I am a 33 year old female studying Business and Design at Griffith University (South Bank and Nathan Campuses). I am looking for somewhere to stay just 2 or 3 nights during the week so I can get study done as the rest of the week I will be at my partners place (he has 3 kids, which is part of the reason why I need somewhere else to go for some quiet time!). I am quiet and considerate, respectful and thoughtful of others. I am reliable and trustworthy and will always pay rent and bills when they are due. I am friendly and kind, and very gentle and caring. I don't like conflict or drama, so I live peacefully with others. I'm am an extremely honest person, so if you want to know anything, just ask!
I am an international student doing my Masters at UQ. I am fun, yet organised. I am concientious, clean up after myself and keep tidy. I will be working long hours so will not be home too much during the day. I love cooking and am happy to do a 'I cook, you clean' arrangement. I get along well with most people. I am a morning person, and will be up by 6am most mornings to go running. I do usually have music going but always at a respectable level. I would prefer to live with just 1 other person, however I am willing to look at a 3 bedroom place. I need to have access to the train or 66 Bus route as I will be working at hospitals next year. I am looking for January ONLY.
Hi, I'm Clare, 33 and I work full time with the government. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a clean and spacious house. I have no problems paying bond and going on a lease, and have never paid a bill late. I'm very used to sharehouse living, previously studied and worked shifts so I'm respectful of other people's timetables and downtime. I also like to have a tidy house so it would be a welcome change to live with people who do their share of the housework. I usually do my own thing and am looking for flatmates who are more or less similar, but also up for a chat and a glass of wine at times. When i'm not at work I'm at the gym, reading, or catching up with friends. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i have to move on, but I can leave anytime up until 12th December. Having friends over is great, but I'm definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs, and I would like to stay pretty close to the city. Pet, LGBTI, student and shift worker friendly :)
Hey there, I'm a trustworthy, kind and easy-going person who is tidy and respectful. I've been flatting with friends majority of my time living here in Bribane so I know how to live with other people. Unfortunately I need to find a nice home closer to the city. I often keep to myself and respect others space but won't turn down a friendly chat or fun hang-out. I don't smoke. Rarely drink but it doesn't bother me if you do. I'm a bartender working most nights of the week. In my spare time I like to keep busy. I go to the gym, go on adventures, eat great food and soon to be studying In Aviation. I hope I can be a good addition to your sharehouse! :) (I'm currently on holidays until the 13th of November but will be available once I get back, asap)
We are two laid back females who both work full time, as well as Jessie studying part time. We like to have our own space but we are always up for a beer or a chat, and enjoy being social on weekends. We have most of the furniture needed to furnish a house, and as such are looking to either start a share house with like-minded people, or move into a house that could accommodate our belongings. We currently live in New Farm, although are wanting to move from our current apartment to a house (we both want to get dogs). We don't want to live too far out of the city, and New Farm is our ideal location. We're looking at spending a maximum of $250 each, and are looking at houses that are 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a maximum of $900p/wk. There are a few properties currently available in the area that we're looking at, so if you feel like you'd like to team up to start a rad share house then send us a message!
Hi My name is Peter and I'm international student and I'm coming from Slovenia. I'm still on my way to improve my English language. Looking for place that I can call them home! Like to share flat with nice and friendly people.
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Hey ! I'm looking for a room from November :) I am a 24 Brazilian girl , graduated in Electronic Engineering. I also lived in France for a year. I'm going to Brisbane to study to improve my english during 4 months. I am friendly, easy going, clean and respectful. I love traveling, meeting new people, new cultures, watching movies, listening to music, cooking, riding a bike and being with friends. I am looking for a private or share room with nice and funny housemates. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have a room available or if you need more informations :) Marília.
Hello, I'm Rose, and I'm really looking forward to moving to Brisbane from the Tweed area. Working full time at the moment, but I'll be starting study at TAFE South Bank and a part time job (or two) when I move up. The suburbs I've listed are not fixed, but that general area would be fab. I don't know how to make this sound less cliche, but I'm a friendly, healthy, easy-going young adult who probably sits right on the line between introvert and extrovert. Keen to go out, keen to stay in. I'll be looking forward to meeting new friends (hopefully you!) and finding new awesome local places for a drink or two. I also want to join some local communities/Meet Up groups (D&D, a choir, volunteering, environmental, book club, whatever man). What I'm looking for in a place to stay is share accommodation with my own furnished room. I have a car, so I'd LOVE off-street parking, but could make do with on-street if available. I am a clean person, and tend to look after my own mess, but if you would rather have a chore roster I'm cool with that. I expect reasonable cleanliness from my flatmates too. An important thing for me would be ample space in the fridge/freezer/kitchen cupboards as I tend to do my cooking for the rest of the week on the weekend in one big go. I want to feel safe in my place. If there will be strangers around a lot I'll want a lock on my door. I'm cool with parties every now and then, but not every week. Flatmates that like to chat and hang out are a big plus :)
Hi guys, I’ve recently returned to Brisbane after being over seas for a couple years and am hopeing to find a place as central as possible. I’m a Barista/trainee Barber, I work 5-6 days full time and like to keep myself busy throughout my days so won’t spend all hours of the day at home. I’m super tidy, love to cook or get 🍕, I’m very social so won’t ever say no to a mid week pint, red or squad dinner (as long as the budget allows) but am not a heavy drinker/partier. I’m semi minimalist so I haven’t got a lot of stuff to take up any shared space. I do have some furniture if a house needs anything extra eg, fridge, desk, tv units etc but they’re in a safe place if not required. Just want a chill home to start and end each day and have some good chats/banter along the way.
I am moving to Brisbane in Jan 2018 to study at UQ for my Masters in Information Systems. On my spare time, I enjoy cooking (vegetarian), working out, occasional drinks and socializing. I am looking for 1-2 girls to share a flat with where we can create a good environment and keep the place tidy and clean. Interested in living in a central part of the city, preferably close to public transport to St.Lucia as well as shopping, cafes, restaurants ect., but I'm not too fussy!
I have a bubbly and easy going personality. I work well with other people and am good for deadlines and helping out for things. I currently live in a little town called Ayr in North Queensland and I want to be in Brisbane to get more opportunities and experience. I’m going to be study at Gardens Point QUT campus in a bachelor of Engineering so I won’t be much a bother. I’m pretty felexible with things and am really mature for my age. I went somewhere to live indefinitely really with me leaving during Christmas etc to see my family.
I am a 21 y/o full time retail manager in the CBD looking for a comfortable place to call my own. I’m an artist and game designer who loves chocolate and animals. I keep to myself, I’m quiet and clean. You won’t even know I’m there unless you want a drink or a chat, in which case I’m more than happy to hang out. No shared rooms though please, I need my own space. Prefer to live with at least one other female. Must be pet friendly, I have a beautiful 2 year old greyhound rescue named Travis who sleeps 90% of the day and loves nothing more than to cuddle and be a couch potato. Fenced backyard or proximity to off leash dog park a huge bonus but not a requirement. My move date is flexible so shoot me a message anyways :) thanks in advance
Hey, I’m a English female on a working holiday visa which expires at the end of January next year so looking for a place until then. I’m 26 so still like to party but not every weekend, I am a clean freak which can be seen as a good or a bad thing I guess! Ideal night will be watching a box set with a G&T in hand! I am ideally looking for a modern apartment in or close to the city as I will be working by Roma Station. Would prefer an apartment block with a pool and a gym but not a deal breaker. Apartment needs to be fully furnished. I am also an outside smoker so obviously other house mate needs to be comfortable with me smoking outside.
I arrived in Australia recently on a working holiday visa, I have taken a sebatical from engineering. I'm easy to get along with, considerate of others and am clean and tidy. Have many interests in sports, outdoor activities.
22 year old female currently living in Burpengary, I'm looking for somewhere to live closer to my work which is located in Enoggera, I'm currently working full time as a support worker, and I'm looking to study next year so somewhere close to a university would be ideal! I enjoy going to the gym and eating healthy, I have a one year old ragdoll cat named Leo, he's really easy going and house trained! I'm really hoping to be able to bring him with me but if it's too hard I can leave him with my mum, i'm very tidy and will always clean up after myself, I'm also very social but I do enjoy my own time as well, looking for like minded people preferably females to live with and also become friends! I just moved here so I would love meet new people! will enjoy a wine(or two) and letting my hair down on the weekends! Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
I am very clean, tidy and quiet. I am reliable with rent, bills etc. Looking for a shared arrangement with my own bathroom. I live an active, healthy lifestyle although enjoy socialising and having a drink on the weekend. I enjoy time to myself but am always up for a chat! I am from the Sunshine Coast so will travel back on occasional weekends. I am a full time Occupational Therapist and am looking to move mid November. Seeking like minded, easy going people to share with.
Hey! I'm an international Master student looking for a new place in Bris. I'm peruvian (south american), friendly and outgoing, but also appreciate some privacy. I split my time between uni and a part-time job. I like to cook healthy food, going out for drinks, taking walks around, and obviously dancing latin music! PD: I'm allergic to cats :(
