Bonjour guys, originally from the south of France I have been living in Brisbane for about 8 years. I am looking to move out of a place I own to rent it out and enjoy the company of great flatmates so I am flexible with my moving date. I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. I am also a people's person who enjoys socialising and sharing great conversations. I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach, the outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, movies, formula 1 and trying new things. I hope to find like minded flat/housemates who are clean and respectful. Lastly I would prefer a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need a locked garage please. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
I work in Hotel Management and have just moved to Brisbane for work. I am a young professional and generally work Monday to Friday in the CBD. I live an active lifestyle and like to keep fit; I am relaxed, clean and tidy and enjoy good food and a couple of drinks on the weekend. I am looking for housemates that share a similar lifestyle, maintain a clean and tidy house and don't mind winding down with a couple of beers at the end of the week.
My name is Beau. I'm 33 and I have been working in Bulimba (full-time) for 4 years. Fairly quiet person and easy to get along with. I'm not a party animal but I do enjoy my social latin dancing as much as possible. I enjoy a sociable drink and I'm a non-smoker. My option of 3 months stay is just so we can find out if I'm a good fit, which I'm sure I am. But no pressure. I'll consider a longer term stay for the right room.
Social, clean, respectful, non smoker. Full time worker at newstead looking for a new place as my current lease is up mid July and looking for a change 😊 Happy to house with another single or more and prefer to be close to the citycat/ferry
I am looking to move out with someone at the end of July. I am looking to rent a new two bedroom, two bathroom and have the master room with ensuite :) I would like to meet the right roommate so coffee or meeting to make sure we get along would be awesome! I work as an event manager and I am often very busy or away for 5 days at a time. I would love to live with someone who is respectful of my furnishings as I have mostly everything for the humble abode and all I would need to buy is a new fridge. Most of my furniture is industrial sheek :) I am tidy and always clean up after myself. I am super friendly and mostly chill when I home home from work but I do occasionally go out. I enjoy going to the gym, rap music, going to the coast, watching netflix and wine and cheese.
Hey, I'm Rachel and I'm 23 :) I'm looking for a private room in a flatshare for a maximum of $220 a week. Ideally I'm looking to move in early-mid June (2017), I'm flexible with the exact date. And I'd like to stay until the end of September 2017. I'm happy to stay anywhere in inner Brisbane, as long as it's less than a 30 minute bus/train into the CBD then I'm happy! I'm a philosophy graduate from Scotland and I love to engage in the occasional deep discussion! I love animals so if you live with a furry companion that is an absolute bonus!! I go to a yoga class 5 days a week and I play netball on Sundays. I'm also currently trying to learn Spanish, so if you can speak Spanish that would be fantastic! I'm reliable, friendly and really easy to live with. I'd definitely describe myself as a clean and tidy person so ideally I'd like to live with others who are like minded- I don't mind the odd dish left on the kitchen counter if you've had a busy day but I don't like finding dishes in the cupboard that have old food stuck to it or mould in showers. I'd love flatmates that I could watch tv with at the end of the day or share a drink with on the weekend- I'm always up for making new friends! I'm looking for flatmates around my age, so anywhere between 18-38 is great with me! I'm happy to live with guys or girls. If you have a room that sounds suitable I'd love to check it out! Many thanks, Rachel
Hellllooo future housemate! I am outgoing, open-minded, love to meet new people, always have something positive to say, love soulful conversations and supporting my friends! I am moving to Brisbane from the Gold Coast for my new exciting job in Newstead and do not have any pets (even though I'd love to have them). I spend my Tuesday and Thursday nights dancing, other nights I may be cuddled up in bed watching a movie, reading a book, doing work, socialising or at the gym. I am also not a big drinker, but happy to have an occasional glass of wine (or cider or rum) and do not club much. I do love music though and you will probably find me singing or dancing around my room and if there are people over I'll either be socialising with you or in my room doing my own thing (if that's what you prefer). I truly value home as being a personal space to relax and unwind or to grind and get work done. I am interested in finding a room of my own in a share house with like minded, fun and mature individuals or teaming-up! :D
Hi, I am not moving to Brisbane until JULY. I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni prac's, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and would ideally like to live somewhere close to the CBD/Nth of the CBD and the main hospitals with a nice homely feel and my own bathroom would be great! I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed, and as an added bonus also works in the health sector. I will be moving to another new city so and not know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus!
I run a training and advisory company called Dent Global. We help entrepreneurs grow their business and stand out in their industry. The business keeps me busy and I do a bit of travel interstate as a result. When I'm at home I love health and wellness, go to the gym and prefer my Sunday to a raging hangover from the night before. But that's not to say I don't enjoy a wine and letting my hair down with mates and housemates! Currently live in Sydney with a crew of three others - all get along really well and lead a pretty easy-going home life.
I'm a really down to earth person, neat and tidy. I enjoy peace and quiet every now and then but also like to be sociable on weekends. I have a 7-year-old cavoodle, she only weighs about 4kgs so she doesn't need much room. I most likely wouldn't have her with me all the time as she'll be with my dad mostly. I work 2-3 nights a week until 1:30am so I normally sleep on my days off from uni. I'm looking to live with someone who I have things in common with. I'd love to live in a friendly environment with people I can call my friends. I'm looking to move around August/September this year and am interested in finding a place that's more long-term. If you think we'd be a good fit feel free to send me a message :)
I work in a corporate job in the city approximately 10 hours a day (sometimes longer) and am very much into fitness/healthy lifestyle. I like to head out on a Friday night, but enjoy quieter nights throughout the week. I take pride in having a clean house and prioritise maintaining a clean environment.
I'm a young professional who works in Brisbane CBD full time. I lead a healthy lifestyle and am usually up early in the morning to exercise (I love running, practise Pilates & occasionally yoga). That being said, I'm all about balance and I love to relax over a few wines and a good cheese platter. I'm looking to share with other young professionals who like to keep things relatively quiet during the week but don't mind to liven up a little on the weekend.
I'm easy to live with, clean, mindful, respect people's personal space and responsible. Full time student. I focus on my study and prefer "quiet environment." I'm quiet during the weekdays and socialize on the weekend, I like movies and drive down to the coast. I am sociable and don't mind have one or two drinks sometime. No party animals! Happy to hang out with my housemate but also likes my own time. To share with 1 person only, a house or apartment. Self contained granny flat/one bedroom flat with secure car park. Looking to share with like minded people. Until then good luck:)
Me :-) - 23 year old full time laser technician/ dermal therapist/ beauty therapist - Reliable - Trustworthy - Friendly - Tidy/clean - Respectful - Enjoys making big meals that I can't possibly eat all myself ;-) - New to Brisbane. Originally from Sydney, grew up in Coffs Harbour and have spent almost the last 3 years in the Gold Coast. Would prefer to be close to busses/ train station so I can get to work easier in the mornings and night when I finish. I am desperate to find somewhere that might be happy to accept no bond or just an extra week as I'm going through a lot at the moment to move out of where I am and really don't have anything to spare. Molly - Taco Terrier cross Maltese x Shihtzu - Toy size - 100% toilet trained - I keep her clipped so she doesn't shed any hair. She's white with some organge bits on her. - She is a good little guard dog and will bark if someone comes near the house. I don't discourage this because it could alert me to something not quite right. However, she will shut up if you tell her to. In saying that she's usually very quiet. - Gets along well with other dogs. Grown up with staffys and other small dogs. - Loves people. Bit funny with kids. I have never seen her attack or bite anyone. She just doesn't like how in her face they can be.
We're easy going and tidy people. I'm from Finland, working in Tourism/hospitality, interested in travelling, dancing, horses, yoga, photography, vegetarian food etc. My boyfriend Chris is a local, working as a plumber apprentice. We both love dogs so we would love to live with a few (we dont have any pets ourselves at the moment) :)
I'm a 24 year old physiotherapist working full time. I'm looking to either join a house or start a new lease with a new group of people. I love to cook and play sport plus get a bit creative with macrame, gardening or restoring old furniture. A place in New Farm would be ideal for it's proximity to walking paths and the river. I'm a very tidy person and not only do i love cooking but also cleaning! (what a weirdo, i know...). I love to keep busy with friends and sport and so once i decide on where to move i'll be joining a number of sporting teams which will probably take up my week nights. Otherwise i'm keen to have a few wines while cooking dinner and catching up with everyone else. On the weekends if i'm not at the coast, i love a casual get together with a few drinks and friends. I love a good amount of sleep and enjoy some alone time at times and respect that others are like this also, so unless you want me to, i won't be cramping your style. I'm looking for housemates who are like minded and easy going yet interesting and social.
I am very easy going and love my own space. I am always up for a chat, dinner, drinks etc on the weekends. During the week I'm a bit of a hermit. Mostly just work then home, work then home. I respect common areas and always tidy up after myself, however, my bedroom is my bedroom and will usually end up pretty untidy. I have a 3 year old Chihuahua X Jack russell. He is super friendly loves cuddles and gets along with other dogs fine. Not terrible with cats, just not great. I always pay rent and bills on time. I am really just looking for a stress free environment for me and Charles.
I don't think I spend too much money on avocados and lattes, but that house deposit is just not going to happen. So while I'm stuck in the share house situation, may as well make the most of it. Neat, tidy and happy to help around the house. I'm a journalist full time so my hours are weird, random and long. But that means I come with a free newspaper subscription in actual paper form. Looking for a space in the New Farm, Newstead, Tenerife area preferably in a Queenslander setting with people who are chilled out and good for a yarn and a wine once in a while.
Hi, I'm a friendly, and respectable 23 year old Australian who works as an Accounts Manager in Fortitude Valley. I also study part time online. I am clean and tidy, happy to chat and hangout. I don't make noise and I love to cook! Currently living in Newstead but as my relationship has just ended I am looking for somewhere that allows me to still walk to work. I enjoy art, reading, socialising, gym, and dance :). If I sound like a good match to live with to you please message me.
Hey :) my name is Tasha and I work as a HR advisor in the finance industry. I love what I do and am generally really busy in the week. I like to come home and relax and would like to live with housemate(s) that keep a clean and tidy place and are generally house proud. I enjoy cooking, drinking nice wine, playing netball, heading to the beach, watching tv and just generally catching up with mates for some laughs. I would ideally like to live with people who have a balance of respecting each other's space but also want to be friends. If this sounds like you, please get in touch :) early July move in date but can be flexible on this.
