My boyfriend (26) and I (22) are moving over to Sydney from Ireland for a year and are really excited to start this next chapter. We’re hoping to find a lovely place to call home for around 12 months, ideally near Coogee/ Randwick, although we’re definitely open to other areas around Sydney.

I have just graduated college this year and have been working full time as an office administrator since May and will be looking for full-time work when we arrive, while my partner is a qualified electrician and will also be working full-time. We’ve made sure to come over financially prepared and have a good amount of savings behind us to cover our expenses while we get settled and find work. We’re more than happy to provide proof of savings if required.

We’ve been renting and living together for the past two years, so we’re very used to sharing the responsibility of looking after a home. We’re both clean, tidy and respectful and would treat anywhere we rent as if it were our own. We’re non-smokers and won’t have any pets with us.

We’re friendly, sociable and very easy-going. We love travelling and exploring new places, going for walks, listening to music and going to concerts. A big reason for moving to Australia is to experience as much as we can while we’re there, so we’re really looking forward to exploring Sydney, meeting new people and making the most of our year.

Although we enjoy going out and being social, we also really appreciate having a nice, clean and peaceful home to come back to. We’re considerate of the people around us and would love to find somewhere we can properly settle into and make our home while we’re in Sydney.
