Hello! I am Brazilian and I am a friendly, easy-going, tidy and responsible guy. I am moving to Melbourne in June/July to study and work part-time. I love music concerts and traveling. I also enjoy playing board games, reading books, exercising and watching TV. I am looking for friendly housemates, ideally students and professionals.
Hi, I’m Cindy, and I’m looking for a place with hopefully cool and respectful people closer to my uni. I’m a second year uni student, am pretty introverted but love a good laugh, and I love to cook and do laundry. Honestly just looking for a warm place with a big kitchen sink.
Hi, you can call me zanzan or miw I’m half Thai-Macau. I currently live in Thailand but I will move to Melbourne next month journey begin ;) I love eating so much and the spicy stuff is my favorite if anyone can offer some Thai food place I’d love that!
Hi there! I'm Michael from London, I'm moving to Melbourne in May to work as a dentist. Really enjoy live music and sports, and look forward to enjoying what Melbourne has to offer! Hoping to find a social and friendly house, I'm flexible with move in date. I'm also open to teaming up and finding a rental property. If you think we could be a match, please get in touch!
Hi I'm Marcus. I've just moved to Melbourne to work full time as a Software Developer in the city so I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm clean, quiet and domesticated. Can't cook (yet), but planning to learn. Non smoker and occasional drinker. Throughout the week I'm pretty low key and I'll probably be reading or hitting the gym after work. At the end of the day I tend to need a bit of alone time to recharge but I can be plenty social once I've had some rest. I'd love to find a place with people who I can become friends with. My preferred neighbourhoods are Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, Collingwood, Brunswick, Northcote and St Kilda. I'd like to be near transit because I'll be commuting to docklands (right by southern cross station). Near the supermarket is good too because I don't plan on driving. Looking for something ASAP. If you think I'd be a good fit for your place hit me up :)
Hi, my name is Alex and I'm 31years old. I've been living in Melbourne for the last 2 years and I love this city. I'm working in hospitality full time and I'm also studying so I keep myself busy most of the time. I love traveling, listening to music, concerts, movies and TV shows. I'm gonna stay 'down under' for at least 2 more years. I have already lived before in a sharing flat/house so there will be no problem with the basics about keeping the place clean, and the good vibes in the house. I'm really easy going, respectful and a tidy person. I can move in as soon as possible, so please let me know what you think.
Hey I'm Julia, 20 year old jewellery design and manufacture student at Melbourne’s polytechnic looking for a place to live! My course is full time so I’ll be out all day 9-5 during the week and I work in hospitality part time. I love to catch a gig on the weekend, chill with mates and paint and photograph. I am super easy going, tidy and respectful. I'm also vegetarian :) I'm looking for a room in a house with similar aged, likeminded and chill people! :)
Hi, I have moved to Melbourne from Colombia two months ago. Looking for a furnished private room. prices between 150-200 per week. Location nothing further than 30 minutes from the city. I’m friendly, clean, tidy and looking for somewhere to move in on May 13. Please PM if anyone knows of anything suitable. Thank you!
I'm a Jordanian student. Just graduated high school and on my way to university. Will start working part-time as soon as my semester starts. Not very good at describing myself but I'll give it my best shot. None-smoker, decently clean and tidy guy. My hobbies are watching movies (I'm a big movie guy) and TV shows, video games, and occasionally play football when given the opportunity. But I mostly just like to hangout with friends. I guess you can say I'm a laid back kinda guy. Looking for a nice place, preferably thats somewhat close to my university. My preferred length of stay is 3 months but if everything turns out well then I'd definitely consider extending my stay period if given the chance to do so. And just to clarify, my rent budget is $220/wk including bills. Cheers.
I am moving to Melbourne from Perth beginning of April and am looking for some sociable people to share a home with! I am transferring across for work as an Executive Assistant in professional services (9-5, Mon-Fri). I am clean, tidy and respect space. I have been in share houses for the last couple of years both overseas and here so know the drill. Looking to share a home with likeminded people that I can have a chat with but also understand quiet time, I am usually up early for the gym during the week. I love heading out for brunch and eating out in general, also partial to a few wines come the weekend but a night in with Netflix is my thing too.
Hi my name is Lyca, 24 years old! I'm from Philippines and working as a part time for now while applying for permanent job. My husband name was Josh he's from Sydney, 29 years old and working as full time. We both looking for sharing a house and for a long term. We keep the house neat and clean so looking for someone who is considerate in this regard. We keep things pretty chill, with peace and quiet and respect for each others space. Also, We like cooking, gardening and adventure. ps - It's very helpful if the bills are included in rent too. We also have Kitchen stuff for cooking and Dining, Fridge (Big), Couch (Big. and also looking to sell "Maybe") Dining Table, and Coffee Table. If you need some stuff for the house if it's unfurnished.
Looking for a place to call home! So long term stay preferable. I work in Moonee Ponds, so location is a priority (not too far away or too complicated with public transport). Positive and bubbly personality, clean and tidy, social, and respectful.
Hi Guys! I am Davy, 21, a French master student in chemistry I’ll be working full time at CSIRO Clayton as a research assistant for 4 months. During week ends I might be visiting. I’ll describe myself as someone friendly and open-minded. I love reading, walking, playing basketball. And I can sometimes be very talkative. I have had good experiences in shared houses before If you have something for me, be happy to message me 😊
Hi future flatmates! My name is Gloria and I work full time as a Communications Manager in the CBD. During the week I like the keep things pretty quiet -- dinner and wine, maybe going out to a gig or show, watch some netflix, or read a book -- and on the weekends you'll usually find me exploring on some sort of adventure. I'm looking for housemates who enjoy a chat but also like to keep to themselves, I don't mind a "party" house if everyone is respectful, I also love a house dinner night every once in a while.
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student, and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. This means that I attend university from 6-9pm, but I am extremely well practiced in the art of closing doors quietly when I arrive home! I also volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess (all board games) and debating. I am looking for two key criteria. Close to public transport and a big enough room. In addition, I am looking for a friendly home that is a good fit. I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat/house share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within a five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a (small but new) washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality than the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television, I am totally relaxed and open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the smell of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA -The room must be an actual room (not partitioned) with a door, and not sharing with others in the same room. -I do not wish to use communal laundry shared between apartments. Happy for us to both use my washing machine if you have somewhere to install it. I would prefer not to live with a couple and I think the ideal number of housemates is two others. (three housemates total) but I am flexible on this. * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent price is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). Many thanks, Lucy
I'm a pretty funny and chilled out kind of person. I mainly mind my own business but I don't want to be a stranger! I'm currently studying film and also work in the film/broadcast industry. My main occupation other than studying is doing local sports coverage as a camera operator but am also in the works of starting a broadcasting business. My main hobbies include casual games, almost anything film related, and just generally hanging out with friends. (Don't worry, I'm not the party type, more of a chill out and watch a movie, maybe some card games here and there). I'm looking for a place where the people are the main selling point. Just some nice, fun people to get along with. Something near public transport is a must because I do go to the city a lot but otherwise pretty flexible as I have all my own bedroom furniture and even my own TV which we can share :)
I've been travelling alone for 2 years around Asia and Australia, always seems to end up back in Melbourne. Feels like my second home. I'm an online typist and have a causal bar waiting job (well feels like full time as I'm given lots of hours) in the city. I'm very easy to live with, tidy and clean, love to cook for others, and got a super bubbly personality. Very social, love a few wines here and there. I love yoga, and i adore dogs. (wow i sound so basic). And also always willing to help others.
Hey! I am an open-minded, sociable and clean person who likes to travel, get to know new things or just have a good conversation. I'm from Germany and in Australia for 5 months to work full time as an engineer. Beside that I want to get to know the country, the people and the language. Therefore, I am looking for accommodation with roommates who are enthusiastic about life and like to do something together.
Hi, I am turning 24 in June. I work full time as a Marketing Coordinator for an App development Company in the CBD and I also work at a pub on Swan Steeet on the weekends to keep me busy. I love to socialise as much as I love to hibernate - I’m not really one or the other. I gym most mornings, and I’m not really the best cook. I moved out of home when I was 18 so I know how to run a household and keep things clean and tidy. I have recently separated from a 3 year relationship where we were living together. So I’m just looking for a fresh start!
Hi there future potential housemate(s), I am moving to Melbourne after living in Adelaide for the past 3 years. I am a friendly and warm person, and hope to have a good relationship with my future housemate(s). I love to cook, binge Netflix shows, explore local restaurants/cafes and am pretty keen on the footy. Whilst I'm currently unsure of my schedule, I will be working most evenings. I am well practised at being very quiet when I return home from work. I am pretty social and love a beverage but definitely not a party animal. I have quite a bit of furniture for a house, but am happy to sell/store most of it if the house is already established. Perks: - I am always up for a chat - I like to keep the house clean - I will usually have good wine floating around - I am a very fair and reliable person - I love to cook (happy to make house dinners sometimes) - Have been share housing for 6 years, so understand the need for personal space and have respect for others belongings I have just moved from a pretty great living environment with two guys, who I got along with really well, so it is important to me that I find a good fit with both the house and those currently living in it.
I'm a student who works part-time as a waitress and marketing intern and i'm looking for a place to call home for at least 4 months and then see how we go. I'm clean, I like to eat healthy and work out, I don't drink a lot and I'm not a party gal. I will probably be out of the house a lot of the time or in my room studying, but I am keen to socialise at night and on weekends (if im not working) and love to have a good chat with open minded people.
Hi potential flatmates, I am currently working as a disability support worker which I find very rewarding. I'm an easy going person who gets along with most people. I enjoy socialising with new and different people with interests different to my own. My interests include reading, AFL (Richmond), travel and music. I may be 59 but am very young at heart having many friends in their 20s and 30s. I look forward to meeting my new flatmates soon.
