Hey! My name is Joel, I'm full time professional who works in marketing. I'm a very chill guy who is always up for a laugh. I'm conscious of my health and like to stay active. Really enjoy reading in my own time as well and like to hear music. Clean, tidy and I pay bills on time.
Hi my name is Sophie. I work full time as a Digital Marketing Specialist. I'm a very social person, love having a drink and a boogie with my mates, going to festivals, meeting new people and travelling :) I'm looking for people who would enjoy watching movies/tv shows together in the lounge, or having a good old chat after work. On weekends, most of the time I'd be catching up with mates. Or if i'm not socialising, i'd be chilling out watching movies. Some days I might just want to chill by myself in my room - doesn't mean I'm grumpy, just a little tuckered out ;) Although I am an extrovert, I am very respectful and would always let you do you!
Hi there, my name is Danni and I'm a 27 year old, full time bartender. As such I work mostly nights so that would need to not be an issue for you! I've been in mostly share houses since the age of 18 so I'm well versed in sharing spaces with others, I'm friendly, outgoing, clean and respectful. In my downtime I usually keep to myself and read or have Netflix binges but I don't mind a good chat and a drink with housemates either. If I sound like a good fit for your place, hit me up. x P.S - Bonus points if your house has pets of any sort, happy to contribute all the pats.
Hi, I'm a Brit on a working holiday, looking to move into a private room ASAP! Looking to stay for around 6 months or more in the right house. 30 yo professional, sociable but beyond regular wild nights out these days..! Enjoy reading, yoga, health & fitness, arts & culture, science & nature... Lefty, open, veggie, looking for similar but not fussy! Clean and live minimally.
We have been friends for more than 10 years and moved to Melbourne together for a fresh start. I am doing a Master in Supply Chain and Ananda is studying business, next year hopes to start her cooking school. We have been here for almost an year sharing an apartment just the two of us, on CBD. But we also shared a bedroom, and decided that we want a bedroom for each one of us, and a bigger kitchen! We are very easy-going ladies, quite responsible with jobs and studies. But once home, we enjoy a glass of wine or a beer, talking about our days, etc. But we also respect each other space. We are not big fans of partying or danceclubs, but we love going to bars and pubs, having a meal out or just hanging in with some friends with a barbecue! Hope we can find great housemates for our new home!
I'm a nurse from the UK on a working holiday visa, currently looking for somewhere to live to work and save some money for a while. I'm friendly and sociable and enjoy chilled beers/drinks when I'm not working. I also like cooking and watching films, I enjoy my own space and respect other peoples space.
Hi potential roomie! I am very easygoing and can hold a conversation on many topics, I work full time, I work mainly in night shift, so I will not disturb you too much, I am calm, clean and orderly but I like share moments with my roommates too.
Looking for a new spot as I’m migrating south from Sydney for a new career opportunity. Mid week I’m a professional, early bed/rise, hit the gym/Pilates/yoga and relax over the odd dinner out, glass of vino or Netflix series. Weekends I’m looking forward to exploring the city and rural Victoria,. I’m a foodie, I’m passionate about travel, the outdoors and making the most of my time off. In a share house I like to make it my home and get to know my roomie(s) whilst maintaining independence. I’m a clean & tidy responsible adult! Preference is to share with any gender in a similar life stage, (not couples) i’d like my own bathroom and I need somewhere to park my car.
Update: I found a place, come live with me I'm a young guy working full time as a web developer in Fitzroy, looking for a fun inner city place with some cool housemates. I'm generally pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I just want to live with fun people I can have a laugh with. I'm perfectly happy either chilling in my room for days on end or hanging out with people and being social. I'm super considerate, the worst thing I can think of happening is that my actions will negatively impact someone, so I'll generally do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time. I have two adorable 6 month old cats, Audrey and Wally, who are super loving and really clean. I'm vegan, but again I'm pretty laid back. As long as you're cool and respect my lifestyle I can roll with the punches. I'm also a musician, playing guitar, bass and keyboard, but aside from singing in the shower I play with headphones so you wont have to worry about any loud 3am jams. Being a computer nerd, I come with my own supder high speed unlimited internet connection, and am happy to be the house IT department. I also come with a good fridge, a Nutribullet, basic kitchen supplies and one of those cube shelving/TV units from Ikea.
I'm a full-time student studying fine art. Very easy to get along with, chill, tidy. I like to cook and will always clean up after myself in the kitchen. Love to socialize but also can spend a bit of time in my room drawing and spending time with my cat. My cat is named Howard he is a year old and very sociable and affectionate! I like reading, making zines, listening to music (headphones usually :p) and roller skating among other things. Vegetarian and a feminist (trans inclusive and anti racist)
Hey hows it going? I'm a pretty laid back easy going individual who happens to be house trained, been living in shared houses now for 13 or more years here and abroad. I'm a causal worker that works full time hours in hospitality at the MCG, looking for a housemate/housemates that don't mind sharing the odd glass of wine or beer and maybe the odd meal now and then. Not a clean freak but in saying that not a filthy freak either. Things Im into: Bars, food, cooking, art, photography, travel and many many other great things. Oh I smoke but only out doors, keep telling myself this is the year I quit, only time will tell.
Hi there, my name is Renan 33 years old from Brazil. I been in Melbourne for quite a while where I complete my studies, traveled around the country, meet amazing people and watched so many gigs. I recently been in Fremantle and Gold Coast but came back to Melbourne to start a new chapter in my life. I work full time at Vegie Bar and occasionally do some labour work. I am a responsible, respectful and sociable dude that always try to be active doing exercise, yoga, going to gigs, hanging out with friends or simple have a time for myself. Sharing a meal over wine or simply watch some netflix is something that I also like to do. I believe that sharing a house with good and genuine people is an important part of learning, create mutual respect and have fun having a house to live and not a room to sleep. Cheers
Hey people Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the CBD, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if you're looking for someone to join up About me: I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals and taking photos. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. I don't have a car so won't need a parking space. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying at unimelb for the next two years
Born in QLD but been living in Ballarat/Melbourne for the past 5 years. I'm friendly, quiet and polite. Shy at first but easy to get along with. Willing to pull my weight with cleaning, etc.
My name is Kaoli, I'm female - 25 years old, originally from the Queensland but my whole family relocated to Melbourne about 2 years ago. Prior to that I spent 3 months traveling through Europe in 2016 and did a working holiday visa in Vancouver, Canada for a year across 2014-2015. I currently work full time at a bustling, small hole in the wall cafe the CBD. I work 5 days a week with my shifts ranging from opening shifts where I finish at 2pm or closing shifts that finish around 6:30pm. I really enjoy my current workplace, I also love to traveling, eating delicious food, drinking coffee and exploring everything that Melbourne has to offer. I may not have too much share house experience apart from my one year in Vancouver but I am kind, respectful, tidy, easy going and reliable with payments/bills. I'm pretty busy throughout the week so generally keep things low key and to myself. Love a good chat, occasional movie nights, meal sharing and coffee hang outs.

Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam
Hey! I’m a Mexican girl who’s doing a Marketing internship in Melbourne starting this July! I lived in England for a year, sharing a flat with 5 other people, so I’m really used to sharing a place to live. I am a super clean, organised, and nice girl who loves going out with friends at night, but also loves staying home and watching Netflix.
I’m 29 and I a social worker working full time in child protection. I’m from Adelaide, I have been here for 9 months and wanting to move to an area with a bit more happening. Wanting 1-2 other housemates. I work late often, so am always in bed early week nights. I love health and fitness, go to gym every morning before work. I love being social and being new to Melbourne would love to meet new people. I enjoy heading out but never bring the party home. I’m in to travelling too and am always heading back to Adelaide for short trips. Love sight seeing here in Melbourne too. Currently living west, so I am excited to live in an area with a bit more to do :)
Hi 👋 I've just moved to Melbourne from a small beachy town in WA :) I'm friendly, laid back and easy going but also respectful and quite aware of other people's spaces and boundaries. Try to remain as balanced as possible with quiet time and havin' a good time 😝
We are both backpackers coming from New Zealand, one american and one italian (both fluent in english). Looking to work full time but also looking to enjoy the city and get to know the culture! We are both very reliable and fun (we think so).
