Hey everyone, my name's Amber. I've recently turned 30 and am looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and to relocate to Melbourne for work. Came to Melbs a while back for a holiday, fell in LOVE with it and didn't ever want to come back to Sydney - so now I'm trying to make that dream a reality. Currently I'm on Newstart allowance as a means of consistent income but please note this is absolutely TEMPORARY in terms of a long term outlook - only to cover my rent and bills while I make moves to relocate cities & secure full time employment. I have every intention of getting a full time job as soon as I move to Melbourne and am already applying for a number of roles now - it's just quite hard to do from interstate before you leave, most companies won't take your application seriously unless you have a Melbourne address. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. I completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socialising with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms....by no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea! I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits us both, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling a bit hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself or time to study in my room. Really not a precious princess about things and am not into passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if it is your preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's house needs. I'm constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Don't mind a jazz cigarette ;) , but not a party animal - during the week I'm usually pretty chill (although, also, not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking /when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always a bit better for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know! Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with a cool, fuss-free housemate who likes the sound my listing. Looking to make the move by mid April or so / ASAP if I find something, got a flexible plane ticket booked ready to go - let me know if you have any questions. Peace & Thanks! Amber
Hello everyone. Currently looking for a new place to call home for myself and my fluffy feral grey feline sidekick, Earl Grey. I work part time at a theatre (can get you free tickets!!) and part time as a semi-pro freelance composer and musician. I am well house trained as although I am fairly young I have been living in sharehouses since the age of 17 in a variety of setups and environments. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420 friendly, and very open and caring. I keep myself pretty busy between work and musical commitments, but I am always down to share a meal and or a glass of wine together. I am not looking for a party house, and I really enjoy my downtime while also being quite social. I play the piano alot (I am told it is pleasant) so it's best if you like music. Naturally a clean person by nature and quite enjoy doing chores. Happy to subscribe to a cleaning roster but also more than capable of making a house work without one. So I am essentially looking for some nice, friendly people to live with and hang out with, in a house that is not too far from the city by public transport. A garden would be a bonus too as I have some plants and my cat likes to frolic amongst flowers haha. Look forward to hearing from you.
My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm currently in the Maidstone area but am looking to relocate by 5th April at the latest. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I enjoy a beer or two every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind!
I keep a clean living space, I'm always down to have a night out, and also happy to meet new people. I do like my space. I'm very respectable and just out here from the usa on a work holiday!
Calm and tidy, I appreciate my privacy and respect yours. I'm looking for a quiet place to share with nice people. And if you have a cat - I'm ready to move in even today 😄

I'm a 32 year old professional working in finance and investments and am also studying part-time at Deakin. I have relocated from Canberra and am looking forward to really embracing everything that Melbourne has to offer. I consider myself to be a fun and outgoing person who enjoys a nice glass of wine and eating out. I like to run in spare time and enjoy travelling too. I am a clean, tidy and respectful person.
Hi! Im an easy going girl from Germany looking for a shared flat. Im clean and tidy, always trying to not make a big mess. After I come back from NZ Id like to stay in Melbourne for 3-4 months to work here..

I am a professional female working 9-5 job in Human Resources and also do some volunteer HR work for a Non-for-Profit arts organisation in the evenings and weekends. I am an easy going person, very social, like to hit the gym/run 4-5 times a week and people generally love to have me around. I am very clean and always make sure the place is left spotless for the next person. In saying that, I don't have OCD;) I travel for work from time to time and generally lead a busy lifestyle, so not at home all the time which would give you time on your own. However, when I am around, I am always up for a chat or a drink and get brunch or dinner somewhere from time to time. I also like to cook when time permits, mostly over the weekends and happy to share any new recipes I try out with my flatmates. I moved to Melbourne from Sydney last year and was staying with friends. I am currently looking to find a place to share with someone easy to get along with, fun and a clean/tidy person. My preference is to have a private room with own bathroom plus parking. If I sound like someone you can live with, send me a message and we can take it from there.
I'm Julio Roa, from Venezuela, I studied Architecture and now I am enrolled in Certificate III spoken and written english in Lonsdale Institute in the CBD. Hi guys. I'm 34 music, nature and sports lover. I respect privacy but also like socializing :) clean and tidy person .
Hey! I'm Stacey, I'm 23 and from Southampton, England. I've been travelling since July 2016 through America, Mexico, South America and New Zealand before arriving in Melbourne in the middle of March. I already love it here and want to stay as long as possible; however I'm on a working holiday visa so I have to do my 3 months regional work at some point so I can stay longer! I'm clean and tidy and overall pretty chilled. I find cooking quite relaxing but not when someone's looking over my shoulder, so leave me be and I might make you dinner. I'm respectful of others spaces but love a chat over a cup of tea/glass of wine/pint of beer (delete as appropriate). Currently searching for full time job which I hope I'll have soon, but have some money put aside for bonds/rent. I've lived in shared houses before during university and don't mind whether I live with girls or guys or both. I'm keen to see more of Melb and surrounding areas so someone that's in the know or just up for a bit of exploring would be great.
Hi mates, We're a couple who's looking for a flat-share or house-share.
