Hi Peoples, My name is Andy and I have a HUGE master bedroom available in a Merewether cottage, right near the beach, close to the junction and walking distance everywhere. The house has lounge, kitchen and living area's including front and back porch and decking with a garden, enough space for friends or your own company. There is heaps of room and storage space, the house is fully furnished and the rental room is the master room with wardrobe and desk if wanted. It has been a happy little home for me for many years now, lots of character. It is a home not a party house - although new friends and socials are always on here :) The rent is half of $380 P/W. I have been paying $230 P/W for 3 years and it has fully covered my rent, electricity, gas, water and High speed unlimited internet bills without any extra payments. Previous flatmate and friend payed $190 and just chipped in for bills when they arrived. Oh and you will also get your own fridge and pantry aswell.

Nice tidy house in merewether. Big room with plenty of storage space. New bed with comfy mattress. House is fully furnished but feel free to bring extra things. Unlimited internet, bbq out the back and great private courtyard to relax in after a day at work. Close to the beach about a 5 min drive and the same to the junction shops.

We have a room available in Hamilton South for 150pw (plus bills which we split equally). It's a nice old three-bedroom house which has been fully renovated with gas cooking and dishwasher. The room that's available is 3.7 x 3 and you'd only be sharing the main bathroom with one other. We're in a great location close to town and beaches, and although the house is situated on a main road we have access to a side street through a back entry to parking is never an issue.

This is a great spot. The property is less than a 5 minute walk to the Newcastle Post Graduate Business School and Music School. A short walk to the Foreshore, Darby street and beaches. You do not need a car living here as it is close to public transport or a flat bike ride to most areas of interest in Newcastle. We live in a cosy little terrace house on the leafy boulevard that is James Street. It is a mere 200 metres from Beaumont Street which is really handy. With cuisine ranging from the exotic (Cappadocia Kebabs) to the spicy (Raj's corner) to the Australian staple schnitty and chips (The Greenroof). So many tasty choices. You'll never save money again! Centrally located we're about 10 mins drive from the beach in one direction and just 15 mins from the uni in the other. If you're really adventurous Hamilton train station is just 10 minutes walk away - 5 minutes if you power walk. The room its self is the biggest in the house, with its own entry from the front of the building. In the photos thats a queen size bed, so theres plenty of floor space. The room can be furnished or unfurnished up to you for what is more convenient. Our lease ends in February next year so we'd need someone until then. Can potentially renew the lease for next year as well if thats the way it goes :) Now all that's left is to come have a gander.
