The room fits a queen and a desk and a tall boy and is in a quiet duplex home that is close to Harbourtown Helensvale Griffith Uni and northern waterways of the Gold Coast. It is just my daughter (19 years old) and I at the moment. We are clean and tidy and cook regularly, so the place is homely and is fully stoked with appliances. Except there is no dishwasher. The undercover back area is great for relaxing in too. We have a small park across the road. We are looking for someone who works or studies and who is clean and tidy and cleans the kitchen and bathroom after every use, no dirty dishes or personal items left on bathroom sink. TV is on only after 9am and only for Netflix or movies. No free to air TV. You can set up what you want in your own room so long as it isn't loud.

Hey future flatmates :), For some reason someone has told people and created an illusion that Coombabah is to far which is a load of rubbish. This is to promote the towers of Southport. We are close to transport and actually 20 minutes away from GCUH, Griffith Uni, Tram by bus, every half hour and 30 to 35 minutes to Southport by bus. The 719 bus does this route so check it out. At least check it out and dont beleive the rubbish you are told. This is a 4 bedroom fully furnished house, with a swimming pool. The house is set up so that the main bedroom has its own lounge room, as does the two bedrooms (the one for rent, the other is a guest bedroom) on the other end of the house - it is very much like separate living! The room for rent has it's own bathroom, the toilet is separate. The room has a queen sized bed, bedside table, built in double mirrored sliding door wardrobe, ceiling fan, two windows, and views of the pool. Everything is here, just bring your own bedding, towels and clothing. There is space for a small fridge if you wanted to have your own too. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, there is netflix, unlimited wifi and foxtel. The second lounge room has a tv, dvd player and apple tv. You must LOVE dogs in this house - we have 2 king charles cavaliers (Moggy and Simba) and the back gate leads into the local dog park. We are both self-employed, he goes away a lot for work, and I mostly work from home. This is a clean, quiet house; we don't mind what you do or don't eat, who you pray to, who you're attracted to or what you like to do with your spare time etc - as long as you're a nice human who treats others with kindness and respect, we'll get along just fine! We don't mind the occasional social event or people coming to visit but this is by no means a party house. There is a pool in the backyard, and a covered patio with outdoor furniture which you are free to use. You will be responsible for keeping your room clean, sheets washed, and for buying your own food. We also expect that you'll clean up after yourself in the kitchen, clean your bathroom regularly (at least once every 2 weeks), vacuum and mop floors, dust in the lounge room etc. Electricity, water, wifi, Netflix and Foxtel are all included your rent. The listing is only for one bedroom, but I am open to renting it to 2 people for a higher weekly rate - please get in touch if this sounds like something you want to do.
