. My lease is up on the 8th April so looking for somewhere as my friend that I live with is moving back to the UK. I'm very clean and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym but am not a fitness freak. I enjoy socialising but also enjoy my own space. I work full time but am just about to start studying I will continue to work. I'm available pretty much immediately. I'm very easy going and get on with most people well and there's not much that fazes me.
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're pretty tolerant and easy going. Neither of us smoke.
