Hey future flatmates! I'm Max, arriving in Sydney in October and looking for a place that feels like home 🇳🇱🌊

I’ve spent the last 5 years travelling and living all over the world, which has been amazing, but I’m at the point where I’m craving the opposite of constantly moving: good people around me, familiar faces, routines, a local beach, and a house where we actually know each other.

I’m happiest when I’m outside. I surf a lot, climb, run, gym, hike, snorkel and will pretty much always be up for a spontaneous beach mission or weekend adventure. I’m also a huge animal person and will become emotionally attached to any household pet within approximately 48 hours.

I work in AI/ML and I’m moving to Sydney partly because I want to take my career in a more meaningful direction, ideally using tech for oceans, nature, biodiversity or climate.

At home I’m clean, easygoing and independent, but definitely looking for a social house. I love shared dinners, coffees, random chats, and sometimes doing things together.

Mostly just excited to build a good life in Sydney with even better people 😊
