Beautiful house in a relatively quiet street in Gaythorne. We have a dog, that when she gets used to you will be annoying you for all the pats! There is a big yard with a big clothesline and lots of shade from a beautiful frangipani tree. Storage under the house, not heaps as a builder lives here so it's taken up with wood and stuff. THE ROOM: Quite big, square in shape, that comes off the loungeroom. Has storage racks on the wall and a pretty chandelier. Probably turns into the darkest room in the house due to the blind. North facing window. There is a bit of furniture in the room that can easily be removed if you don't need it. Shelves, office chair and full length mirror. We are a relatively clean household. Obviously we are all only human, so just clean up after yourself and dont be a dick to live with and we will get on good. A little social interaction never goes astray so feel free to chat and have a drink with us. Nice little verandah out front, does back onto other two rooms so be considerate of noise. Shared bathroom but a separate toilet. Showerhead is effing amazing, but wasting water ain't cool and we all pay for water so don't be a fish in that mother. Interested? Hit me up. There will be a space in the garage for you once I've cleaned it out, but currently it's on-street parking only (garage will also only fit a small car once it's ready). The townhouse is split level, so there are stairs. The lounge/dining area is air conditioned, and also has multiple sliding doors opening to the outside if you want a breeze. There is a small courtyard which I don't often use so it's a bit neglected at the moment, but I have plans to improve it. Internet, basic Foxtel, Netflix, Stan, and Amazon Prime are included in the rent. Utilities (electricity, gas, water) are additional, but average around $140 per month. Nearest bus stops are for 360, 350, 351, 354, 357, 359, & 599. 360 is less than 5 minutes' walk, and the rest are about 10-12 minutes. Nearest train station is Mitchelton, which is about a 25 minute walk (downhill there, uphill home). I'm an IT lawyer, so I need to make it clear that I can't have anyone in the house downloading anything unlawfully via the internet. If my IP address was associated with unlawful downloading, I could lose my practising certificate, so it's just not worth it no matter how stupid I think our laws are. You have access to Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, and basic Foxtel (which we can upgrade if there are other channels you want), so hopefully you can get all the content you need from those, or we can subscribe to others as well. I have an indoor only cat, so I need someone who is careful to close outside doors behind them. He's a sweetheart and a big sook, and has never bitten or scratched anyone - he will run and hide if uncomfortable rather than lash out. The remaining items in the room will be removed before you move in, and I'll be repainting it and likely replacing the blinds. If necessary, I could provide a double bed and beside tables for the room. I would like someone who is a non-smoker, quiet, clean and tidy, and respectful of other people's things, and who likes cats. I would also prefer someone who doesn't want to entertain people in the house often (I won't do this either, so we can both be respectful of each other's space).

The entire house is furnished. Plenty of storage available. Shops are 2 minute walk. Quiet street. Ready for someone to move in. I currently live in the house alone and have done so for a while. The rent marked is exactly half of what I pay currently as all living areas would be shared. The only difference in the bedrooms in this size. Which is a very minuscule difference. The bedroom available has a built in wardrobe. If you have your own bed the third vacant bedroom can either be used as a spare room for guests, office space or anything really.
