Safe and homely, a beautiful house in a great area. 1 room available now, in a large household where I teach some classical music in the afternoons. It's in Camberwell right next to Hawthorn. I live in the bottom part of the house and my daughter ( a busy dance teacher ) in one of the four upstairs rooms. Her room and all the other 3 guest rooms have their own en/suites. There are actually 5 bathrooms in the house including 5 toilets, plus 2 other toilets. It is a short walk to Camberwell station in a leafy and quiet street. There are no bills to pay. I cook most nights and we eat about 7 or a bit later. Most of our guest have been happy to dine with us, saving money of course. Others may prefer to dine out. Good conversation is very important to me and my daughter...balanced with privacy of course (best of both worlds). Currently, the other 2 guests are a Taiwanese Uni student and an older business lady both with excellent English and fine character. Guests who have initially been worried about the rental price have found that it has worked economically for them with the lifestyle, privacy and included benefits (e.g. laundry with washer 2 dryers and detergent all included). There is plenty of excellent internet included. Train time to city is only 13 minutes or 22 depending which type. It's leafy and quiet but close to everything. We love it.

I am unfortunately moving out of my lovely flat in Hawthorn East to move in with my partner. I would want someone to take over the lease--the lease is up December 9th at the end of this year. Move in date towards the end of April--exact date is up to the person moving in. I'm flexible with moving dates. Rent is paid monthly at $717 (less than $180 pw). I also have a bedside table and a lot of room in it to get ready comfortably. The wall facing out has a big window that allows naturally light to come in the room. The apartment is a 7 minute walk to Auburn station down the street (goes directly to the city), and a 10 minute walk up to Camberwell Station/Junction (great shops, coles/woolies, restaurants). At Camberwell Junction there's also trams #70 #72 and #75. Very easy to get to anywhere from this location. The apartment is just enough outside of the city that it's not loud, but it's such a short train ride into the city the convenience is perfect. I don't have a car and living here has made my life easy to get around. If you do have a car parking is out on the street and there's usually spots all along the street that's easy to find. Both of my roommates have cars and they find car parks no problem. The area is full of families, young professionals, and students. I've always felt safe walking around the area and everyone is so friendly. The only reason I am moving out is for the convenience of living with my partner. I'd be living here until the end of the year if he didn't ask me to move in.

The house itself is huge, with high ceilings, a big backyard and some creature comforts such as dishwasher and unlimited Wi-Fi Internet. The room available is a big size with high ceilings and sliding door to the side garden. We are looking for a professional who is easy-going, friendly, considerate and tidy. We are both female - 32 years old - and enjoy going out for a few drinks, but are quite content staying in and watching a movie. We both enjoy being active but also love our food.
