*3 bedroom, air conditioned townhouse, with dishwasher, car space in garage, close to city and public transport (train and bus). Own shower, shared toilet. Sharing home with myself and my two indoor cats. *
Your room will be upstairs next door to the spare room/ my office space when I’m working from home. You are welcome to move into either the room my current housemate is moving out of or spare room as they are the same size with built in cupboards and ceiling fans.
You will have your own bathroom (shower) space but the toilet is shared. There is a front deck and separate balcony space facing the back, I would like to add some outdoor furniture at some point this year for cosy outdoor reads or meals/drinks so if you have any ideas let me know.
There is a garage space that is not currently occupied if you have a car (and plenty of on street parking usually) but we are also about a 6 minute walk from gaythorne train station and the 390 bus. Easy access to the city or Kelvin Grove for QUT students.
There is a cafe on our street that does amazing coffees, matchas and toasties and we’re also a ten minute bus ride from Coles/woolies and mitchelton farmers market once a month. I also like to go to the Kelvin grove markets that are every Saturday as they have affordable fruits and veggies and great food options.
The house is furnished but if you have anything you would like to bring we can probably find a space or store it in the garage. My housemate is happy to leave her bed and mattress (single) if preferred or we can move it out if you have your own bed.
I hope that you’d feel comfortable at home and don’t have to worry about making noise or having visitors over, but it’s definitely not a party house - as the property is close to neighbours and within a body corporate.

Hi I’m Lily- a 30yo early childhood teacher and educator looking for a new housemate. My current housemate and friend unfortunately has to move out of Brisbane for work so I’m looking for somebody to take her space.
I mostly keep to myself when I am at home but I’m happy to hang out and watch tv/ go for meals together if you’re up for that. When I’m not working I like to see friends, go to the gym, read, play games (video or board) etc.
It’s important to note I have two cats (Kiki and Zuko) who are indoor only (with some supervised balcony time) so someone who is comfortable around pets and can be careful not to let them out of the house is what I am looking for.
I am not a clean freak but I always try to do an even amount of cleaning in the home- so that we can enjoy the shared spaces in our home and I hope that whoever moves in would be open to discussing some kind of cleaning routine/ expectation that suits our schedules.
