Hi, I'm Kat, a 38-year-old professional who recently relocated to Brisbane from Sydney after a promotion in my government career. I work from home three days a week and am looking for a large room with my own bathroom in or around the Brisbane CBD.

I live a pretty low-key lifestyle and am looking for a housemate who values a calm, clean, and respectful home. I'm very tidy, considerate, active, and spend a lot of my free time outdoors enjoying hiking, camping, running, beach days, and catching up with friends. While I'm sociable and friendly, I also enjoy my own space and love spending quiet evenings reading or relaxing in my bedroom - I will value your space just as I value my own.

I'm well past the party stage and highly value my sleep, so I'm not looking for a house with lots of foot traffic, late nights, or constant guests. I do enjoy the occasional glass of red wine, a nice dinner, or relaxed social catchups.

I'm happy to live with pets if they're well-behaved and the home is well maintained and clean. I'd love to get a cat in the future, so bonus points if you're comfortable with that.

I'm open to living with singles or couples, although my preference is to share with a single woman who has a similar lifestyle. I'm not looking to move until around Christmas, but I'm flexible for the right place and person.
