We're Rob and Tamara, an easygoing, clean and friendly couple in our 30s. Both work for non-profits and are into the outdoors, cooking, gardening and other wholesome hobbies. We enjoy sharing a meal and drinking wine but our partying days are well behind us. We're looking for a room in a likeminded household with one or two other people, ideally with a garden/outdoor space. We're also happy to join a house search with someone looking to set up a new lease. ***Please note that we are only looking to move in after April 28 as we have a place lined up until then :) *** If you think you could have the place for us, please get in touch!
If you are the kind who doesn't give any f*** about your housemates other than the house will be fully furnished, well I have a whole house full of furniture.. I just need a new place to settle them. But then again, if anyone's keen purely because of my furniture then i probably wouldn't be keen living with them :) And so the essay begins............................ - I come as a package of 3 (2 playful kittens adopted from the shelter + myself). And with cats come their toys. Cat scratchers and cat toys are usually placed in their designated play area so you must love them enough to be able to accept the cat scratcher and their toys in the living area! They are playful so if your mentality is "cats are tolerable" then i don't think i am a suitable housemate. Personality wise I’d say I’m kinda over the let’s get happy drunk every night phase of my life. That's not to say no more night conversations over glasses of wine.. it simply means the days of getting carried out of a club like like a toppling corpse is over. We can all blame Friends for feeding us all these fantasies of how fantastic life would be with housemates doing literally everything together, becoming BFFs but well we don't live in NBC. My little childhood dream of housemates as friends, chilling over wine and hanging out still resurfaces once in a while but as life takes over, I do understand that sometimes all we want when we get home is just some private space. And I absolutely second that. Bottomline is my opinion is. that everyone should get a choice of whether they are in the mood to bond at any particular time? What's worse than having a horrible day at work, just wanting to escape the world for a day but have housemates waiting for you at home to be a social butterfly? The whole purpose of bonding is already defeated if any 1 of the participants isn't into it in the 1st place. So that's my mentality towards a sharehouse in an (i tried my best to condense it) essay. Finally on myself, I'm probably the laziest person alive but dont worry. I dont cook so i wouldnt mess up your kitchen. I dont garden but i would love a balcony or backyard for my cats. When i say lazy, i pretty much mean that i get takeaways all the time. Physcially lazy, but my curiosity can never be satisfied. I have a very diverse range of interest. I do muay thai, ride a motorbike (scooter now, bike got stolen). Adrenaline junkie, loves solo travelling. Loves conversation about modern society, philosophy, very into tech ( i buy stuff and disassemble them for fun). Basically it seems like somehow i get interested in everything! If you're into the personality type hype, I'm INFP but a bordeline I.. meaning technically ambivert. I need my alone time just like ur iphone craves for its lightning cable. After which, i do enjoy social interactions.. just not too much in my face all at once :D If you are still with me *waves* after my really long profile description and keen on reaching out, please text me Cheers!

Hi future flatmate! I am an energetic, social, happy little bunny! I am originally from Sunny California and is currently looking for my next long-term home (6 months with the potential for renewal or extension). I am an independent, self-sufficient, and mentally resilient 24 year old who is often applauded for being very mature and reliable for my age, but also fun, lively, and easy-going person to be around. I am very respectful of people's space and items and is typically very clean and organised. For work, I am a Corporate Auditor (accountant) for Deloitte and work the usual M-F / 9-5pm schedule. I like to live an active and healthy lifestyle where I enjoy doing yoga, going to the gym, and attempting to eat right most of the time (I have the biggest sweet tooth!). On the weekends, you will always find me where the music is at or on a road trip or having a nice picnic with friends at the park or just exploring what the next new thing this lovely city has to offer! Feel free to reach out if you think we would be great flatmates! Cheers! xx
I'm new in the Melbourne area, looking for some flatmates I can relax around. Very chill person, but also very tidy and motivated. I appreciate personal space but I'm also always up for a good movie night or some drinks.
- Full time professional working in the CBD (Accounting/Finance) - Lover of the simple things - food, wine and sports - Not a raging party-er, but enjoy getting out and about often - Enjoy a tidy, trendy, clutter free home (no issues paying for a cleaner) - Happy to give your dog many pets (if applicable) - Wouldn't mind a house mate(s) who double as friends rather than strangers
I’m 32 and have been living in Melbourne for the past 7 years. I have always lived in the Northern suburbs but I now need to get closer to work. I’m the Group Event Manager for a big hospitality group - lots of work perks 😜- , love cooking, swimming, running and I am a big F45 fan. Mainly work Monday to Friday 9 - 6, love working out in the morning so I’m one of those early risers. Always available for a good glass of wine.
I am a 17 year old female currently studying at VCE at RMIT. I'm very friendly, easygoing and tidy. When I'm not at school or studying I like to hang out with my friends, go to events in and around Melbourne and go to the cinemas. I can cook a decent spaghetti bolognese (veg or not-veg), love pets and love nature.
I’m a clean, easy going guy moving from Wellington in NZ. Young professional who like to have fun but also appreciates a good night in with wine and knitting. I also quite enjoy baking, and I’m not half bad at it so you get the benefits of that! Pretty keen on getting outdoors as much as I can, I’m a Landscspe architect so it goes hand in hand with that.
Hey! My preference is a private bedroom with own bathroom. I also have a car so off-street parking would be ideal however not necessary if on-street parking is readily available! Am looking at suburbs between Maidstone/Maribyrnong/Moonee Ponds to the city, however I work in Abbotsford so anywhere from the city out to Kew is great too. I'm a full time worker with the standard 9-5 workday. Young at heart 35 year old who's easy going, tidy, clean and considerate of others. I usually spend weeknights bingewatching Netflix in my room with social activities happening on weekends - visiting family, catching up with friends for lunch/movie/dinner, etc. May have a rare late night out on a Saturday but won't bring the party home and I promise I'll be quiet when entering the house! Happy to have a chat/drink/takeout if our schedules line up. Let me know if you think we'd get along :)
My names Danielle but my friends call me Dal! I am very sociable and love to have a great chat with dinner and drinks, although I do appreciate my own alone time too after work and during the week. I am very calm, courteous and appreciate everyone putting in effort around the house whilst picking up after yourself. I believe that everyone should put in the same effort as what the expect from others. I love doing outdoor activities i.e. hiking, camping, fishing, road tripping and going away for the weekend. I love going to festivals and meeting new people! If you would like to chat further send me a message :)
I'm full-time 3D Animation student and I have been working as a Junior VFX Artist in an animation studio in Bali. I am so easy going anyway. I'd love to go on adventures, cycling and I'd love to hang out. I love drinking coffee. I'm still in my early 20 and I work casually (usually I don't go home late) I might be often in front of my laptop doing my assignments and working on some freelance jobs. I've been living in this current sharehouse (with my three other housemates that are in their mid 20s) for 9 months now, however our lease ends in March and everyone has decided to move out. I'm pretty chill. I like to keep the house clean and tidy. and most importantly, I'm a cat person! (I don't bring cats with me but very welcome with a cat in a house) Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Hello! We are a couple moving to australia from Argentina. My boyfriend is studying a master in Monash and a'm looking for a job. I'm a telecommunications engineer. We like a paceful place to discover the city and organize ourselves. We are respectful and easygoing, We enjoy a good chat and we are looking for advise for knowing the best things of Australia!
Hey potential flatmates! I am looking for a couple who would be interested in TEAMING UP to apply for a 2 bedroom apartment close to the city! (I've found a place in Brunswick that I LOVE, it's $500 per week and available 4th of April, which is ideally when I'd be looking to move!) But if this place falls through, I'm looking in areas such as Brunswick, Camberwell, Richmond, Hawthorn, Prahran, and Kensington. Wanting to spend max $200 per week each (there is heaps available for less than this!). I am very chill but particular about a nice/modern house & furniture. I am currently back home saving but have 5 years of renting/house share experience :) Looking to do this by the end of March start of April :) Big plus if you have furniture, but am putting aside money for household staples (fridge, washing machine, couch etc.) or if you already have these i'll be more flexible with dates. About me: I work full-time in the CBD, going to be studying real estate this year. When I'm not working or catching up on sleep from my 2am finish, I'm hanging out with friends/my boyfriend, finding A+ cafe's for brunch, binge watching Netflix, playing video games/streaming on Twitch (good internet is a must). I'm introverted most of the time but am always keen for a chat, dinner, glass of wine & movie! In saying this, I also respect peoples space and expect the same :) I am also happy to move into an already established share house with like minded people my age if the right place/people come along. Shoot us a message if this sounds like something you'd be interested in :)
Hey everyone! I'm an 18 year old female moving to Melbourne from New Zealand in April and looking for a few fun people to live with over the next 9 months or so. I'll be working full time. I'm laid back, clean, easy to get along with and quite social. I like to chill and have a few drinks here and there. I love meeting new people! :)
I'm a chilled Mexican dude doing a PhD on quantum physics at Monash uni. I'm quite easy going, usually busy with work during the week but I like hanging out during the weekend. Hobbies include playing the (electric) guitar (using headphones), lifting weights and amateur photography. My favourite music is metal but I listen to mostly everything. I'm a lousy dancer despite being latino but I'm looking forward to change that. I like American football but now trying to follow AFL. I can cook at least some basic Mexican dishes and I'm willing to learn more ;) On the boring side, I like keeping my stuff tidy and well organised, other than my desk which is usually a (tidy) mess. Will happily contribute to the basic chores to maintain a comfy happy home.
I am the most tidy, considerate and appreciative person you will ever live with. I was born in Hawaii, lived in California, Japan, Mauritius and now Melbourne (last 7years). I am multiculturism alive. And I happen to be a future dentist so free tips anytime ;)
I'm an IT consultant, regularly working 9-5 weekdays but may be away on business trips sometimes. I grew up in NZ and love calisthenics and aerial arts for which I hope to continue taking classes when I move to Melbourne, and am looking to pick up some more craftsy hobbies as well. Also love shopping, nail art, anime/manga/self help audiobooks at the moment. I don't drink frequently but do love food and drinks. I'm always looking to reduce consumption and reuse/recycle where possible, so would prefer to live with like-minded ecoaware and minimal people.
We are a group of friendly people From Swinburne Uni, we are looking for a ful house for 4 of us and we like to explore more and also we would also maintain the house in a good conditioned way. Thank you regards Ganesh
