Hi, I’m Amanda!
I’m 30, born and raised in Sydney, and work full-time in superannuation on a hybrid basis (two days in the office and three from home).
Outside of work, there’s usually some music playing and you’ll find me reading, going for long walks, watching TV and films, seeing live shows, eating out or catching up with friends.
I’ve previously lived in sharehouses around the inner east and west and have spent the last couple of years living alone, so I’m looking for somewhere longer term that genuinely feels like home rather than just somewhere to crash.
As a housemate, I’m clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces. I tidy as I go and like a home that feels comfortable, lived-in and looked after. Full disclosure: I’m an introvert and can be a little quiet at first, but I warm up once I’m comfortable. I’m always happy to have a chat, share a meal or hang out, while also valuing downtime and respecting everyone’s need for their own space.
I’m generally home most weeknights and out and about more on weekends. I’m also pet-friendly and have cat-sat before, so furry housemates are more than welcome.
What I’m looking for:
- A private, unfurnished bedroom with its own bathroom
- That can comfortably fit a double bed and desk
- In a modern, secure apartment/sharehouse
- Good public transport for a reasonable commute to the CBD
- Somewhere walkable, as I don’t have a car (obviously love a long walk but not every time I need groceries!)
- Parks or walking trails nearby would be a big bonus!
I’m looking to move late-November to mid-December and ideally stay 6–12 months or longer, so I can settle in, put down some roots and make a home.
If you think we might be a good fit or have any questions, feel free to send me a message :)
