Not a student ,only want to share with one other person. I love living with anyone. I’m happy, hardworking. Don’t mind a nice glass of wine and a movie. Will cook dinner for anyone. I am very neat and clean without being obsessive. Love great chats and sometimes just chilling in my room watching a movie or reading a book. Very active and love day trips hiking or to the beach. Can do 6 or 12 months
Professional, clean, helpful & considerate housemate. Looking to move in with adult(s) but not too serious. I drink funky wine, cook and dig for music. I work in a part-time role as a craft spirits rep three days a week and usually Dj most weekends. Sun/Monday's my 5yr old boy stays with me. (He's chilled and behaves, but is still a 5yr old) Any other free time I ride my mt bike for exercise, check out bars, food spots and try to hang out with friends as much as possible. Happy being lazy sometimes too after a busy working week, getting takeaway, watching movies and always have music around me. I travel fairly regularly and work a lot too. Dislikes: writing about myself on websites *Off street parking is fairly necessary.
I'm a French neuroscience student in London and I'll just have the chance to go on a placement year (between 2nd and 3rd year) in Australia! I just need honest, clean and sociable people to live with really. Need to move in on the 14TH OF JANUARY and stay between 6 and 9 months. I can move in earlier or a bit later if you really are amazing haha I’m already in Brisbane so hmu!
Hey, I'm looking for a lovely new place to live around the end of January, as my current little flat is too expensive on my own, and I'm having no luck renting out the second room. I'm a Barista in Bulimba, so I've got the great coffee links, and also super happy to never talk to another living soul after work 😄 Happy to keep to myself for some down time, but would prefer to find some people I genuinely enjoy living with. I enjoy reading, music, a good Netflix binge, cocktails>wine, good food, creating art of various types, great coffee, travel and gardening. I'd prefer somewhere with at least a small yard, as I am a packaged deal and come with my 6 yo cat Corby (and I also have some plants and flowers) She's full of love when she's hungry, otherwise she doesn't mind what the go is. In an ideal world, you're happy to feed my cat a few times, in exchange for me being awol at my partners house for a day or two. I have a car, happy to park it on the street. I also have everything a place needs;fridge, washing machine, 6 seater corner couch, bookshelves, small appliances etc. I'm looking for anywhere inner North or inner east, but really not too fussed. Happy to catch up with people and work out if we'd be a good fit, then eventually go on the house hunt together!
Hello, I'm a full-time uni student (Chiropractic degree) and part-time myotherapist (business owner). I'm 25, non smoker, non drinker, yogi, with no pets. I'm pretty quiet, easy going and open minded. I'd prefer a studio apartment to rent near or in West End however I am open to moving into a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom living space sharing with another female. I'm looking to move any time between December 2018 - February 2019.
Hi there! I’m Elisse, 30 years young, and I’ve been living in the Middle East for the last three years working in airlines. I moved back earlier this year and spent some time recharging from all the adventures (and jet lag!) and spending time with family. I’m super keen and ready for some quirky city life again now, so looking for a fab housemate (furry cat-mates are absolutely welcome). I LOVE river walks so looking for something super close to the river, and also not too far from the city for dinners and drinks. Own bathroom would be pretty awesome, and a housemate who is equally chill and positive as me would be wonderful. Ideally off street/covered parking space, and one housemate (or possibly a couple) would be preferable. Looking for something available for around 5 months, but possibly ongoing. I enjoy yoga, walks, health and gym, delicious food, wine, wine and cheese nights, squash, escape rooms and trying anything new and novel. If you think we might cohabitate well, let me know!
If you're looking for a respectful yet witty house mate who consistently blows your mind with greatness, then look no further. I'm a 24 year old QUT communications student in my final year of study, working part time as a digital media coordinator and an army reservist on the side. A solid thirst for fitness and everything outdoors aid mid-semester procrastination..so when I'm not 'hitting the books', that's where you'll find me. Clean, conscientious and like a beer almost as much as a protein shake. Cheers Kyle
Hello! We are Willem and Cristina a couple from Europe and we are looking for an aparartment to live during our stay in Brisbane. We arrived the 12th of November, and we are already looking for a job and an accommodation. We are clean, peaceful, hardworking, and responsable. Hi! My name is Jess, I work full time in a bar and have a super cool cat who loves belly scratches and cuddles 😊 I love going to festivals and going out on my time off to places like the beach and driving to places to find crystals. I’ve been living in share housing for a few years and am very clean, respectful but love to sit down for a chat and a drink too 💜😊
Hey world, My name is Sam and I am looking for a place to live for the next 6 months minimum. I am a pretty easy going character that enjoys a chat and good food. During the week I work full time and usually try to do some form or exercise daily. My weekends are spent either out seeing friends, watching sport or heading to the beach. I do enjoy a drink on the weekends but am not the type to be hosting kick ons or going into the morning. Just looking to live with someone who is chilled tidy and shares similar interests. Feel free to shoot me a message if you think we might be on the same page. Cheers, Sam.
Hi:) I'm Regina and I'm in my 1st year studying natural health science at Endeavour college so I'm into health and nutrition and do my best to live a healthy lifestyle. I currently live in Mount Gravatt so looking for a place more close to the city. I'm planning to move sometime between mid-December or early January. I spend my time going to the gym, occasionally hiking and yoga, shopping, or reading. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom and off street parking but it will depend on what's available. Message me if you think we'd match or would like to know more. I'm also open for team-ups:) Regina
I am a mental health support worker and moving to Brisbane to complete my postgraduate studies in health. We are looking for 1-2 like minded house mates to join us in our lovely home in Coorparoo. We each study design, work part time and are quite social but enjoy our own time. Looking for someone who is considerate and chilled out but doesn’t mind a few drinks and boogie on the weekends xx Need someone who takes initiative in doing household chores!! We also have a 1 year old cat called Lenni who’s very friendly! Plant lovers and triple j listeners preferred
I'm a chemical engineer currently doing his PhD studies at UQ. I consider myself very clean and I like to live in a tidy and comfortable environment. I like photography, music, addicted to concerts, cooking and sharing with the people I live with, also respecting each others space. I am looking for alternatives closer to the city and UQ and I would consider moving into a nice house with mature respectful people.
!Looking for Aug-Nov 2019! I am just a girl from Germany that loves adventures and wants to make some great memories. Currently I still go to school, but since I’m graduating next year I wanna take one year off and spend parts of it in Brisbane to travel and work there. I am a really tidy and clean person and usually get along with pretty much anyone. I love doing sport and spending time out. Furthermore I love to travel and experience new things. I love to meet new people and hope to find somebody out there I can stay with.
My name is Chris. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine, water (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I love bike riding, and walking I respect the environment, love being in nature and do my best to lessen my impact on the planet. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of random things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - some fave authors: Will Self, William Gibson, Kurt Vonnegut, Anna Funder... I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail And I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 12 years as a public servant, which sometimes feels longer. I have travelled overseas a fair bit in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Canada, to several holidays in Europe and a trip to India. I love animals - cats in particular I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. So obviously I just love hanging out at Netherworld. Love trivia nights too I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket, don’t mind a bit of soccer, and enjoy the odd game of squash with one of my besties too, though we're still a bit hazy on all the rules.... There's probably something really obvious about me that I've left out...
I am a genuine, honest person. I'm clean and house proud, I've been in my own place and am looking to move somewhere with a yard and aircon and more people 😂 I love a good chat and a post work debrief and I am actually interested in making friends and will not just go hide in my room all the time. My winning move is that I have a cat who is super cute and loves to play.
I'm looking to start a new lease in a nice 2 bedroom apartment somewhere either in the valley or around it. I'm looking at Peppers or something modern like that, with a gas stove and balcony. I'm working full time in a government job, I'm basically an extroverted nerd, I read a lot of books, listen to pod casts or audio books. I'm a fan of culture, I enjoy doing a lot of everything, experiencing new things. I play video games, but now i'm more focused on my career and entrepreneurial ventures. I'm very clean, I say fuck a lot, I listen to rap the majority of the time. I like muay thai fighting, yoga and going to the gym very regularly. I would say i'm a very disciplined, get shit done but laid back person as well. I don't complain I'm courteous of your space, your things and noise. I like to be social, have dinner together, talk over some champagne or whatever. I don't care if you're messy as long as that mess stays in your room. I don't care if you like to keep to yourself, you're introverted or whatever. I'm very chill, laid back, but also like to party so I enjoy the night life and having some drinks on the weekend. Moving in with new people I like to be very clear with boundaries and expectations from the get go soo... Thing's that bug me. - using unnecessary amounts of electricity, not turning off power points. - Leaving a new toilet paper roll on top of an empty roll. - Not washing both sides of dishes, or half of dishes. - Leaving oil and grime on dishes. - Leaving oil that's been spat off from the stove on the floor and surrounding areas. - Leaving mess anywhere other than your room. - Being loud when it's late on a work night. Not trying to close doors/draws quietly, etc. I generally wear earplugs so If I wake up wearing them then there will be problems haha. - If sharing bathroom, using my shampoo and stuff without asking, I generally dont care if you want to use it. - Not cleaning up hair, makeup and toothpaste in the bathroom, leaving skid marks, leaving marks on the mirrors. - Not doing all of the above then changing your mind later on. Other than that I don't really care what you do 🙃
