Hi there future flattie! I'm a PhD student moving from NZ on the 16th February to study Pharmaceutical Research at WEHI so am looking for a sharehouse within a short tram ride to Parkville. I'm super excited to explore Melbourne and hopefully live with some great housemates/friends! A bit about me - I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful of others' space. Not much of a party-goer but I do love a good chat over a wine. I love keeping fit but definitely appreciate some good comfort food and love cooking Mexican! I'm sadly allergic to cats so cannot live with cat parents :( but am a HUGE dog lover! Flick me a message if you think we would make great flatmates. I look forward to hearing from you!
Young go-getter professional making the move to Melbourne from NSW. The closer to the inner North the better. Busy and social housemates/friends are preferable to the no noise after dark types. I try not to be too serious about things, except of course paying the rent on time, cold VB and good techno. Being open minded goes a long way. Ps. I may occasionally have to do some work over the phone of a night.
I'm Jake, a UX writer originally from Manchester who loves swimming, cooking, yoga (when I can be bothered) and writing - whether that's UX stuff or my own short stories, poetry and so on. I'm moving to Melbourne and will be free from the 14th March onwards. Top 5 things I'll want to do when I get out there are: 1. find some good places to eat 2. get some contract work 3. Start cooking for my flatmates 4. make some new friends, and take them to places I found in 1 5. Get out into the local spoken word/poetry scene. If you can help with any of those or, even better, want to live with me while I discover all of those things for myself (and you!) then hit me up. As long as I have my own room I can work the rest around that :) Let me know if you want to chat! Jake
Easy going, clean, tidy housemate who can be honest and say I’m not a great cook but sure as hell can match the wine to go with any dish!!! Love to hang from time to time with my housemates but also respect the boundaries of space and own down time!!!
This is Adria, a 28 years old guy from Barcelona and I just moved to Australia. I’m Telecom Engineer by UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). I would like to find a private room in a shared house. On my free time I like watch TV Series on Netflix and listen music. I also like to spend time with my flatmates and have a chat with a glass of wine or play some board games. I like cook and I know most of traditional dishes from Spain so maybe I could do some delicious dishes and share them with you 🙂 I have been sharing apartments from 5 years ago, that means I know the basic cohabitation rules. I would like to visit your place and meet you! I look forward to hearing from you, Thanks in advanced
Gday I'm Harry Looking for a quite place to rest up after busy days of working and/or uni. My weekends normally involve swimming comps or catch up with some mates. I'm moving from Ballarat with 12 months prior experience of renting for Uni. I'm normally very clean and respectful and a very open book. :)
So I've just started a new job in IT recruitment, my weekdays are mostly packed with 12 hour workdays. On the weekends I enjoy hanging around, catching up on cleaning, cooking & amp; laundry. Like to do at least one touristy thing around Melbourne in a month. Absolute bomb at cooking, and always up for good chats. I am neat, tidy and respectful of others! The smallest things make me happy and I am pretty easy going. Looking for a nice peaceful house where everyone gets along and respects each other !
I'm a friendly English guy and I love becoming friends with my flatmates. I'm super laid back but not to the point of not doing the dishes:). I generally work in construction or as a painter and I'll be studying part-time. Looking for a relaxed household and a room big enough for a desk, but flexible on everything else.
I'm a really tidy, respectful and easy person to get along and live with, I like a laugh and a chat. I'm very active and healthy so I'd prefer to live with people that don't party too much. I'm here in Melbourne studying post-grad exercise physiology and I work as a personal trainer.
Hello :) I'm on the lookout for a quiet place to call home around the inner-east of Melbourne. I'm currently studying full-time and working, so I hope to find a housemate/s who live a similar lifestyle. I visit my family one or two nights a week, study every night, and gym before/after work. Big on meal prep and cleaning as far as housey stuff goes. I love playing guitar.
Hiya! We're Nadine (25) and Sofia (25) a Scottish/English Colombian couple looking for a furnished room in Melbourne! We've just arrived in this wonderful city and are hoping to find full-time employment as soon as possible, probably in hospitality. We've been travelling in South East Asia for 11 months but are planning to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months. We're easy-going and very tidy and although we love going out sometimes, we're planning on knuckling down to save some money! Having travelled Asia for almost a year, we really want to find a home where we are open to be ourselves and surround ourselves with like minded people. We love our own time, but we also like socialising and getting to know people. If you like the sound of us, we'd love to hear from you, Sofia and Nadine :)
Hello! We're Nick and Hazel, from the US and UK respectively. We're currently looking for somewhere to settle down in Melbourne for 6-7 months while we save money on our Working Holiday Visas.

I’m independent, bubbly, laid-back yet organised and mature. I work full time as a property law clerk (occasionally working late hours and early mornings). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, brunches and dinners, beach days, shopping and the occasional glass of wine. I wouldn’t describe myself as a party animal, however I really don’t mind a drink every now and then. I take pride in my home and it’s cleanliness. Preferably looking for someone who is similar. I have lived with housemates previously, so understand boundaries and respecting others belongings. I’m looking to live with someone in their late twenties (or early thirties) who is respectful, mature and likes their own space but is also open to pizza and netflix. If you think I’m the right fit then let me know.
Hi! I’m Harrison (26) and I work full time in Hawthorn East as a retail buyer. I grew up in Melbourne and I am looking to move a little closer to work and the city. I am very organised, neat and respectful. I am into fitness, design and socialising with friends over a cheeky vino.
Hi! My name is Vesa, I'm from Finland and I’m studying towards a master’s degree in music education at The University of Melbourne. I’m a peaceful person and easy to live with. My favourite hobbies are music (obviously), sports, such as jogging, cycling and swimming and I love hiking and outdoor life. Student parties aren’t my passion, I’d prefer a walk in a park or a chill board game evening. I’m tidy and systematic, and I like to keep the places clean and things in order. My studying and living are supported financially by Finnish Government, so you can be sure I’ll pay rents and bills on time. :)
Hi everyone! This is Jay from Brissy, coming to start my master at RMIT. I’m an energetic, easy going person. At home, I usually read and do some simple cooking. I'm a design and tech nerd, but I also love being active and spend time outdoors. (Hiking and kitesurfing, sailing, diving, anyone?) I’m into Zen living, so I like to keep things to minimal and make cleaning and tidying as my ritual, but definitely not Marie Kondo type! XD And would not force others to do so. In case you wonder, I’m an Aires :)
Hi 👋 I'm working full time as software engineer in a company located in the city; so I will spend most of my time outside but it may happen that somedays I work from home as well. I am easy going, open minded, very quiet, respectful to your privacy and not a party animal person who does clean up after himself. If I'm not at my computer, I'm either reading, watching a movie, at gym or most probably somewhere out there hiking. Also would love to socialize by having conversation to know other cultures, learn new things, have beer, bbq, hangout on weekends and casual stuff like that. I have been sharing an apartment with couple of people in the city for few months but since the lease will be over soon, I'm looking for new places to move in. It also worths mentioning that my girlfriend is also living in Melbourne and she may occasionally stays over or vice versa. Cheers.
