I'm a Finnish male from; Helsinki, moving Down Under, to work as a carpenter in Brunswick East. My journey begins: 1st of November, in the gorgeous city of; Melbourne! - Easy going, approachable, reliable, friendly, outgoing, good sense of humour, respectful, handyman around the house, coffee lover, music enthusiast, snowboarder, and just a great bloke. I've lived in: New York, London, around Europe, India, Nepal and travelled extensively around the world. Whilst living abroad, I've lived with many people and have a great rapport amongst all past house mates. I'm happy to live among people from all walks of life.
We are a couple from Ireland and are moving to Melbourne in October for at least 2 years. We are sociable, easy going, fun loving, interesting people and we are easy to live with. We get up early and work hard (we are both Dentists) but also like going places and doing cultural things. We are active people and like gymming, CrossFit, running, footy, yoga, surfing, snowboarding/skiing. We also like to eat healthily and love coffee! We do have many other interests also, watching films, reading and we have travelled all around the world making friends with people from all backgrounds. We also love to have a drink (or 10) at the weekend or when we have time off and would hope to make friends with the people we like with and not just share a house! We've come to Melbourne to experience a new city and meet some new people. Looking forward to hearing back from you! Rebecca + Joseph
Hi there! My name is Rick, a student from the Netherlands heading to Melbourne to do an internship at University of Melbourne for three months. I'm used to living with fellow students and very much prefer to do so in Melbourne too. I'm easy going and can be tidy too. I like to hang out with friends and grab a beer or play a game, to sport (mountainbike) and I am planning to do some trips while in Australia. Really looking forward to coming to Melbourne! I'm fine with sharing a room. I will arrive in Melbourne at 2nd of October. Feel free to contact me if you would like to team up or if you are looking for a new roommate!
We’re both really relaxed respectful and clean individuals, hoping to be working full time in the process of securing jobs before we come over in late November. Enjoy socialising and also having some time to ourselves, looking to enjoy around 5-6 months in Melbourne and see as much as possible.
I am a 27 year old osteopath. I enjoy living with people I can have a chat to when we're all home but enjoy my own space when I'm in my room! I am generally out and about for work and catching up with friends but am looking for for a quite home with non smokers :-) I have a washing machine to bring with me and am hoping to find somewhere close to public transport.
We are both very friendly, clean and easygoing, we a moving back to Melbourne as I am starting a new job October 1st. Brad works as a nurse and also travels frequently as a professional musician. We are both very respectful of other housemates and have excellent references from our previous rentals / room mates. Looking for something ideally in Fitzroy North with a back yard :)
Hi there. I work in Fitzroy as a doctor. Looking for a friendly home locally. Up for a chat over a cuppa or wine. Enjoy gigs, having friends over, cooking, being outdoors and active. I'm organised with paying rent, bills, no fuss. I like things clean and relaxed.
Three girls (2 Canadian and 1 Finnish) who have just moved to Melbourne from other parts of Australia and are looking for a flat. We are fun outgoing individuals who all will be working full time and enjoy cooking and having a glass of wine in the evenings. We would prefer all to have our own rooms but would be willing to share rooms if possible.
I'm a Screen and Media student, who in my downtime can be found relaxing playing video games, watching films or other similarly laid back activities. My interests are fashion, design, and digital media. I'm friendly and I'll always respect your privacy, you can talk to me about anything or nothing at all.
Kia ora! (that's hello in NZ Maori) Hi I am Daniel, I am 29 and have recently just decided to move to Australia from New Zealand. I have worked as an auditor with an accounting firm for the past 5 years but have taken a job in Melbourne in the finance department of a corporate. My job in Melbourne is a full time 9-5. I love to workout, and also love to settle down to watch a good movie when I can or hangout. I only know a few people in Melbourne, so I am hoping to meet a nice flatmate and also get to discover why Melbourne is such an amazing city.
Hi I'm Lockie, I'm 24 and I work full time as an electrician based mostly in the city/airport. I work pretty normal hours, typically starting around 7-8am and finishing around 3pm. But don't worry I'm really quiet when leaving the house. During the week I usually like to chill at home. Nerdier than you might expect. Nights at home are usually spent watching some sort of Sci Fi/TV, games or reading. That being said, doesn't take much to convince me to join mid week drinks/dinner. I do try and visit the gym so I can be out of the house a bit at times. Weekends are spent usually out with friends either going to bars or just hanging out. With the weather clearing up a bit I do like to get outdoors a bit and have an itch to start exploring more, whether that be going for a road trip, hike or camping. Pet friendly, especially with cats. I love music so I'll often be caught with my headphones in or playing tunes through speakers but I do respect noise levels. If you're musically gifted, even better. I do my best to keep a clean house, consequence of being raised by two massive clean freaks. That being said I'm not gonna be starting a war over some dirty dishes. I'm also happy to help around the house where I can and make it feel like more of a home. I pay all my bills/rent on time and also happy to pitch in for the basics. Lastly, I do have a lot of respect for people's privacy and giving them the space they need in the house. I also believe that good communication is key to thriving so don't be afraid to bring up any problems/issues with me. End of the day, I'd like for us to be friends, not just roommates.

My name is Craig and looking to venture out on my own for the first time. I've lived out of home for a few years now with a partner but that has come to an end so looking for somewhere new! I am a student, studying primary school teaching, and i work part-time at a primary school as an integration aide. I am originally from the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, love sport, travelling, movies and have a very close circle of friends. I have options to move back out east but would rather stay near the city as there is so much more to do!
Hi there! This is Guncel. I am a 37 years old electrical engineer from Turkey who recently moved to Melbourne. Looking for a place to stay for 3 to 4 months starting October 12. I am quite tidy and a very considerate person.
New to Melbourne and looking for a great place to live and some great housemates! I'm 27, an English teacher originally from Wales but have lived in both Canada and Spain. I'll be working full time as of the end of September. I prefer to spend my weekends exploring the city or doing something new. I'm pretty outgoing, into the outdoors, snowboarding and canoeing. I'm also a complete foodie who loves cooking for other people and sharing a good bottle of red! Looking for a laid back house to call home 😊
Hey Everyone! I’m Thu ('two') a freelance production manager - I make commercials! I'm originally from Adelaide, but have come to Melbourne to take on some freelance projects with a great production company in Collingwood, and I'm looking for some short term accomodation, preferably with relatively tidy, chilled out legends! After spending a few weeks here, I've decided that I would like to ideally live about a max 40/45min walk distance to my office (just off Smith St and Langridge St) so that I can save on public transport costs. If you have a place that fits that bill let's get in touch! Available to move as soon as possible :) Looking to stay in Melbourne until mid/ late November - very happy to be flexible with dates!
Hi! As a couple we’re looking for a room! We met each other during traveling. I’m (Tess) Dutch and Callum is English. We’re both looking for a job in Melbourne (hospitality/retail). I love food and like to spend some hours in the kitchen. Callum is a musician. He plays guitar, sings and writes his own music. We’re both very easy going and interested in Melbourne’s music scene. We like to go to gigs, drink some beers or have an easy night at home and watch a movie or play cards. We’re friendly, flexible, chatty, tidy, cozy and like to do things together your our flatmates!
I'm small, sassy and sparkly (that's what my dating profile says, anyway). I work 4 days a week in a government contact centre while completing a Master in Publishing and Communications. I love books! Talk books to me. I have a huge collection that I love to share around with friends and I love anything book-related. I practise yoga at home most days. I've also recently got into running and try to do semi-regular races, with my first 10k coming up in December. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and I really value my health and fitness in general :) I also love dogs (especially greyhounds), Netflix, dumplings and red wine. I'm looking for a cosy home with a decent-sized bedroom so I can practise yoga in the mornings. I work in the city and study in Parkville so being central is important to me - I don't have a car so want to be close to a train station ideally. I'm pretty busy and don't spend all that much time at home but when I do I'll probably be in my room or chilling on the couch with a book/Netflix, cooking up something tasty or having a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. I like my home to be a relaxing space. I love to get dressed up, go out and have a crazy time but I don't like to bring the party home with me, so I'm not looking for a party house. I also value my alone time a whole lot and personal space is important to me. I've lived in sharehouses all my adult life so I know the drill. I'm tidy and quite clean, especially if there's some kind of roster in place. I like a clean kitchen and neat communal spaces. I've lived in my current place for 3+ years and I love it but I'm struggling to afford it at the moment so looking for something quite a bit cheaper. Hit me up if you think I'd work for your home!
Hi there, This is a Spaniard, who has been living in Melbourne for four years, looking for a new place to call home. During the last two years, I am living in the CBD, however, I´m missing the inner suburbs of this beautiful city so, I have decided to enjoy the city just during work-time. The majority of my time is spent on work (marketing, consulting and eventually cocktails makers) and University (MBA & PM). In my free time, I love to keep me fit and socializing. At home, extremely clean and respectful. When I have time, I love to enjoy outdoors (unfortunately no too much time at the moment but summer is just coming up, excited!) More than happy sharing nice dinners or drinks with you all and, why of course, exchange some yummy food recipes Seeking for a friendly atmosphere and a nice place for living. Really easy-going person.
Hey Guys, Myself 26 and my 6 month old puppy Rufus are looking for a new home! Its pretty important to us both that we can set up shop with some life affirming, open individually amazing people and hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. I am currently working as a Project Coordinator x Electrical estimator (Mon-Fri) However, I think there is way more to life than just work I consider myself to be a pretty chilled out person, down to earth, friendly and trying my best to be a peaceful warrior but you can be the judge of that. I spend a lot of time adventuring outside of the city and into nature, exploring the unbeaten track or searching for a new camping spot. Outside of my adventures I am often with my brother or sister who are my 2 of best friends, exercising or hanging out with friends. I have a young puppy named Rufus who is by my side outside of my work life. Rufus is a full time cuddle enthusiast and is not bound to any days off (you have been warned) He has an unnaturally quiet and gentle temperament and would be excited to share time with you also! His ideal situation is sitting next to the humans in life having a nap. He likes other dogs very much and is responding very well to training and will grow into a true gentleman. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit otherwise good luck with the hunt! :) Sam & Rufus
Hello! I'm Flo, from Scotland and Michael is from Perth, W.A. We are looking for a fun and friendly new share house. We are vegan, ethically minded folk who have 3 adorable pet rats so our new home must be rattie friendly. We're happy, mindful, laid back, respectful people. We love cleaning, sometimes we play rock paper scissors to see who gets to do the dishes, really. Also we are pretty dedicated dumpster dive masters so there's often plenty of savaged food up for grabs! I really like plants, gardening, music, and a good old chill sesh, Michael is a keen photographer, cyclist and d.i.y'er. Both of us enjoy cooking and spend a fair bit of time creating taste sensations in the kitchen, totally up for sharing meals now and again. We both work full time day jobs and enjoy getting out amongst nature for camping trips when we can. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to know anything more.
We are a young international couple, Melissa German/English and Mike Aussie/English, that have decided to relocate to Melbourne after graduating uni. We’re looking to move into a relatively quiet home with likeminded people/couples. We’re both very outdoorsy and are interested in exploring the city as well as the surrounding nature. Ideally we would want to rent for our first year or so in Melbourne while we settle into the city and our jobs.
