Hey - we're two friends looking for a place to live. Adam is working full time in project management and construction and Oscar is working in education until he goes back to studying his literature honours. We're both chilled and outgoing people who love a good banter. Both love board games and a casual drink. We're excited to meet some cool and open minded people.
Hello, My name is Roman, I'm currently living in Stockholm, but I have already been sponsored a 457 visa by the University of Melbourne, so I plan to move to Melbourne first week of November this year. I am interested in renting an appartment or room near Melbourne/Parkville (can be away from the center too, no worries). Kite surfing, surfing and whatever oz life has to offer is worth exploring, looking forward to it so much! :D Roman
I am a keen cook and a good baker, I enjoy a glass of wine and a chat after work. Ian makes a great curry (especially if you like it spicy!) and has some interesting travel stories. We're both clean and tidy people who are used to living with others, we've been living in Melbourne for a few months now. I work as an Occupational Therapist and Ian works in insurance. We both tend to work Monday-Friday. We are both easy going people who get on well with others, and enjoy experiencing new things, whether it be a new dish to try, or a new culture to learn about. While it would be great to meet people in a flat share situation who we can genuinely become friends with, we also don't mind living somewhere quiet where the flatmates are happy to keep to themselves.
Hi, everyone! Me and my boyfriend Tom are moving to Melbourne this week, and we're looking for a nice place to call home for the next 6 months - possibly a year. A little bit about us: I'm a Brazilian freelance translator (which means I'm bringing my work with me) passionate about traveling, animals and books. I'm a big foodie, and though I'm not really good at it, I love cooking! I also love exercising, especially swimming and yoga. Tom is British and he's a trained commercial diver. He's coming on a working visa, so we hope to find him a job soon. Like myself, he loves travelling and food (get him some cheese and you'll make a friend for life!), but he's also a big fan of movies, series and games. We met while backpacking through Southeast Asia about 2.5 years ago, and you can expect to meet two friendly, easy going and open-minded people. We both enjoy an occasional pint or glass of wine and like going to bars/hanging out with friends, but we're not big party people. We're also very clean and organized, so no need to worry about that. Well, I guess that's it for now. Let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers! Patricia.
hey all, I am moving to Melbourne end of October for a full time job and I am keen to find find a place I can call home. I am sociable and a great cook but I also enjoy my alone time. 26 years old, non smoker and an occasional drinker ( trying to get the abs family out),a bit of a neat freak. You will either find me out with friends/ working out or i'll be home binge watching a series. I will like to start by spending a month in a flat to test the waters, if that works out Ill extend it to 6 months. ps; I have a cat I'm keeping with friends but i would love if I can move her in with me Feel free to drop me a message !
Originally Melbourne city slicker and young at heart 50 yr old that has recently returned from living in Chiang Mai, Thailand back in Australia to find a house to call a home for awhile whilst I save and do some courses before heading back to Thailand to live at the end of 2018 to teach English. Love music, coffee, nature and a good chat! Super clean kinda guy, but totally not anal about it, respectful of others privacy and belongings. I come with no baggage, well maybe my duffle bag...lol! I have been housesitting in Ballarat since my return for a month and had a seachange in Rye for about 6 weeks. Now Looking CBD or inner north, inner West or inner east or inner south. Feel free to hit me up with any questions, really am easy going eh!
I have recently moved to Melbourne to finish my degree after travelling South America and the UK. I'm a musician, I love theatre and I'm studying to teach both to youth. I'm part-time and work 4 to 5 days a week at a bar/pizzeria called the lucky coq on chapel street. I'm an easy going and very social person. As everyone says on their profile "I'm clean and tidy," when I say this I'm being honest. I don't like a dirty house because clutter/mess makes it hard to think straight but that definitely doesn't mean if you leave a chocolate bar wrapper on the coffee table for an hour I'll lose the plot. I love this city and the arts culture it has to offer, if you'll consider having me as a roomy I'll be grateful! Chuck me a message and we can meet up for coffee or beer. Cheers!
Hi, am moving to Melbourne this Saturday (20/8) from Liverpool U.K looking for somewhere chilled, positive atmosphere and comfortable to stay. Am easy going lad, get along with just about everybody - Looking to have a fun time in melbourne - am into music, sports & socialising. I have huge respect for the place i stay and the people i live with, clean person and always up for a laugh. Excited to be moving to melbourne :)
I'm a down to earth, relaxed and respectful, local Melbournian. I'm 22, studying at RMIT and work part-time in a pub. Not home very often but when I am I like to stay active, cook and have a glass of wine. I'm clean and tidy, prefer my own space but happy to socialise on time off. House sitting for the next couple of weeks, looking to move in to a place from September 12th onwards.
Hey, My names Eliza. I'm a student in Brisbane studying business and law but have deferred this semester to work and live the remainder of the year in Melbourne before I head back to Brissy for uni next February! I'm a very relaxed kind of gal, love to explore and socialise but appreciate my own time too! I plan to stay in Melbourne temporarily, so I'm looking for a furnished room! Thanks!
Hi guys, I'm a 23yr old nurse, working full time at Monash Children's Hospital. I'm looking to move into a new place as I say goodbye to my current flat. I'm originally from country NSW and moved to Melbs to attend boarding school. I'm super independent, organised & clean (almost OCD), having lived out of home since a young age. I'm a really great cook, and bake practically whenever I am bored. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle by going to the gym(Kaya on Chapel st) and eating well. However, I have a massive sweet tooth and will cave for anything tsweet. I love to entertain and enjoy having friends over for dinner and drinks. I'm incredibly social, and like to hit the town on weekends when I'm not working. I'm not home all that often due to working shift work and also catching up with friends during the week. In winter, i spend most of my time at the MCG cheering on the Bombers and in summer, I spend a lot of time at our beach house in Anglesea. You'd be welcome too! I'm looking to move in with people who are ultimately very fun & social, happy to entertain, share a bottle of wine with, share a meal here and there and who love watching netflix. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey there guys, just a friendly chick here looking for a place to call her own. Would love a place where (potential) roomies are welcoming and friendly, by also respectful of space. Currently working part-time in hospo and looking to start study next year. I'm a mean cook, love to travel, go to lots of festivals/galleries and absolutely love animals. So if you have one, it would be well loved. If you think I'm the potential roomie for you, feel free to drop me a message! :)
I'm an easy-going, tidy guy. Always good for beer, a chat, and a laugh. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for my grad job. So when I'm not working I like to socialise; explore what's happening in the city; or try to get outside and go for a run or hike, try to stay active basically. In saying that, I am a fan of just chilling out and relaxing at home every now and again. Looking for someone or people who want a fun home but don't mind if you also prefer to chill out in their room.
I'm currently studying full-time and working part-time in the city and looking for a place close to the CBD! I'm a tidy and easygoing girl and I usually keep to myself. Save me from my current 1.5 hour trek to work and uni!
Hey I'm Declan - I'm 25 years old and am currently studying law at Deakin University plus working behind a bar up in Collingwood. I drink an excessive amount of tea which, in turn, makes me a pretty laid back guy. I love exploring around the city, finding new bars and cool places to eat. Other than that I love my music, dancing for as long as my legs allow and gardening (i'm not very good though). Otherwise I'm quite social during the days but usually retire late at night spending them towards my studies - but when the opportunity arises I love getting out, being social and having drinks when and where I can
Hey, I'm Eesh, I moved to Melbourne a year and half ago spontaneously from London. I love it here and plan on staying for the foreseeable future. I'm very friendly, sociable, super clean and tidy. I'm known for being a big foodie and a bit of a whizz in the kitchen so you're in for some good feeds living with me! I like to keep things clean and tidy so I'll always wipe down the kitchen counter after I've used it. I work full-time for an advertising agency in South Melbourne and have a pretty busy work/life schedule working Mon-Fri. I'm looking to live in a home opposed to a house with no soul. I want to live with sociable housemates who are happy to hang out occasionally. I enjoy a night out, film nights, beach days, keeping fit (note: I try real hard but fail when it comes to dieting!), travelling, dancing, dinner parties, BBQ's and of course - vino! Equally, I really enjoy my 'me' time and am very respectful of personal space and privacy. Not looking for a party house either, I want my home to be a home for hangs and a homey vibe where we all look out for each other. Drop me a line if you have a room going and feel I'd be a good roomie :-) Cheers, Eesh
I'm 29 years old and work full-time as an analyst in East Melbourne. I'm also starting my part-time MBA at Melbourne Business School in September and therefore looking to move within close range to the city. I'm a very social person, enjoy the occasional drinks, playing basketball with friends, brunching on weekends etc.
Melbourne born and bread. Working full time managing a bar but going back to uni next year. Can promise I will come home with beer and wine that I convince reps "I will definitely try and get on the menu" and war stories of working in customer service. Looking for a place that is worthy of a sitcom but with people who also respect how nice it can be to sit in the dark and just watch Netflix by yourself. If you want any more info about me give me a call or a text
Hi there, My name is Niklas, and I am a 25 year old from Canada that just finished my Master's degree in chemistry. My girlfriend, Amanda, is 27 years old, from Sweden, and recently quit her job at a staffing agency. Our interests include music, drawing, cooking, dancing, writing, travel, and being with friends. We have been living Stockholm for 2 years and figured a working holiday visa would be the perfect start to a new adventure. We are friendly, social, hard-working, and love to meet new people. We try to live healthy lifestyles, but are still more than willing to enjoy a drink or two. Cheers :)
Hi there! I have just moved back from London and looking for a room in the inner-east. I work full-time in financial services and study part-time. Outside of work I love watching/playing sport, hitting the gym, going to gigs, eating out and exploring new bars. Looking for similar minded housemates who don't mind the odd adventure but also have their own thing going on too. Have lived in share houses for past 8 years so I am well and truly house-trained! Cheers
