Fran

Hey!

I’m Fran, 28, from Spain. I’ll be moving to Hobart for a research stay as part of my PhD, and I’ll probably be around until late February or sometime in March.

I work in oceanography and sea-ice research. Outside work I’m pretty outdoorsy — hiking, climbing, boats, camping and generally being outside whenever I can. I’m social and always happy to hang out, have dinner or a beer together, but I also like doing my own thing and having some quiet time.

I’m easy going, clean and tidy, and I’m looking for a relaxed and friendly place that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

It’ll be my first time in Australia and I’m really excited to explore Tasmania and meet some new people!

Also, I can bring some Spanish food when I arrive :)
