About the property
Just a minute walk from The Prince and less than 15 minute walk to Dixon Park Beach and The Junction.
Decent amount of street parking.
We keep communal areas incredibly clean & tidy and only ask you do the same. We also share expenses on communal house essentials (tp, dishwashing powder, bin bags etc). There is also access to a garage that is used as storage. Jodie has a little art studio set up & Taylor has his home office in there.
Brand new renovated bathroom upstairs and a second toilet and shower downstairs off the laundry - although we don't really use it. We have a courtyard out the back - we keep saying we're going to do something with it but never do.
The house is fully furnished other than your room.
Your room gets morning sun and an afternoon breeze, there is enough room for a queen bed, dresser and/or clothes rack, mirror and laundry basket. As this room has no built in storage we also have a cupboard in the hallway available to just you.

About the flatmates

We’re Jodie (30) and Taylor (30). We're both originally from the Central Coast - but met here in Newy! Just housemates and long term mates - not a couple!
Jodie works as a marketing manager and Taylor works as a mortgage broker. We both work Monday to Friday (9 - 5pm). Jodie works from home occasionally and Taylor works for himself full time and has a part time job. Ideally we're hoping for another young professional with a similar schedule.
We both enjoy living the low key & laid back beach life.
Jodie also has a 14 year old cat named Nixie 🐱 and a 3 year old golden retriever named Ollie 🐶 - it's Nixie's house, we're just living in it. Nix is a social girl who spends her days indoors sun-baking and just enjoys sitting in your company. Ollie is the most beautiful boy, he will greet you excitedly whenever you return home, he isn't very vocal but is very friendly. He goes to work with Jodie so he isn't at home during the day.
Unfortunately we cannot take any more animals - but we do need our new roomie to be an animal lover as it is a small home.
If we’re not at the work we’re at the beach, gone for a surf or at the gym. Neither of us are huge party people but don’t mind a few low key drinks at home or at the local. We don’t live in each other’s pockets but will enjoy spending time together over meals or watching tv.
We are looking for someone with a similar schedule and ideally close in age. Someone clean, laid back and social that will match our relaxed vibe & occasionally hang out with us after work.
