Hi, My name is Zahide and I'm from the Netherlands. I just came back home from my trip in South East Asia. And bought a ticket to Australia! I'm looking for a place to stay, don't worry I'm ok to live with. :-) I love food, lots lots of food. Music, I sing and write! Always in for a drink and good fun. I'm clean, and i respect privacy. And I'm always in for a laugh. I do love sarcasm. So..... Looking for a great place to stay for at least for 2 months if not longer. I'll arrive the 14th of September in Melbourne.
I'm chill, tidy and like to have a laugh and maybe wines on the weekend (not every weekend though - sometimes I just want Netflix and food). I like to get outdoors and explore; find new places and see new things. Not gonna lie, usually my room is covered with clothes, but when it comes to the communal areas - things always go back where they came from as soon as they're done with (or in the dishwasher/washed up if applicable). I take pride in my home and like to present it well. But yeah, my bedroom seems to get untidy about three minutes after I tidy it 🤦🏼♀️. I've just come back from backpacking around South America and have a load of job interviews lined up so should have a full time job very shortly.
Hi, I'm Kate from Scotland. I'm on a working holiday visa and have been in Australia for 8 months now. I'm a very sociable, friendly person who is always up for a chat. I love Melbourne and am keen to make the most of my time here. I love going out whenever I have free time to explore, whether it be for a day trip, to a market, for drinks, dinner or anything else that Melbourne has to offer :) I currently have a full time job as a receptionist in South Melbourne, so would love to be near to a tram stop if possible! Ideally looking for a house share to meet lots of new people/friends. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I work as a civil engineer and so work long hours and spend my free time in the evening in the gym. I enjoy going out as much as sitting in chilling out and cooking some good food!
Hi, I'm making the big move down from Sydney to start a new job in September. I'll be working full time in marketing as well as trying to navigate a new city. I'm bringing with me my main man, Otis, who is a 5 month old Labradoodle. I enjoy a good laugh and being around great company, eating great food and drinking great wine. I have a terrible coffee habit and like to think of myself as a brunch/cafe aficionado so that's how I like to spend a lot of my weekends. Wanting to find a place that will feel like home.
Hi all, I'm from Brisbane and have been living in Melbourne for the past 6 months for work as a full time business strategy and project management graduate - so i spend most of the day during the week in the office living the corporate hack life. Very active, I was learning to kite surf before i left Brisbane but it's too cold here (on my to do list though), i sail a lot and do crossfit but don't hold it against me, i promise i won't try and indoctrinate you into the cult OR talk about paleo (yes walking enigma). Really into art and working on cool projects, would be dandy do cool house projects and working on making good vibes - have done some sweet ones while in Melb. Love going and checking out epic new places, sites, bars around Melbourne and Vic , love a drink on the weekends but am not a party animal, i would only go out every 2/3 weeks. That being said would be epic to have a party every once and a while - definitely not a deal breaker if thats off the table though. Super clean and tidy but not anal about it! Have a car so happy to give lifts if need be! Overall just looking for a chill environment with chill people - life is stressful enough as it is, home is for good vibes. Ta
I am the cleanest male you will ever meet! :D Love to socialize and have yarns with others. Will probably be too dead during the week, but pretty chill on Sundays and Saturday nights. Currently working full time for Mercedes Benz. Hobbies include gym, computer stuff, drinking and clubbing If you are willing to put up with my kiwi accent, give us a buzz!
Hi Im Shawn; recently relocated to Melbourne from Sydney to do further study and for a fresh start. I study full time (science & commerce), and have just completed bachelors in Arts (Philosophy) and Medicine at the UNSW - so just getting a broad-based undergraduate education- aka don't know what I really want to do in life. I know there's a real world out there somewhere - but one's reality is what one makes of it. I am honest, decadent, carefree, playful, and take pleasure in the lost art of conversation. I'm usually quite sociable and I enjoy drinking wine, reading, sailing, mathematics, philosophy, gallery showings, and painting in my free time. (i have recently started to dabble in painting - there's something therapeutic about flirting with colour)
Hi I'm Ash, currently looking for a room for a possible 12 month lease. I am studying my Masters at the University of Melbourne and in between that try to earn some money. In my spare time I love keeping fit, catching up with friends for coffee and going on adventures. I'm looking for housemates who wouldn't mind the occasional glass of wine on a week night or netflix binge.
HI I'm Manami from Japan. I'm currently looking for a room where I can move in this November. Since I'm going back to my country for a month, I need to move out. But I'll come back in Melbourne around the end of October. I'm very clean and tidy, also easy going and friendly. No Cat.
A friendly, independent and outgoing individual who enjoys living in a nice home. I am looking for a furnished room with ensuite/my own bathroom. I would prefer not to live with pets. Some more about me : Im a professional who works in the consulting/professional services industry so typical 9-5 during the week with some travel. I like to keep fit during the week and socialise or chill or both at the weekend! Very respectful of others privacy but also happy to enjoy the odd vino and be social from time to time. Looking for similar minded flatmate. Any questions please ask away 😊
Hello hello! I'm Jess, a 29 year-old contractor working full time in Project Management. I'm very excited to move back to my old stomping ground in the East, with all of the amazing food and coffee, and proximity to the Tan. About me: I'm a very friendly creature and enjoy creating a warm and welcoming environment at home, with the occasional shared meal and vino. 😊 Like everyone though, I like my space and am respectful of everyone's down time. I'm an avid yogi and runner and have just signed up for my first marathon in October. Needless to say, I like to keep fit so am usually pretty busy during the week either catching up with my running crew or hanging with my friends. On weekends I love to head to brunch, and go for mini hiking adventures in the great outdoors. I've not long returned to Melbourne from an internship at a human rights NGO in Johannesburg, and have just finished off the last subject of my law degree at Monash Uni, so am looking for my next little side hustle - preferably with a social focus. If creating a friendly and chilled home sounds like your vibe, then I'd be interested to hear from you!
Hey! My name is Eren and I am a mechanical engineer, easy going, dance instructor at the same time. I have my guitar with me so we can have lots of fun. I like watching movies, drinking, cooking and sharing with people and finally dancing of course. I can teach lots of moves for fun :) Searching for clean, tidy and nice furnished houses to rent. I like going out with friends and up for any events so it is nice having me on your side :)
I'm 34 from India and have just finished my studies in conservation science from UQ in Brisbane. I'm now working part-time as an RA at Melbourne University while I look for full-time postdoctoral positions. I'm not strictly vegetarian but happy to not bring any meat in the house. I love animals but don't own one. I go for yoga, would like to find dance classes close to where I will live and mostly spend my days working on my research. I am social and enjoy having a beer or a cup of tea with close friends in the evening. But I also enjoy being on my own so I'm not needy in terms of company! I am also extremely (!!) tidy, so much so that one of my previous shared houses still seems to be swearing by my tidiness standards even though I've been long gone from that house 😃 Please get in touch if I sound like the right fit for your house.
Sean and I are from England. We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and are looking for a place to call home from mid August - mid December. Sean is a barista and I am a baker of cakes 👨🏻👩🏾🍳☕️🍰🍩 we both work full time. Our budget is $300-400 pw. We are an easy going couple and our main interests include; food, music, cartoons, cake (Karishma), video games (Sean) and more food. We like our home to be a place to chill (not a party house) and to socialise over a beer or three with our pals at pubs 🍻 We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy.
Jital and I are moving out to start a new chapter in our lives. We are a simple, non fussy couple who will generally be out and about most of the day, either hunting for a job, or working (once we get a job). We like keeping our things tidy and are social but also respect the housemates' privacy.
I am very easy going and friendly. Not much of a party person. More of a camping person though. I love to travel and explore places.
Hi, Im from New Zealand! I have a full-time job in Events and Marketing. I'm a bubbly person who loves her own space, and am a little pedantic about communal areas (super mindful of others). I'm not your party type girl, but I do love sleeping in and eating - so you'll probably find me in my room or in the kitchen cooking. I am a night time dweller, and won't usually be home during the day because of work. Looking for a place with a move in date in mid-october. I'm flexible when it comes to rent and bond. I have a house-trained cat called Coco, she's pretty chilled out and independent. We both are. Looking for a place that's social, has great chat but that is also relaxed. I'm clean, organised and super friendly. Any questions or team ups hmu :):):)
Hey - we're two friends looking for a place to live. Adam is working full time in project management and construction and Oscar is working in education until he goes back to studying his literature honours. We're both chilled and outgoing people who love a good banter. Both love board games and a casual drink. We're excited to meet some cool and open minded people.
Hello there! I am a Taiwanese girl staying in Melbourne for at least six months. I'm looking for a place to settle down from mid September. I am clean and tidy, love to social but also need my down time and respect others. Although I'm on my working holiday visa, I'm definitely not the party kind. I plan to settle down with a full time job and continue to live a simple and healthy lifestyle while experiencing the culture. A part time yogi, full time foodie, enjoy cooking occasionally and exploring the city. Here's more about my background, I am a 30 yo actress from Taiwan, and I also own a little Korean restaurant in the middle of Taipei city. I studied in America from age 16~22, so I have no problem communicating in English. I'm at the place in my life where I want to take a little break from my routine life, and experience living in another country again! I love my job in acting and also have a great amount of interest in restaurant business. My future goal is to open another cafe back home, so I'll most likely be looking for jobs in cafes or restaurants to learn more about the business. Ive heard that Melbourne is full of great cafes and restaurants, and I just can't wait to be surrounded by them :)
Hi! We are Madi and Sam, a young couple from America and England (respectively). We met in Thailand, where I (Madi) am teaching English for a year, but will look towards hospitality once in Australia. Sam is a roofer who loves being outdoors, working with his hands, and staying busy. We love adventures and learning, so museums, weekend beach trips, and searching for the best food/beer in the area are frequent hobbies, but we're not above a tv show marathon (no Game of Thrones spoilers please, we're very far behind). We are a pretty chill pair, and will not get too rowdy, but are usually open to a couple beers and good food after work and will both pull our weight with housework. Bonus: if you have a pet we will love it like our own :)
