I'm a very social, easy-going and energetic person who loves having a good time. I'm always up for grabbing a coffee somewhere, going for a walk, trying a new place or having a drink and a party with friends. I really enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, but I also love having a cosy night at home.
I'm always up for trying new things and exploring, and I'm definitely someone who brings good vibes to the house. I also love animals and have a dog back home. I'm also a good listener, so I'm always up for a chat if you need one.
I'm originally from Amsterdam, born and raised. Growing up, I traveled a lot with my parents — Thailand, other parts of Asia, and Morocco, where I actually lived for two years (I'm half Dutch, half Moroccan). At home I live with my 21-year-old brother and both my parents. I have a really active social life here in Amsterdam — you'll usually find me hanging out with friends, whether that's a drive around in the car, a terrace, or just grabbing a coffee together. I've worked a lot and had all kinds of jobs, from event management to scooping ice cream at an ice cream shop — so I've pretty much done a bit of everything when it comes to work. I also love a good walk, a nice view, and even enjoy hiking or climbing a mountain now and then. Dutch is my native language, but I also speak fluent English.
I'm looking forward to meeting some fun people, sharing a nice home and making lots of memories in Australia! This is actually a fun addition to my backpacking trip — I specifically chose to live with flatmates because I want to make new friends and learn things about Australia through and with them. I'm really looking forward to discovering everything Australia has to offer!
I'm also looking for a job in Australia, maybe something in hospitality or a little coffee shop — but I'm sure I'll have found something by the time I get there.
