The house has three decently sized bedrooms, a kitchen, one bathroom, a lounge room and dining room, sun room and backyard. Hello, We have a furnished room available in a beautiful and fully-furnished house on the river, from the 15th of April. We're located in Highgate Hill, a suburb right opposite of UQ, which you can either reach by bus or walk (~25-30 min). The house, surrounded by nature in a very quite street, has 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open living area and a large balcony. The rent is $210 a week and includs water, gas and internet. Electricity bills are payed every 3-4 months (~30/ month). Currently, three students and a full-time professional live in the house. Amazing location, 50m to Dutton Park station, close to Woolworths and Coles. Commercially laid out kitchen with new appliances and leading out to a currently rebuilt deck. Living room has been left to a lego collection but can be re-converted back for shared living. The bathroom is the largest room in the house and contains a cast iron bath, standalone shower with 50cm shower head and also has storage and a deep freeze. Under the house has storage, laundry and theoretically (or at least at earlier times) was additional bedrooms. Place is a older and is a few years from being knocked down, internally it has large rooms, high ceilings and keeps temperature well. The gardens need a lot of work but still appear to be capable of growing herbs and chillies. There are two rooms available, both are 3.2m by 3.2m. One has aironditioning and the other has fans, both lead out to the landing. Two dogs live here, a mini daschunds and a mastiff kelpie. Both are friendly and generally have the run of the house. Living here involves some dog sitting from time to time. There is a house netflix account, high speed internet and more lego projects than is probably normal.

This is a nice, roomy 3 bedroom house with a combined living/dining space and fairly large bathroom and kitchen. You can walk across the bridge to UQ in 30 minutes or less and there are convenient busses and trains to the city and southbank (Dutton Park is our closest station). We are very close to the PA hospital. There's driveway access and under the house is a laundry and lots of hanging space for rainy days. The bedroom itself is a built-in verandah with new carpet and lots of windows. It's a long room so there's room for a computer desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and any other furniture you might like in there. Please note that the railway line is very close by - we're next to the line with a sound barrier about 10m away from the back yard. The noise doesn't stop me from sleeping and I haven't had any complaints from my housemates either, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.
