This house is awesome because it has heaps of character and heaps of art everywhere! The backyard is really big with a veggie garden and a chicken coop and banana tree. We also have a front balcony which has nice sunset city views.

Our place is just like a holiday house! It's close to the beach, close to pubs and restaurants, and has great living and entertaining areas. Perfect for a friendly bbq, deck yoga or a workout session. Air-conditioning throughout 👌 The room available for rent is a room which used to be a study so its pretty small and has a built in desk in it. It doesn't have built ins but we will provide wardrobes which can go wherever you prefer :) 😀 ****We aren't offering any leases as the landlords are planning on putting the house on the market sometime at the end of the year/beginning of next year. Appropriate notice would be given*** There are four girls and 1 guys who live in the house. We are all young professionals in our 20s and all get along really well. We have the occasional drink together but also respect each others privacy. We split all bills equally between us. No lease. Right across the road from Merewether baths/ beach, short walk to beaches hotel and the classy surfhouse, I'll share my Netflix no problem. Great spot if you like running not just surfing. Room has built in wardrobe with mirror and a queen size bed in it if you need it or not I can get rid of it. Shared bathroom which also contains the toilet which can be a problem, just a heads up. Split the electricity and gas bills also I have NBN unlimited internet, which works out to be $40 a month each.

This room does have a built-in however so clothes storage is already included. There is also an outdoor terrace that is technically shared with the adjoining unit, but it has been vacant for the past 2.5 years so at least for now you would have this all to yourself. The unit is on the top floor of a four unit building (two units at the top, two at the bottom) and with the adjacent unit being vacant it lends it to being a very peaceful space. The apartment is fully-carpeted (with the exception of the kitchen and bath, of course). The neighbour below is extremely quiet, and because he's in the military he is rarely home. The other neighbour (diagonally below) is an elderly woman and her daughter whom takes care of her. She maintains a garden in the back yard with spices (basil, chives, chilli pepper) even passionfruit that you can take as you please. High speed internet is also included in the rent. We are seeking $445 a week + electricity (as noted, gas, water and internet included in the rent) and looking for a lessor that would be looking to stay up until Australia day (Sunday 26 Jan 2020).
