The room is a good size and is fully furnished, with a double bed, nice wooden desk and chair, set of draws, built in wardrobe, iron and ironing board. The room also has split system air-conditioning, heater and a fan. The place is very quiet, peaceful and clean and we intend to keep it that way, so we are looking for a clean and mature person between the ages of 25-35. You will have to be either studying or working, or both :-). It is a nice place on a quiet street, we get very nice breezes here and it is very relaxing, ideal for studying. You will have nice trees outside your window too 😊. We have two bathrooms which is good for those busy mornings and both bathrooms have their own front loader washing machines. We also have a water filter machine for clean drinking water and two fridges. It’s located on Peach St in Greenslopes, It’s only a 7 minute walk to the Greenslopes bus station, ideal for a student or someone working in the city. It’s a 5 min bus trip to Griffith University and a 10min bus ride to UQ University from the bus station. Very convenient! And it’s only about 12mins to the CBD via bus. The place is only 4kms from the CBD. The rent is $175 per week which includes all bills, electricity, water,gas, Unlimited Wi-Fi internet and use of all the kitchen appliances and utensils (no more to pay). There will be a bond of $350 (two weeks rent), plus one week’s rent upfront, $175. The WIFI internet is very fast and reliable. Females only please and no couples sorry. And Preferably Vegetarians or Vegans 😊 You will be living with 2 females only upstairs and sharing a bathroom with them. There is two others living downstairs that use a seperate bathroom. There is no fixed contract term, just one month minimum stay and we just require 3 weeks notice if you want to leave. We prefer to live with people that sleep normal hours, eg. 10pm to 6am Non-smokers only please and no party animals either. If you have a car there is street parking only. Very convenient location to get around to shops, restaurants, grocery shops, cafes, gym, banks, bottle shop, post office, chemistry, transport office, parks, etc, everything you need is just a few metres walk distance to the shopping centre, even IGA and a bunch of all other shops are only a few minutes down the road if you're looking for more options. Literally only 10 seconds walk-distance to the bus stop. All-night buses on Friday and Saturday from the city so you don't have to worry about catching taxis or anything in case you go out on the weekend. Each room has lovely timber floors, high ceilings, and large wardrobes with full length mirrors on the sliding doors. House is mostly furnished other than your bedrooms. I own a fridge, large comfy couch, TV (with Netflix!), washing machine, and dryer. I also own heaps of glassware, electronics, pots and pans, and plates, etc, so you don’t need to worry too much about that either. The lounge room is air conditioned too :) internet is included with rent but all other bills are separate. The floor plan says bedroom 3 is 3.7m but I don’t think this is correct, it’s more like 3.3 tops. It’s smaller than bedroom 2 and doesn’t have a fan. Downstairs is a large rumpus room with the laundry/extra toilet in a separate room next to it. It’s a great communal place to hang out with friends or if you just want to get away from it all :) there is also a lock up garage and a guest car park behind the house. Usually there is a park at the front of the house on the street too. Living with us will be my cat Luna. She is very cute, friendly (loves to cuddle on her own terms) and obviously toilet trained. She is an indoor cat and is restricted to just the balcony but no further! The balcony also has some nice views of the city in the distance, and is a nice place to sit and have a drink in the afternoon. I love this house because it’s so close to exciting areas like Stones Corner, heaps of cafes, and is a 10 minute walk to the Buranda bus/train station. I have been living here with my partner since only September but he will be moving out very soon, and I can’t afford to live here on my own.
