I'm really easy going and spend most of my time either training, work or uni. I'm very polite and easy to get along with and respect other people's space. I'm always up for a laugh and I'm not really into partying as I train for Triathlons most days of the week.
Hi I'm Jake, full time Electrician, part time pilot. Originally from the country, been in Brisbane for just over 8 months and love it. Neat and tidy, especially in the kitchen because i love to cook. I'm very relaxed and easy going, love a beer and a chat. Very social, I like to get out and about and go to gigs or sporting events, really like to have people around me. I work away a lot too so i'm not home a great deal. I surf most w.e.s and play touch through the week, play golf when ever i can. I'm sports mad. I would really like to live with people who i'd want to hang out with even if we didn't live under the same roof. Friends more than housemates would be a better description so location and type of accommodation doesn't bother me a great deal, more who i'm going to sit on the lounge with. I do smoke but i'm trying to quit again so hopefully it sticks this time, very respectful smoker though, i'll walk a block just so you don't have to smell it I'm pretty much your typical 28 yr old single country tradie, bit of an occa but my mates would say I'm a bit of hipster. anyway i look forward to hearing from you! Cheers Jake
Hey i'm Zoe! A little about me, I work full time M-F in advertising. I'm pretty social and definitely enjoy a few drinks on weekends! I'm ideally looking to live with someone like-minded, who's up for a chat in the evenings or an adventure on weekends. I also have a cat who will be coming along for the ride named Murph. I'm a tiny bit OCD when it comes to keeping the place clean, but think of it as a positive! I have everything you need to furnish an entire house, so someone who's keen to find somewhere unfurnished and without much of their own furniture would be ideal, but not essential! Can also offer Foxtel* to seal the deal. I'm looking to move to Newstead/Teneriffe area to be a bit closer to work/play. Move date is very flexible at this point, just wanted to start putting some feelers out there in the meantime, but hoping to find someone to team up with and find a new place together :) If you're interested in knowing more, or think we might make a good team, please feel free to get in touch! *basics package ;)
Clean, easy going, happy person, full time worker within Fortitude Valley. I like to spend time at the beach, outdoors and socialise on the weekends, whether that be by having some drinks and going out, to the local market or stand up paddleboarding. Quiet during the week as I work Monday- Friday. A lot of weekends I spend in NSW.
I’m a clean and tidy non smoking 35 year old and respectful of others around the home. I feel young at heart with an easy going nature and seem to be able to get along with anyone. Also I work full time as a dental nurse and enjoy the company of family and friends. I love outings, travel, outdoor activities and some times a bit of quiet time for myself and reading. Looking forward to some new adventures in Brisbane :)
Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
Hi, I'm Josh, 28, moved down from the Sunshine Coast for work. Very easy going, tidy and quiet. I mostly keep to myself but I do like to chat and drink occasionally. Not into the party scene. I work in Telecommunications and on my days off I like to watch TV and spend time on my computer. I enjoy cooking. I don't have any pets but do like animals.
Working full time as a freelance software developer and digital designer, respectful of others, looking for a place with chilled peeps. I enjoy my alone time, but down to hang out in the evenings and have a few drinks here and there. Love to cook and make the most of the weekends. I work odd hours due to working with international teams, sometimes in the middle of the night, but just from my computer so don't have to worry about noise. I also work a lot on my own software company which is pre-launch, so if you're an entrepreneurial type of person I think we'll get along swimmingly, and if not, I think we'll get along fine anyway :-)
We are a couple that are looking at house sharing with like minded people. We both work full time and enjoy spending weekends with friends or out exploring. We are into healthy eating and keeping healthy in general. We would love to find some house mates to have fun around ie: a drink and bbq on weekends with, so if you are like minded easy to get along with and enjoy life we would love to hear from you :)
Hi future housemate/s we are a young married couple who both work away. I travel a lot for work & most weeks am only home on average 3-4 days out of the week. My husband also works away & is a FIFO worker doing 2weeks on 2 weeks off. We are not orginally from Brisbane so we do not know to many people although we do love to socialise. We both are pretty active people & love to be out & about. We are looking for any like minded people who are trustworthy, clean, respectful, down to earth & enjoy a drink a laugh. We are not party animals but we do enjoy a bbq & a drink. We are only looking for a 4-6month lease at this stage as we are inbetween selling and buying again. We would like to have our own bathroom and a room that is big enough to have a tv. Our own balcony or outdoor space would be ideal. We don't have much preference for area to live in as long as we are within close proximity of the city. Our budget is $300 with bills included. We would love to be near a train station but it is not a deal breaker. We are also interested in teamups with person/couple that work fulltime. We love animals but not inside. Anyhow feel free to message. Look forward to meeting :)
I'm looking for a place Nov 2018 for 6 months to one year. Flexible on location: South Bank, Paddo, New Farm, etc. I'm a med student at UQ so gone during the day and studying at night but I'm social and very active. Would prefer my own bathroom and to live with professionals in their mid-20s/30s. Usually find my way to the coast on the weekend or doing something outside, love dogs and GoT.
Hi, I am a 23 year old female looking for a new home for myself and my cat. I work part-time and study nursing full time (graduating end of this year). I am a very clean and organised person who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and playing video games. I am also a very relaxed person who is accepting of all lifestyles. My cat is named Ravioli and he is a domestic short hair cross Maine Coon. He is a VERY cuddly and loving cat who is constantly purring. He is very lazy and loves his food. His personality is more similar to a dogs as he is friendly to everyone and will follow people around. He is currently an indoor cat but if the surrounding area is safe, I may encourage him to go outside.
I'm an young professional that is moving up from Canberra who likes to keep fit and active. Chilled out, easygoing and really fun. Looking for people that are a similar age who I can have a laugh with and socialise
I'm very chilled and easy to get along with, clean, tidy and a non smoker. I'm happy, positive and love being outdoors. I run my own business and paid acting work as well as drive Uber. I'm a very social person and enjoy a wine every now and then. I'd love to live somewhere with a like minded happy person.
Recently got back from overseas and looking for a new place for me and my dog. I have a 3 year old cattle dog cross, her name is Flame and she is completely house trained and very friendly. Looking for a laid back house with housemates who like to be a little social. I'm very respectful of privacy & personal space. Would ideally like to form friendships with my future housemates. I work full time Mon-Fri and am usually out on weekends at the coast with my dog or having drinks with mates.
Hi! I'm looking to find a nice apartment to share with one other in Newfarm/Teneriffe/ Newstead January next year when my current lease it up. I work full time and lead an active lifestyle, so when I am home I like to relax and keep mainly to myself, although I'm happy to chat and share a wine or two at the weekends! I like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy and hoping to find someone who shares similar values. Interested in health and fitness, social drinks, and love the beach. Send me a message if you think we would be a good fit :)
I come with a NutriBullet, 2 Apple TVs and a Boston Shaker! I am 25, from the Sunshine Coast originally, have lived in Brisbane full time since February. I am looking for a place somewhere in The Valley, New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, Bowen Hills, or West End. Would like to live with either 1 or 2 other people. I am a bit of a clean freak when it comes to the kitchen and other common area's, so I would like to live with someone who understands this. I work in hotels, so I am a shift worker. I have shifts were I start at 630am, finish at 11pm, or someone I have to do the dreaded overnight shift, so I need to live with someone who understands this and is respectful of this. I do keep to myself 90% of the time, some have called me a hermit, however I am happy to sit down and have a glass of wine every now and then.
I am relatively new to Brisbane! Have been living in my own apartment since I got here 4 months ago, however I am wanting to 1) save some money and 2) meet some new people! I work in sales and am quite social. I am a music lover and get out to gigs as often as I can. I love the beach and just generally getting out and about. If you have a dog I will love it like family.
I am originally from Brazil. I have been in Brissy for almost 6 years and I speak fluent english. I currently work full time anywhere from 6am- 4pm (including weekends). I also love exercise, I go 5 times a week as well. I’m non judgemental, easygoing, honest, down to earth and can sometime binge watch Netflix. And I am good with plants even though I only own 2
Hi I am a professional Dutch female, looking for a lovely homely place with one other person and with my own bathroom. I am clean, have a positive personality, active lifestyle and meet friends usually away from home as home is a place to quiet down for me. I love hiking, yoga, nature, dancing and don't watch much TV although I really enjoy watching the occasional movie with a housemate ;) I work in the afternoons, late evenings and weekends (I’m working in health industry) and it works well to share with someone who works regular 9-5 pm business hours. I sometimes sleep till late morning if I had a late shift and look for a home that's quiet in the morning. Looking foward to meeting you :) Martine
I am a full time worker in the city and doing uni subjects online for QUT. I got to the gym most afternoons / mornings and I tend to keep myself pretty busy. However I don't love anything more than a wine and chit chat :) although I do like my down time, I do like to socialize on the weekends whether it be dinner or drinks with friends in new farm or the city
