Hey potential roomies, I'm Dani and I'm on the hunt to find a place to rent as my current lease ends May this year Little bit about me • Have lived out of home and on my own for nearly a year now so you could say that I have this adulting thing down pat (almost) • Am a very friendly, open minded and easy-going person • Currently working part time in a chemist and studying on the job • Health conscious and working towards a healthier lifestyle • As much as I enjoy socialising, I am a hermit at heart and love my alone time • Avid Netflix watcher and closet nerd (Star Wars fan and Walking Dead obsessed) My ideal place • Has a relaxed and comfortable yet fun vibe • Is close to public transport (as I don't own a vehicle) • Is not far from the city (hello, city adventures and nights out) • Is kept clean and organised and is aesthetically pleasing Also - I have a wifi modem so am happy to split the bill for you to use it too for endless browsing and Netflix watching fun Would love to move in with likeminded people (preferably female/s) where we can hang out as a crew or come and go as we please as we'll be sharing a living space so it's important to me that we get along and respect each other. I just got to Brisbane from Brazil. I'll be starting a masters a QUT. I am looking for a single bedroom (ensuite bathroom) to move in during the first week of march, when I'll be leaving the place I am right now. I expect to find a place where I can have some privacy to study, but also enjoy some time with friends occasionally.
Hi, I'm Emily :-) I am a young professional looking for accommodation near my work in Bulimba. SOUTH SIDE ONLY (I hate tolls and traffic - but don't we all??) I work full time and attend evening classes at uni so I am rather busy. I am in my final year at uni studying Business majoring in Advertising and Marketing and need a housemate who is respectful and mindful of my commitments and will not be excessively noisy or often have parties. I have most weekends off as I also work casually at Bunnings on Saturdays. On the weekends I do have off, if I'm not studying, I love to draw, paint, bake and get out and about and explore Brisbane :-) I don't have any pets but would love to get a dog if cicumstances allowed! Although I love pets, I am allergic to cats and would not be able to live with one. I am in a relationship and I would like for my boyfriend to stay some nights. I would also be spending some nights at his. I am very flexible with move in dates as I am currently living with family. It is essential that my bedroom has air conditioning as I have a health condition that is aggravated by heat. I am very respectful of other people's possessions and space and like to keep my space clean and tidy. Furnished or unfurnished doesn't bother me as I have furniture but can leave it with family.
Looking for a new place that better suits me. I'm a full time professional. Am social, easy going, accustomed to share housing. I'm clean and quiet (as a housemate), super easy to live with. I like to head out on weekends, get to the coast as often, and am an active person, mostly during the week. Would like flatmates that I can call friends as well :) Move date is flexible.
I am an honest and reliable person looking for somewhere relatively close to Soutbank where i am currently working. I respect others space but will always be up for a chat and always clean up after myself.
Hi my name is Lisa! I recently just graduated from uni and i'm working Full-time as a Community Manager at a Marketing company in Brisbane CBD. I am looking for a flatmate who is like minded like myself. I am very easy going, friendly and I enjoy a bit of a chat now and then. I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis, cooking and having a social glass of wine with friends. I am great to live with because I am an organised, clean and a respectable person who gets along with most people. I am however allergic to cats so I can't move in with any. Feel free to send me a message :-)
I am currently working Full time Wednesday through to Sunday. I tend to go out at night during the week, no intentions of having many people over just my girlfriend a few times a week. I currently have a pet rat but I am looking to re home her, so could just be temporary. Tend to keep to myself.
I am a barista and photographer/graphic designer. I usually leave home about 5-6am and come home about 12-1pm. When I am home I spend some time with my computer (I work at home sometimes) and reading/watching. I love cycling and I have two bikes. One of them will sleep with me in my room if there's a space. Other one can be in the garden or garage. I try not to stay home and ride whenever I can. Also I have a car which I never drive. I need to park though. Cheers
2 friends. One doing her Masters in Psych and working part time. One recently graduated from law and doing her PLT and working full time. Very social, fun and friendly :) Both love exercise, socialising and wine :) One beautiful dog.
24 year old female, professional, works in HR monday to friday, very clean. Looking for a female roommate/roommates that have a similar lifestyle, work but like to have some friends over on weekends or a cheeky wine after work!
Hey, Im looking to move in with some housemates who are keen to hang out but understand space, I try to keep clean and might be out a lot as I'm a full time undergrad zoology student at uq who has a bar job. I'm into hiking, grabing coffee and binge watching TV
I'm a fun, considerate, social, easy going and tidy girl from Norway who is taking a semester abroad at UQ form my school in the U.S. During my stay in Brisbane I want to explore as much as possible, get to know fun people, drink and eat good food while still do good in school and relax. Also, I love to cook so you'll get a free chef by teaming up with me:) I'll arrive in Brisbane on February 15th and will dedicate all of my time before school starts to find fun roommates and a decent place to live (and have a few drinks). A few of the things I'm really into is music, make-up, going to the beach, clubbing, work out and binge watch tv shows. I'm open to teaming up with both boys and girls, but would prefer my own room and max 4 roommates. I absolutely love to travel and I'm not afraid to explore new places and do things I've never done before. Even though I'm social and enjoy going out I don't want to live in a partyhouse. Please don't be shy and if you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message!
Fairly new to Brisbane, I am currently studying at University and working part time. Pretty relaxed person, occasionally have a drink or two. Very hygienic and i keep everything tidy. Hopefully I won't just be a housemate, but a friend too :)
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained & clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook, philosophize over a drink and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. I’m a feminist dude and proud of it, though it’s not about telling people they’re wrong in their views so much as demonstrating with kindness and empathy that other views exist. I’m big on being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective. That said, Socratic method only goes so far in a group house, if you don’t know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place.
I'm from China, a PhD student at QUT, studying digital media. I love cooking and hiking and playing table tennis and badminton. I have a car so it would be perfect if there is an undercover carpark. I'm quite easy-going and quiet and respectful. Meanwhile, I love to cook and share my food. Hope we can be good friends, not just the one with whom you share a house
Hey guys, I just came to Australia and will be starting my PhD at the QUT in March. I'm searching for a private room in a shared flat. I've lived in shared flats for the last seven years, never had any problems with my flatmates and prefer it to living alone. I'm originally from Germany. I suppose that I'll be working a lot and therefore most days I will only be at the flat at the evening. However, I would prefer a shared flat that is not only living together to pay less rent, but spends some time with each other, for example cooking together or just chatting maybe sharing a red wine 😉 from time to time. I am a vegetarian though so cooking together can be tricky sometimes. I just arrived in Brisbane and therefore didn‘t start any pastime activities again, but I would like to sing in a choir again. I also enjoy video games, TV series, dancing, music, theatre and art sometimes (although I'm absolutely clueless). So in conclusion I would like a flat were everyone has their personal space, but people still pass some time together. If you've read this far, I'm hoping to hear from you soon. 😊
Professional from Perth, new job in Brisbane in film & television. Looking for a lovely place with great company! Love to be social, and love a chat and a wine, but also have to read lots of material on my down-time so I'm also able to be quiet :) Cheers!
I am a student from the UK, fun and outgoing! Love making new friends and socialising. I study Law in the UK, second year student, aged 19. I have lived with both male and female students in shared houses/flats at uni before! I consider myself very clean and tidy. Looking forward to living with easy going housemates who will make my Brisbane study a trip to remember! In my spare time i would love to go travelling around Australia, go to beaches, snorkelling, ski diving and everything Australians do for fun!
Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm looking for flatmates to live with around the inner western suburbs! I am currently working full time as a Speech Pathologist, but also spend 2-3 nights a week studying my Masters degree at UQ. I am a very social person and will always make time for hanging out with my friends if the opportunity presents itself. Although I'm very busy, I'll happily squeeze in a drink or two on the weekends, and enjoy making/listening to music, playing netball, and wishing I was on my next trip! (I love to travel.. especially where there's snow and mountains). I'd like to think I'd make a great housemate - I'm clean, considerate, and always respectful of my surroundings. I take ownership of my responsibilities as a human, and would always pay bills on time/ensure my duties are always fulfilled! I also consider myself to be quite a relaxed person, and don't get too caught up on the little things (I try to see the big picture!), so although I'm clean and tidy, I don't get anal about things easily. I'm looking to share a house/apartment with like minded individual/s, open to making new a new friend :)
I'm 22 years old originally from Perth. Moved to the Gold Coast about 6 months ago and now looking for a place in Brisbane closer to my new full-time job. I am friendly, easy going and tidy.
Hi future flat mate! I'm Christian from Germany and in Brisbane for my semester abroad at QUT Botanic Garden - I'm single, tidy, friendly, non-smoker and enjoying life. Just text me! Cheers, Christian :)
Hi I'm wubi! I'm pretty social, relaxed and rather chill. I like a clean environment and friendly faces. I'm honest, responsible and eager to open the next chapter in my life! I'm an open-minded person who doesn't judge, but mostly, I wanna live with awesome people! :)
I'm a 22 year old female. I work full time as a recruiter for a sales company. I'm a clean and tidy person to live with and not home too often due to working long hours and spending time with my boyfriend. I love socialising, cooking and going to the gym. Looking to move early March.
24 y/o female professional moving from Adelaide to Brisbane. Looking for housemates that like to have the occasional drink and chat but respect each others privacy also - also cleanliness is a must! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi All, I'm currently working full time in marine biology and lead a relatively active lifestyle but also enjoy having a dinner or cheeky movie night with my flatmates. I love nature, adventure and seeing new places and cultures. I can usually be found hiking, scuba diving , rock climbing or going to the farmers markets on weekends. I like living in a cheerful and relatively clean household with responsible yet fun young adults , appreciate good music and love baking (especially vegan treats) and sharing the treats. Always open to new ideas and am very friendly. Also enjoy having some quiet time and chilling out with friends when I'm not working.
International student from Germany, studying Business at Griffth University Nathan Campus but would prefer to live somewhere closer to the City. Would love to share a house or flat with other students (preferred) but also with any other nice and funny guys. At home, I'm living alone, so I'm used to look after myself and I do know how to keep my place tidy. I may be a little introverted at frist glance but if I get to know you, we will have much fun! I would enjoy to hangout with you but also respect your privacy, as I, for sure, also will withdraw myself from time to time. Last but not least, I like watching movies, having a drink, going out and I really do love almost any kind of sports. I like doing any ball game but I also like to follow my favorite teams in TV. And as I'm in Australia just for one semester, I want to take every opportunity to travel around this country and fore sure, it would be quite fun if you want to accompany me
I'm an easy going office professional working weekdays, often up the coast on weekends to visit family /surf lifesaving as I coach nippers, play a lot of sport, like to be social :)
Hey, I'm a girl from Norway that's studying in Brisbane. I wanted to study in Australia, because I play rugby, and there are better options here. I'm a very tidy person. I like being social, but also enjoy relaxing on my own. LT

I am a international student who is currently studying Engineering in the QUT. I spend a lot time in the uni. Also, I am trying to find a part time job to pay my daily cost. As an international student, I really need people show me the rules and to be company. Improving my English as well.
Somos estudiantes, muy ordenados y limpios. Nos gusta cuidar las cosas. Muy agradables, no hacemos desorden. Queremos aprender y practicar el Ingles. Somos puntuales. Queremos buscar un sitio donde cumpla todas esas caracteristicas.
Im a full-time working professional working in the Recruitment Industry. I live an active lifestyle. Im easy peasy and am easy to get along with and don't mind the occasional beer on the weekend although I like my alone time, whilst respecting others. I can't wait to meet some new friends :)
I've got a good job and am always on time with rent / bills etc. I may be a bit biased but I think I'm pretty damned hilarious. I don't really watch much tv so you'll never have to fight me for the tv. (I do watch a lot of shows on my computer though and can sing the tune of SVU like a champion) I will occasionally only drink half the glass of wine and leave the rest for you so again I'm calling that a win for you. Bonus points to anyone who enjoys Laphroig quarter cask.
I am a Swedish student at QUT Business School were I will be studying for two years. I am new in Brisbane so just hanging around in town and get knowing it would be amazing. For relaxing I usually take long walks with a Podcast in my ears or go for a run.
Hi there! I'm a 2nd year QUT student looking for a quiet place to study. I'm quiet, tidy, reliable and friendly. I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term while I finish my bachelor degree in game design.
I’ve just returned from 5 months travelling around Central and South America (yes, finding myself now I’ve hit my mid-twenties) and I am moving back to Brisbane to start work full time as a grad lawyer. Prior to my travels I completed a double degree in Arts and Law. Will I be a good housemate? Yeah. Well of course I would say that, but I think it’s true. I’ve lived in plenty of sharehouses and value highly the importance of cleaning up after oneself. I make a mean curry, lasagne, quinoa salad and Mexican fiesta, which, if you time your presence right you might be lucky enough to delight in ☺. Things I enjoy outside of work… being outdoors and active, strolling about art museums pondering the big and little questions in life, smelling fresh air when I can get myself surrounded in nature (eg, bushwalking, hiking, swimming at the beach), gathering fresh fruit and veggies from weekend markets and cooking up a creative storm, playing soccer with my mates, meeting new/interesting/quirky people (I call them value-adders).
Hey! I'm Zara. I've recently decided that living alone is a little boring and lonely and I am looking for social and out going people to live with. I've been a social worker for three years (permanent employment :)) and i work with teenagers in a high school, so i reckon i can share some funny stories. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy good company, although i love my own space too. I am an experienced renter and like to think i can live with almost anyone :)/ Rent will always be two weeks ahead, and i'll always make sure the bins are out :)
We are three spanish girls that study biomedical engineering at QUT and plan to stay in Brisbane for the next 6 months. We are friendly and clean and are looking for people that besides flatmates can become friends with who we can make different types of plans such as watching a movie during a relaxed night, having some beers together at home or going out to party. Moreover, Maria likes mountain and rock climbing (in case someone shares her interest). We like traveling and knowing people from different cultures, that is why we would like to share accomodation with international or australian students that are in our same situation but not spanish speakers (preferred)
Hey guys, I am an german exchange student and just arrived to Brisbane in order to start my exchange semester at QUT. Now I should find an accomodation asap since hostel gets expensive and doesn´t relly feel like home. I am 25 years old and already got a lot of flatmate-experiences: I lived in different shared flats (with both males and females) during my whole studies back in Germany and also spent an exchange semester in Finland living together with a guy from Germany and one from the Iran. I´m very openminded and like different cultures which is why I love to travel (e.g. south-east-asia). Besides that, I like partying (and I´m almost always in), cooking, sports or just hanging out and take it easy. See you soon, flatmates in spe ;)!
Currently studying business and psychology at QUT. I'm super fun loving and down to earth but in saying that i also respect down time. I'm really into live music, socialising and drinking wine.. Heavy on the wine. I'm really looking to move in with not just housemates but a family vibe, because Its all about the vibe of the thing you know.
Hi to my future flatmates:) my name is Nadine, I am from Berlin and I am studying Business Administration. For the next four month I am going to study in brisbane. I decided to do the exchange programme in order to improve my english skills and to get to know something about the australien way of life. I am open minded, I love to socialize but sometimes I also need some time for myself. My hobbies are fitness, bouldering, meeting friends, I love dancing as well as eating and cooking togehter :D
I'm 20 years old and a Journalism/Arts student at UQ who also works part-time. I'm super social and am looking for housemates that I can be friends with, but also enjoy time chilling out on my own and respect the privacy of others. I'm into movies, books, TV shows, travel and seeing live music.
Hi everyone, I'm a soon to be 21 year old student about to enter my final year. I'm seeking a new share house with a group of relaxed people around my age. I'm quiet and relatively keep to myself but don't mind a chat and a few cheeky beverages if that's your thing. Most of all I know how to operate cleaning materials which means I clean up after myself and the best part is I always pay rent on time. What's not to love? Feel free to contact me!!! Really desperate to find a place before the commencement on the university semester! Thanks
I am a full time law student and also work 2 jobs so I will be in and out of the house. I am clean and tidy and easy to get along with. I enjoy socialising but also love my own space. I love to cook and go to the gym several times a week. I'm currently looking at moving on the 25th of Feb and would like to find a place where I will have my own bathroom.
We are a couple from Poland, who are looking for a flat with nice and friendly people like us :) We are easy going and we like neatness. We respect your privacy and expect the same. It will be great to live with people with who we can spend nice time and talk, but not disturb each other.
Hey guys, I've just arrived in the beautiful Brisbane to pursue a double Master's degree in business at QUT (Gardens Point). I'm from Latvia (it's a small country in the Norther Europe), but I've spent the last 5 years studying in The Netherlands (no, I was not smoking weed every day :D). I'm a very positive dude, I love to meet new people and I'm always in for a good chat over a beer. I'm into fitness, healthy living and traveling. I know this probably is what everybody writes here, but as a flatmate, I'm very tidy, well-organized and love to cook for a nice dinner with friends.
Hello there, my name is Andy and I am looking for a place to stay near Griffith University's South Bank campus. I am a friendly Canadian who is tidy, organized, and loves to explore different places! I generally like to keep to myself but is not afraid to make new friends. I enjoy being active and playing sports. I'm super easy-going, responsible, and respectful to the space and belongings of others! I am looking for a room, a bed, maybe a desk if I'm lucky, and WIFI... THAT'S IT! If you think you can help me, send me a message! Thanks!
