We're looking for a place to call our own while we work at La Trobe University as an intern for our Forensic Science degree. We're originally from Holland, but traveling has always been second nature to us. We like our privacy, but do enjoy hanging with friends or going out for some fun activities (be it drinking at a bar, or going diving). We both do appreciate cleanliness, and do our best to keep a tidy room. Otherwise we're pretty laid back, enjoy reading books and walking dogs (P.S. If you have a dog, yes please!) and enjoy cooking as well as traveling. The ideal living situation for us would be 2 rooms in the same house/apartment, as soon as possible!
Hey guys, I am looking for a room ( it's fine without bed, I got one ) or I don't mind share room with others. Please don't too far to La trobe university cause I study in there and I don't have car. I'm friendly to pets ( except spider or snake ). I also hope that you are LGBT friendly. I'm from China. I have 5 years share house experience in Melbourne. I know how to keep privacy and respect my all housemate. I do like to help to do homework for our house, I pay rent or bill on time. I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. I don't smoke or drug (but I don't mind if my housemate they do). I don't mind to hang out with my housemate, like cinema night or short trip. I love cooking at home. I'd like to share Chinese food with my housemate if they like Chinese food as well, haha. I always keep my room clean and tidy. Sometimes I will just stay in my room or hang out with my friends. I'd like to chat with new mate and learn new culture or language from them :) I like playing PC game or Xbox, or watching Netflix while I rest at home. I may go for inspection but I can't move immediately. I need negotiate with my real state first. If you want to know more or have any questions, feel free to ask. Don't hesitant and ask me. Much appreciated for your reading. Kind regards, Alex
Hello everyone. My name is Jay. I recently moved back to Melbourne after staying with my parents in Country Vic. The house I'm currently in is up for sale and I am looking to move again. I need to move by the 6th of September. I'm on Centrelink and have a part-time paid volunteer role so there's no need to worry about rent or bills. I'm currently looking for another part-time or full-time job and preparing to study. Before I moved back with the parents I was living in Pakenham (on a lease) for 2 years while I was working as a firefighter and a security officer. I am quiet and keep to myself often. My partner and I mostly just watch movies in the bedroom. I will come out for food, movies or drinks if invited. I'm quirky like that. :) I'm perfectly house trained and don't make much of a mess anyway. I'm not too fussed about the room so long as I can fit a queen bed, a desk and somewhere for my clothes. I'm not allergic to any animals and if your dog needs a walk I'm happy to do it. I do smoke but only outside and not very often. I mostly smoke at work. so that's me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you soon!
I work 25-30 hours a week in Doncaster. I'm a part time student at La Trobe Uni. 29 years old, non-smoker. I am fairly quiet, I enjoy video games, movies, rock gigs, playing chess and training taekwondo. Looking for somewhere that I can easily get to work and uni. I have my own bedroom furniture. I have a girlfriend who I spend weekends with and who would stay with me a few nights a week.
We are two professional Biologists, tidy, clean and useful around a house! Respectful of other peoples spaces but we are friendly, always happy to chat and share the occasional meal! We don't organise parties and would prefer a quiet place. We both enjoy getting out for a run or a hike and are pretty busy in general. Our length of stay is flexible. We are moving from NZ for work at La Trobe uni and will be free to view rooms from 15/8, and able to move in on the 27th August. I am a kiwi, joining my partner for full time work in Melbourne. I like to cook, and dabble in art and music. I try to be environmentally conscious, but, I definitely eat meat! Bacon is too delicious. I’m not a drinker as such but will have a glass of wine or beer with dinner on occasion. I love animals and enjoy chatting to people! Francesco is originally from Italy (north) but has lived in NZ for the past 4 years. He has a job as an entomologist (insects) at La Trobe uni. He is passionate about coffee and makes a good pizza. He also loves animals. He is a very organised person and great to have around a house! We both have rental references and have shared happily with others both independently and as a couple. Cheers!
I'm a 20 year old art student, working part time in hospitality. I'm quite easy going and love to have fun whether it be going out drinking and dancing or staying in watching movies and playing board games. I'd like to live in a home where we're not just roommates but friends! I like cooking and would love to have sit down dinners together now and again. I can also be a bit shy and timid though and like my alone time :p I'm looking to move out sometime in September definitely before the 20th.
We are quiet, tidy and friendly people. We are students looking for accommodation for a longer period of time as we have 1 more year of Uni to go. We are usually out of the house due to work or Uni and on holidays we like to stay in and watch movies or go out on trips (if time permits). That way you will have the house mostly to yourself. We're looking for 2 single rooms preferably or a double room.
Best thing about living with me is I’m a team player, if I’m making dinner (or lunch etc) for myself I’ll make extra for others too. I don’t smoke, only drink on occasion and sometimes I like keeping to myself. I’m clean and reliable. I work in a call centre, my hours vary but will mostly be around the 9-5 time frame. For fun, I like photography and art, going out with friends or chilling watching a movie.
Hi, I am a 29 year old Health and PE teacher. I am also studying my Masters. I am very tidy, clean and respectful. I love getting out and about and would love to find some housemates who are happy to have a chat. My 4 year old German Shepherd would need to come with me....he is super friendly and loves a cuddle. So dog friendly is a must! Regards, Sam
I am Sri Lankan and a full time PhD student at RMIT. Easy to live with and friendly. Clean and tidy. I love watching movies, cricket and also travelling. *Non-smoker
Hi, my name is Sophie, I am 23 years old and a library science student from cologne in Germany. I will be in Australia for an four months internship in this autumn. I have an accommodation for my first month but still need one from the beginning of October to the 23th of December. I might seem a little introvert and shy on the first look but I am also very open and chatty. I lived the past two years in a shared flat with 3 other people and I to sit or cook together sometime but I will also work 40h per week so that I might wanna be sometimes in only in my room. I am a clean and tidy person. I like to listen to music, to ready and to watch sitcoms and youtube. I would be very happy, if anyone might have a room for me from Beginning of October until the 23th of December.
I'm an university professor from Colombia moving to Melbourne to work for six months in research at RMIT Bundoora Campus. This is the second time I will be in Melbourne because in 2003 and 2004 I did my Masters degree at RMIT. We are friendly, honest and and quiet. We like to cook and I'm particularly specialized in BBQ's. My hobby is to build and fly remote controlled planes. We are also happy with pets.
