About Us – Maria & Beth

Hi, my name is Maria. I’m a 25-year-old New Zealander and qualified lawyer, relocating to Sydney in November 2026 for work. I have full working rights in Australia and currently work in public policy in the New Zealand public sector.

I’ll be renting with my close friend Beth, and we are looking for a property that we can genuinely make our home for the longer term. We have been close friends for 12 years, having met in college in Wellington, and are excited about the opportunity to live together in Sydney.

We are both currently based in Wellington and will be relocating to Sydney in November. I work in policy and the legal/public sector, while Beth works in HR. We are looking forward to starting this next chapter together and finding a home that we can settle into for the longer term.

As our move dates are slightly flexible, Beth and I would also be very happy to consider a short-term sublease or share-room arrangement when we first arrive in Sydney, before moving into a longer-term home.

We are professional, responsible and considerate tenants who take great pride in keeping our home clean, tidy and well cared for. We are non-smokers, respectful of our neighbours and enjoy a quiet, comfortable home environment. As long-standing friends, we are also looking for a home that we can take pride in and enjoy together.

We understand the responsibility that comes with renting and would treat the property as our own. We are looking for a stable, longer-term home rather than a short-term arrangement and would be committed to maintaining the property to a high standard.
