I'm leaving for a six month exchange to Europe, otherwise I'd be staying here as long as I can! The room is huge, with a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite with shower. Its off the street so very safe and quiet, and surrounded by trees so no one can look into the house/room and its all completely private. There's a huge pool, with all maintenance included, all garden maintenance bills are included too! There's unlimited internet for $24.30 a month (each) with Optus, so super fast, and comes with Fetch TV - which means there are lots of extra TV channels to choose from. Most rooms of the house have a ceiling fan (very very important for Brisbane!), with winter and summer settings, and there's a fireplace and aircon too :) The rest of the house is fully furnished, with two TV rooms, a washer and drier, two fridges and an extra freezer in a really good sized kitchen. It's less than 10 minutes to Indooroopilly shopping centre, which is super convenient for shopping (even if you don't have a car, like me) and if you work at the centre, and the bus stop at indro goes pretty much everywhere. It only takes 20 minute to get to uni via the bus, and maybe 10 if you drive. The train station is also a short 15-ish minute walk. As I'm going overseas I'd definitely considering selling my furniture (bed, desk, chair, some shelves) if someone was also interested in that! I don't have exact dates for when I'm leaving yet so I'm relatively flexible with that too. My last exam is on the 15th June so any time after that really! :) There's heaps of free parking on street, but there's also a driveway if you'd rather park down it.
