Izak here, an international student from the Netherlands. My partner is going overseas for work and therefore I am looking for a room to rent until I finish my degree and found a job. Because we lived in an apartment I own full furnishings, such as: a tv, a couch, a washing machine, kitchen appliances etc, and happy to contribute my bit. I study social work, play rugby, am an active volunteer in the LGBTI+ community, and work part-time in a supermarket. I am a social, mature, reasonable guy that likes to have and cook a dinner at times, but also loves to have a bit of privacy. The room I am looking for is spacious and near public transport. I do not mind if the room is a bit further out in any of Melbourne's suburbs. I am allergic to pets, and as an ex-smoker prefer a non smokers household :)
Previously living in Gold Coast yet relocated to Melbourne and now studying aviation at Moorabbin Airport. I'm 19 male, quiet at times and really do respect the need of others' private space. I am also an amicable person who enjoys sharing my fascination with indie music. If you have a place and don't mind a guy joining you. Hit me up!
Hi! My name is Nicole and I'm a 25 years old, female, from Singapore. I work as a Registered Nurse, and have applied for work at a hospital in Richmond area. I am in the midst of looking for a place near to work to call home come June. In general, I am a neat person who will clean up after herself. Despite having to work shifts, I will definitely make time out to help around the house with chores or cooking. When I am not busy saving lives, I definitely enjoy hanging out over drinks and good food (especially BBQ) or just kicking back on the couch with a good TV programme. Aside from that, I am an avid animal lover and welcome households with with pets. Overall, I am an outgoing person who loves socialising but will definitely respect privacy as well. If you feel that you have a place in your home to welcome a roomie like me, do feel free to drop me a message here, and I look forward to seeing photos of your place. Cheers!!
Hey future roomies! I'm a late 20s Canadian guy who is an absolute delight to live with. I'm working part time and I've got at least 2 friends so between my career and bustling social life I don't have a lot of spare time. When I do, however, get time to myself I like to: -Explore (I've travelled 5 countries in the past 12 months) -Discover new music ... Spotify - the final frontier -Develop professionally (with "how to" videos on youtube) -Read (subtitles when I have to) -Contemplate the possibility that we're all actually living in a video game -Freestyle rap battle against myself in the shower I'm outgoing and sociable but underneath the veil of confidence is a bit of a nerd. I'm technically a Mechanical Engineer and I have idols like Elon Musk, Nikola Tesla, and Mr. Burns. If I could be anyone in the world I'd be either Tom Hardy or Aladin. Most importantly I'm mature, respectful of shared living spaces, and promptly clean up after myself. I can't wait to be your new roommate! Alan
I am Iris a 37 year old doctor, working full time, i just moved to Melbourne and i am looking for a safe place to live. I am tidy, considerate of others, out going and generally would enjoy living with sociable people but not in a party house.
Hi, my name is Andreas, Im a german Backpacker in my 30's. Im a tidy, clean, respectful person who loves to socialise and make new friends. I have a good sense of humor. I'm looking to share with chilled out friendly people like myself who like to go out occasionally and enjoy the odd evening cooking together and hanging out. I'm a non smoker. I'm looking forward to getting to know my future housemates and new home.
I'm an easy going 26 year old female looking to move out reasonably soon. I am originally from Melbourne, work 9-5 during the week and on the weekends I enjoy socialising with my friends; hopefully with my new housemates too! I like keeping active and love a good Melbourne brunch. I'm tidy, organised and am always respectful of who I'm living with.
I'm in the final year of an IT security bachelor degree and do freelance Web Development for top up income. In my free time i play and watch a fair amount of basketball, code web applications and also all the standard things done socially with others. I'm really into film as my first degree, which i dropped out of was a film studies orientated arts bach, now i'm in IT lol but it's ok because i think i've watched all the movies i need for a lifetime. Im looking for a social house hold as i've been living in a studio apartment for two years and the solitude is the reason i'm looking to move out. I'm easy going, look for civil non-confrontational modes of conflict resolution and am clean to whatever the household standards are although obviously you cannot know this for sure, so you should msg and vet me :)
I'm a 26 year old looking to move from Queensland to Melbourne within the next 6 weeks. I'm easy going, clean and respectful of personal space. I enjoy socialising with friends on the weekends and am looking for roommates and new friends who I can enjoy a drink or two with on the weekends with some good banter. I'm a teacher and musician who enjoys keeping healthy and active throughout the week. I'm looking for short-term accomodation (up to 3 months) so please feel free to message me if you'd think I'd be a good fit.
Hi, my name is Georgia. I'm a 25 year old student who works in retail part time. Apart from studying and working I love yoga, cooking, a little bit of gardening and a nice chat with a housemate accompanied by a cheeky glass of wine. I'm looking for a place with a private room, nice and tidy occupants who are up for a chat in the evening but nothing too noisy as I would like a quiet place to study sometimes as well. If you are interested in teaming up for a place or have a spare private room available feel free to send me a message! :)
Hi, I am 23, currently studying Masters of Marketing and working as a store manager for Dodo Connect. I am outgoing, friendly, respectful and like to keep things tidy.I have experience living in a share house, so I know the rules. I m quite into sports, music (blues, jazz), gaming and binge watching netflix shows if I have time. I am quite a sociable housemate but I am also considerate of personal space of other housemates. When I am not too busy I love to go for drinks with couple of friends over the weekend and check out new places around Melbourne. Cheers
20, moving to Melbourne from Tasmania in 2 weeks to work fulltime as an Enrolled Nurse at St Vincent Private Hospital. Most weekends will be spent working for Microsoft in the city. Tidy, respectful and outgoing individual. Spend most of my nights at the gym or relaxing. Love to kick back and have a glass after a long day and cook. Someone who wouldn't mind exploring places if both are too lazy to cook or if you want someone to adventure with on the weekend. I enjoy socializing, but I also love my own space and you may find me hardly home. Happy to team up and look for a place around Fitzroy. I won't be coming with any furniture, but I'm happy to start from scratch at a new house. Looking at 1 year stay. Even though I'm 20, I'm very mature for my age and very career driven. Feel free to call, text or message me on here.
Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile to find out about what sort of housemate I am. I'm a 33 year old professional who emigrated properly from the U.K. last year (although I've lived in Melbourne twice before so I know it well). I'm a teacher although I'm on a break and working full time in Marketing trying to break in to copywriting as I love to write. I'm really easy going, tidy, humble and very respectful of others. I like to have a giggle and to go out but equally like my time at home too. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a house with. Respectful people, decent human beings. It doesn't bother me what you do or what your interests are, as long as you pay your rent on time and tidy up after yourself, etc. It would be a bonus to have housemates I can socialise with and enjoy the things to see in this wonderful city! If you think we'd work well in a house or flatshare together, i'd love to hear from you! Nicola :-)
Canadian here on a working holiday visa, just finished my farm work and am looking to set up in Melbourne for the next year and a half! I enjoy sports and fitness, cooking (i'm no master chef but I have a few dishes I'm proud of), exploring the city whether its for new cafes, restaurants or pubs, the beach, music of all kinds, and a good night out (but not bringing the party back). If you have a place, and don't mind a guy with a funny accent joining you, let me know :) Brendan

Hey everyone! My partner Yuki and I are looking for a place to stay! have been applying for places left right and center through real estate agents for a while now, but im pretty new to this and havent been able to get a hold of something, maybe im doing something wrong haha, but anyway. My Partner Yuki is a lovely young lady from Japan, who is on her second working holiday visa, working as a barista, and I am studying Audio Engineering and working as a Bartender. If you like clean flatmates, then look no further, because Yuki is a cleaning nazi, and after living with her in Japan its rubbed off on me a bit too. I'm always up for a beer and I love to cook, I take pride in my Indian curries which i have spent a lot of time getting good at making, so if you love curry then no need to head down to the local indian if I'm around. My favorite things are 90's hip hop, american pool, Japanese language, cooking, making video game music ( i do a bit of producing work on the side), talking about space and black holes and cool stuff like that, and just generally chillaxin. I really hope i can find a place! thank you for reading!
I'm Raphaele, French, teacher of Languages working in Melbourne and studying as well. I'm into languages (what a surprise :}, food (huge fan of cheese...), traveling and salsa dancing mostly. Easy-going, house-trained, I love socialising as much as I enjoy having my own space. I am looking for a quiet but sociable place (where I can have spontaneous drinks or dinners with friends for instance).
I'm a professional in my late twenties. Both my housemates recently found their dream gigs overseas, so looking for a new pad with some all-round great people. Very relaxed and easy to get along with. Enjoy listening to music and staying active with tennis and gym. Love a good chat or grabbing a bite/drink together every now and then, but also respectful of space and privacy.
