Our heritage listed apartment building is located on the corner of Canterbury Road and the iconic Maling Road. A wonderful spot with ample cafes for brunch (yasss) and coffee, Canterbury Station (Belgrave/Lilydale Line) is only a short hop across the road. You can train it into the city in just under 20 minutes, and under 10 to get to Swinburne. The room itself (4.2M x 2.2M) is full of light, with high ceilings and can easily fit a queen size bed. Although unfurnished, the room does come with a European heater and a freestanding wardrobe. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. As I do not drive, a private parking space is also available. LGBTQI friendly.

Our place is a pretty spacious 2-bedroom flat just off Burke Road on the Hawthorn East side. The available room is the larger of the two rooms and has lots of storage space. There is a big lounge-room and dining room, a nice balcony with good afternoon sun, a cute kitchen, a bathroom with laundry area, a separate toilet and a car space below the unit block (which i've been using, but if you have a car i'm sure we can arrange something). Its a 5 minute walk to Burke road which has got some nice restaurants, coles/woolies/aldi, a Japanese grocery store along with other cool things. The train station is also a 7 minute walk away. From there, it takes about 15 mins to get to Flinders station, so its very accessible to/from the city.

Hello! We have a decent-sized bedroom with ensuite available immediately for rent in a spacious two-bedroom house with a beautiful front yard. The room comes with an ensuite (your own shower and toilet!), spacious built-in wardrobes, and large windows with plenty of natural light. The room is furnished with a single bed and mattress however we can move this if you have your own furniture. The rest of the house is fully furnished (except a TV). Other features of the house: garage parking (and plenty on-street), kitchen, european laundry, dining room and lounge room with a lovely view of our front garden, central heating and air conditioning. Super close to public transport - tram 75 less than a minute away, and 7 minutes walk to Burwood train station. It's only a 25-minute ride into the city on the Alamein line. Highfield Road is a nice and quiet leafy street, close to Woolies, cafes, restaurants, and parks. Bills are not included in rent and will be split 3-ways as they come. The room is for one person only (total 3 people in the house including you) - sorry no couples or friends sharing. Ideally we'd like someone who is working full-time, can stay long term (at least a year) and is reliable with paying rent and bills on time. We do love animals but no pets unfortunately.
