Hi there,

I'm 35, currently working as a meter reader but also do freelance graphic design (have a Bachelor's in Design from UNSW). I'm an artist (acrylic & mixed medium) and graphic designer, big music fan and keen surfer. Have got a car.

At the moment I'm usually working about 9/10am-3/5pm, with the occasional all-nighter if I have a freelance project going on. In my downtime I like to surf, paint, watch telly on my laptop in my room (usually the cricket when it's on), read and exercise. Don't really drink much these days but don't mind if others do, though I do smoke (but not much).

My girlfriend would probably be over at least once a week-ish, though we would spend most of our time painting in my room or watching telly.

I've done the share house thing a lot and I'm at the point where I'm looking for something peaceful and quiet, not a party house or a house with lots of younger people in their early 20's.

After 7-8 years living in share houses in the inner west, I had to move back in with my parents due to a breakup to save money for a new place. Preferably looking for a short-term sub-let type situation, but open to long-term tenancy if housemates are a good fit or the place is what I'm looking for long-term anyway.
