We are preferrably looking for a male to fill the room and there is a possibility of us getting a cat in the future. I am the owner of the apartment and live here with my partner, Katrina. I am looking for someone to fill the spare room, the bedroom is unfurnished whilst the apartment is fully furnished. I am looking for someone that will stay at least 6 months. There will be a lease for this period which will be ongoing after the 6 months and the bond will be registered with the RTA. It is a good sized bedroom (3.7m x 3.1m) in our 2 bedroom apartment where you will have your own bathroom which you will only have to share with guests, as it is the main bathroom. The bedroom has a built in wardrobe and a ceiling fan. It can easily fit a queen bed and a desk. There is air conditioning in the living room with a big tv, large balcony for entertaining or chilling outside on the couch, modern appliances, a good coffee machine, dishwasher, and we get a nice breeze through as it is on the second floor. There is some space in the garage where we can store extra things. There is also a robot vacuum who's name is Wall-E. The apartment is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute ride to brookeside shopping centre down the end of the road or a 8 minute drive down to stafford shopping centre. It is also well connected to public transport as gaythorne train station is a 5 minute walk away and there are buses that go through as well. It is on a quiet street with not much traffic (no thru road) in a quiet, peaceful suburb, no loud neighbours. Due to the nature of being a 2 bedroom apartment, we need someone who will be reasonably clean, as it's hard to work around someone elses mess.

Due to the size of the place it's common that you'll only bump into the other roomies whenever we cross in the kitchen, so if you're concerned about privacy being crowded - don't be! Plenty of space with 3 rooms upstairs and currently 1 person downstairs. Very safe and quiet neighbourhood within a short walking distance to city buses, and a medium walking distance to the trainline and some local shops. It's a very short drive to larger shopping centres, with Coles, Woolworths, and an Aldi only a few moments away. For students without vehicles, getting to UQ or QUT is not too much of a hassle, and it only takes me about 40 minutes to get to UQ (Google Maps says it would take only 30mins to get to QUT Kelvin Grove). Typically only takes about 10-15 minutes by personal transport to get to the city. We have a sizeable yard, pretty large kitchen with a gas stovetop, gas hot water, three large bedrooms upstairs and one large one downstairs. Two of the three upstairs rooms have their own airconditioning and the other has an ensuite. None of the rooms share walls, so privacy is abundant. There are two living spaces upstairs, one with airconditioning, and one living space downstairs. Storage available in the garage, with a carport out the front with space for two vehicles. We have unlimited cable internet with Optus (30mbits). If you are a gamer or enjoy downloading and streaming, this should suit you nicely, with an optional speed pack (100mbit) for an extra cost per month that we can negotiate for if required. All bills are split evenly and come to about $20 per week (this is taken in addition to the weekly rent). This is not a party house. Peace and quiet is preferred, but you may of course have some mates over; we are not antisocial and BBQs are always a great time :) Smokers are OK but you may only smoke outside. No pets, sorry! Might make an exception for a well behaved cat if we can keep it a secret :)

The unit is located very nice and close to multiple fast food options including grilled,subway,sushi,burrito bar,kfc and multiple other ones not to mention being within walking distance to coles and woolworths and a few gyms. The unit has a nice and new kitchen with heaps of space and cupboards leading around to the loungeroom, it also has air-con in the main bedroom and the living room. The unit is tiled throughout and was completely renovated a few years back so its all nice and new on the inside, the downstairs garage has some of my boxes and a few other bits and pieces but more then enough room for a vehicle.
