I’m easy going and pretty flexible with my times. I am going to be studying my masters at UQ in July. Need to look for someone who’s mature and respect other people’s privacy as well as a friendly personality. Someone who’s chill and possibly becoming a good friend. I’ve been living in Melbourne for the past year working full time sharing an apartment with another housemate. Everything is going good but I’m coming back to finish my study. I enjoy nights out or stay at home, either way, I’m happy. Not a huge party animal but won’t mind if you do xx I do have a car so I need a car space :) I do own a small online business that requires me to make handmade product throughout the week :) My families live in Brisbane as well and I am just coming back from Melbourne so looking for a place to stay long term Lastly move in date is flexible
Full-time student working part-time at Coles. Big sports fan and do a lot of rock climbing in my spare time not big on clubbing but enjoy drinks at home. Clean and respectable.
Hardworking and friendly. Enjoy keeping busy and staying active. Would make a good housemate because I’m a clean and tidy person who will pay rent and bills on time. I like to keep to myself during down time but also don’t mind the occasional social drink. Hoping to find a warm cosy place to stay that can offer laid back atmosphere as well the convenience of local shops and public transport :)
Hey there I'm Stephmo (they/them pronouns). My housemate, Kavita, and I are moving to a bigger, better place to start a new sharehouse! (Current lease is up in the start of June). We are looking for one or two other people who wish to join us on this adventure to find a sweet new pad. Looking quite strictly in these areas: Kangaroo Point, West End, East Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, New Farm. I have a rescue dog, Jedda. She has issues with other animals so will have to be the solo doggo at this house. (Housemates will need to be onboard with having her around the house and preferably up for cuddles, often). We have basic house furniture and appliances including fridge and washing machine but happy for more to be brought along and we can make it work! Maintaining an eco-friendly household is essential (if you aren't interested in at least basic recycling, then this won't work). About me: Queer, non-binary, feminist, pro-choice, anti-racist, lefty. I'm an adult who is pretty good at adulting, even though it's hard. I can do the things, pay the bills, keep the cleans, you know the deal. I have an all-too-real phobia of dirty tea-towels and sponges. I built a campervan last year and dream of living in a bus one day. Camping trips & outdoor adventures are life. About Kavita: Kavita | She/Her/Hers A PhD-er, focussed on smart cities, gender and social justice, whose dream is to be colocated to the QUT Gardens-Point campus. Her weekdays are uni-intensive and weekends are magical adventures. She: makes the occasional cake and curry for 'family' dinners. Likes to secretly do too much---gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, Brooklyn 99, bendy yoga, Handmaid's Tale, quiet lay-ins, tarot... We are both clean and tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I will remain 100% responsible for dog related things, aside from the aforementioned Jedda cuddles which are available 24/7. Kavita and I do enjoy our own space at times but keen for making real friendships with housemates who enjoy chats and the occasional drink/meal together! We both enjoy a quiet, peaceful household - definitely not a party place! If you think you'd be the right fit, send us a message!
I'm Brazilian and came to Australia with my wife to learn English. We are very clean tidy, friendly and respectful. We enjoy music, movie, sports and hangout. We are looking for a room with private bathroom and clean tidy and friendly flatmates.
Hello. I am a 34-year-old Brazilian, who are studying full time and working part-time. I am very respectful, organised and tidy. I enjoy sharing meals and have a drink sometimes, but I do not like a party house.
I like to be tidy, I don't party or make too much noise. I'll usually keep to myself to study but also enjoy being social! Currently a first-year student at QUT GP. I work for Guzman Y Gomez so can also hook you up with some burritos ;) I hope to go traveling next year, so I'm only looking for a term of 6-8 months.
We are a good laugh! We are also super chill and easy to live with, we aren’t massive party people but don’t mind a good bevvie every now and then. We are really looking for people who don’t mind having a chat but also enjoy their own space, keep shared areas cleans and tidy and animal lovers are a MUST! We have two little kittens 4 months old and they are inside cats, they are super social and are always down for a good cuddle. They are very mature and well trained for babies.
I have just returned from Europe, looking to start a new household within the Inner North Brisbane area. I'm tidy and respectful, and come with all my own furniture plus shared furniture: Large couch, dining table, large fridge, chairs, bar stools, coffee table, as well as plenty of kitchen goods such as plates, cutlery, etc. I am a photographer and composer, and I enjoy classical architecture, art in general, music, and the company of well rounded mature people. I am no longer into large chaotic parties, but will never say no to having good mature company round for dinner or a few glasses of wine and cheese. I'd like to live in a Queenslander, but it's not the end of the world if that doesn't pan out. I can move out whenever, but 22nd of may is a good guide date. I also already have an internet plan with Telstra cable ready to move, so no need to worry about plan start fees! I also don't have a car so no need to worry about fighting me for a car space.
I am a student, came to Brisbane almost a year ago and enjoy every day here✨ Looking for a nice bright accomondation for 6 months. As for me, I study full time at a university. Hi, I’m Trent, I’m 30years old and work full time as a plumber around Brisbane. I am reliable and very neat and tidy. I work Mon-Fri and pretty much hang out with mates on weekends. I live a fairly active lifestyle and also enjoy a drink every now and then. Preferably looking in West End, Paddington or Kangaroo Point areas, but all locations are welcome. Any other questions feel free to ask.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a nice place to settle in, preferably with lots of plants and books and a yard. I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but stoked to move back to brisbane now (I'm originally from currumbin but studied in brissy for years). I'm a professional editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll be doing volunteer charity work as well and various other things like camping, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. I clean up after myself without being asked, keep to myself a bit for most of the day but always up for a good chat over a coffee and keen for a community feel (i.e. house dinners, housemate picnics, whatever). 28, non-smoker, non-annoying. LGBTI+ friendly and all the good non-bigotted stuff. Cheers :)
I've just moved to Brisbane and I'm planning on staying for at least 6 months. I'm a friendly helpful person with many years' experience in house sharing. I'd consider myself as very tidy but I'm quite tolerant if you're not.;)
Hi there! I'm currently working full time in the community sector, and am out a lot so not intrusive to any potential housemate. Love meeting new people and learning from new ideas & perspectives, however also value my independence & downtime too. Looking for a housemate that is friendly, open-minded, tidy and respectful; someone I can engage with and have open, thought-provoking conversations with, while also respecting each other's personal space. Open to social gatherings, however ideally not looking for a party house.
Young couple moving to Brisbane, super easy going, we like to have a healthy lifestyle, we like to eat healthy do sports and keep the environment clean tidy and enjoyable to everyone. We are studying and working part time/casuals so we will stay little time at home! Ready to start this experience 🤙🏼
Hello, my name is Leanne and I am from Melbourne. I am moving to live in Brisbane over Easter and looking for my new home! I work full time Monday to Friday and spend most evenings at the gym or salsa/Spanish classes. I hope to spend my weekends explore all that my new city has to offer, so I won't be home too much. When I am am home, I usually spend my time binge-watching Netflix or chatting with friends on the phone, so would really love a quiet place where I can come home to relax. Prefer to do most of my socialising out of the home, and looking for a roommate who feels the same. Happy to share the odd glass of wine or meal, but not looking for a party house. Would prefer my own bathroom, but happy to share with one other if needed. I am looking for a non-smoking place with parking - prefer a month-by-month option, while I get settled in. I hope Brisbane will be a great new home for me, but would like some flexibility if I decide to move on. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
