Aarahi

Hi! I’m Aarahi, a 19 y/o student currently living in Montmorency, but originally from the Koroit-Port Fairy area. I’m hoping to move somewhere a bit closer to my work in Tullamarine this year. I enjoy longer commutes but want to remain somewhat close to my campus for next year, which is why I’m not looking at things in between the two.

I’m currently studying Archaeology at La Trobe University and I’m finishing my second year right now. Outside of that, I like taking day trips, writing and drawing in my free time. Although I don’t have a pet, I’m more than happy to be around them, reptiles and invertebrates included! I have a soft spot for cats, large dogs and lizards. I can’t handle birds because of minor allergies, though.

I mostly choose to use my own internet rather than wifi, and I’m not big on using a lot of power or water given I grew up on a farm with limits to these things 😅.

I’m much happier with practicality instead of luxury. What’s important to me is that I can be friendly with other residents, but retain my space when necessary. A lock on doors would be nice, though I only really use it when sleeping. On that note, I prefer single beds over other options and I’m not interested in shared bedrooms.

I have a car the same age as me, and although I love my Hyundai, I don’t really feel the need to park it under cover. A street or nature strip is fine.
