THE ROOM.. is large, carpeted, high ceilings, big windows facing the street (to the east) and currently partly furnished (wardrobe, dressing table with drawers, bookshelf, bedside table – simple but functional) - you may only need to source a bed. THE HOUSE (1950's miner’s cottage/bungalow/maisonette) is cute, cosy and I keep it clean; nothing too fancy but it's comfortable. Gas hot water and cooking. Bathroom has a shower and tub. There’s also a little backyard and a second toilet down the garden path (adjacent to the laundry). The neighbours are lovely and the area is pretty awesome - it's a 6-min walk to the shops (Coles or Foodland), there's a bus stop at the end of the street (approximately 10-20mins to the city) and there are plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants/pubs/gyms/etc within walking distance. Parking is basically on-street for which residents have a permit however there’s also a shared driveway and the neighbours would be happy to discuss a suitable arrangement should the need arise. No air-con in summer is perhaps the biggest downside to the place but even then, it generally stays pretty cool or for the most part, a fan is adequate. I have a cat - female, 3yrs, desexed, black/tortoiseshell, short-hair, house-trained, friendly enough but mostly keeps to herself. No mess, no fuss. You won’t need to take any responsibility here.

Room available in a cute cottage home in Norwood. The house is on a beautiful street lined with cherry blossom trees & super close to the city. The house has great character with wooden floorboards & is in a central location very close to the city (20 min walk to Rundle St) & close to the Parade cafes/shops. The home is equipped with heating/cooling, dishwasher & space for on-street parking. The bedroom is currently unfurnished but can be partly furnished if need be. There is also some space for any living room/dining room furnishings & there is an extra room out the back that has the potential to be an additional living space. The backyard is quite large & has plenty of space for a veggie garden. I've made a poor attempt at one but there is definitely room for improvement for a housemate with a green thumb!
my place is just a very short walk from the parade, norwood which features a plethora of cafes bars, restaurants, retail shopping and anything else you could possibly need. the property is tucked away off the street so it is very private and quiet. its also about a 15 minute walk to the city. the location is very central with access to bus services less than 2 minutes walk in every direction. you will be able to utilise the large garden and veggie patch on the property. the room that is available is medium sized and gets lots of sunlight and air. the kitchen and bathroom are fairly modern and clean. gas oven and stove. reverse cycle air conditioning. the lounge area is large with a big t.v and a decent sound system.

My two housemates and I are seeking a roomie to live with us in a lovely old house in Beulah Park on a quiet street. We are a corner block and have lots of on road parking. The room is big and at the front of the house with a window. The room is carpeted and unfurnished. The room has no airconditioner or heater but as its an old house it stays cool in summer. Winter is chilly but we all just rug up and use little heaters. We have a nice garden that you can have a go at if you want to plant anything and also a fluffy angel of a cat. The house has one bathroom, pretty good internet, and the landlord and owners are super dooper nice and really easy going. ALSO our neighbours are awesome, an old italian couple who give us pasta bakes and let us use their mower. The rent is super cheap, 196.20 a fortnight to be very specific, and we are maybe 2 minutes walk from the bus stop.
Around the corner from the Parade Norwood, on portrush rd so can hear the traffic and trucks (must be okay with this). 2 bedrooms, one spacious shared bathroom. Car garage not being used by myself so can use for their own car. Dining room, living room, kitchen, separate laundry and a spacious courtyard. Bus stop right outside gate. I work during the day and on weekends. Not home every night. Friends come over on weekends for drinks and we usually go out. Place is fully furnished.
Super close and easily accessible to the city, close to the Parade, quiet residential area. Upstairs bedrooms are private, with spacious downstairs shared living space and outdoor area for relaxing and hanging out! House already equipped with all utilities.
True independent living in spacious rooming/share house in prestigious Toorak Gardens. Door locks on all rooms, unlimited internet included, reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning, three showers and toilets, lovely grounds with bbq/entertaining area. The house offers a sense of separation whilst having a good working communal feel. One minute from Burnside Village shopping centre and public transport. Five mins to city.
This property has a pool, is large, is close to the city (10 min drive), air conditioning, close to bus (2 minute walk), 5 mins from Norwood Parade. Walking distance from Trinity gardens primary school. The rooms available are adjoining so you could have a bedroom and a study/lounge. The rooms are at the front of the house with amazing light. Polished floor boards. The house has unlimited Wifi for all your streaming needs :)
Great location, quiet residential area just 5 minute walk to The Parade and Magill Road. 10 minute walk to Glynburn Road and Portrush Road. 10 minutes by bus to the city. Close to shops, gyms and great eating places. Bath and shower. High double bed, great for storage.
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP ...... International Students welcome. Its a lovely old home 4klm from the City. The bus feeds directly into North Terrace/Adelaide Uni/UNISA City East campus from Stop 10 on Magill Road and takes about 10-15 mins to get into the City in off-peak. This B10 bus is also on the direct route to UNISA Magill campus via Magill Road which would take 10-15 mins. The house is old and a bit cracked up but very comfortable and everything works. $20 extra (you will not be asked to pay any more!) covers all Bills including Electricity, Gas, Water and we have BigPond Cable Internet - very fast/your share which is 100gig/month is also included in the bills. Usually occupied by a female overseas student who wants the room back in February 2018, it is a cute/small room overlooking the large/spacious rear garden at the back of the house and comes fully furnished. We would love someone until the end of January/early February but would consider a shorter term for the right person. We are looking for a quiet, respectful person who can appreciate it's a pretty good deal for this part of the city.
Our big old house in St Peters has plenty of space and charm. High ceilings, wooden floorboards, and a nice big green backyard with a couple of hammocks and a fire pit. It's just a few kms out of the heart of the CBD, close to the shops, local cafés, bustops, city Universities and the River Torrens. The streets are lined with beautiful trees and also have plenty of space for parking. The house is furnished, however, we are working on getting a new dining table and chairs. The bedroom itself is unfurnished. It is big enough to fit a queen bed, side tables, clothes racks, and could also fit a desk. It has a nice big window that receives the morning sunshine. Rent is paid fortnightly- bills are additional to this and are split evenly between us, bond is $520 and is to be paid prior to moving in. We are looking for someone who is respectful and reliable, who will pay bills on time with no hassles, tidy up after themselves, and do their share of cleaning. Serious stuff aside, we are a fun and sociable bunch and are looking for someone who will get involved with family dinners and the odd adventure. Smoking is okay, however only outside.
It's a gorgeous house with decent sized bedrooms, a large living area and a good size garden. The house is very close to the city, yet in a very quiet court. You'll be sharing the house with 2 other people, 1 being a 35-year-old female professional/student, the other one being a female PhD student. Very clean, tidy, friendly and helpful. At the moment one room is available. Price listed is including water, electricity and Internet.
Why do you want to move in to this grand old house: * Awesome location- close to transport, city, cafes, shops, pubs, parks and running tracks * Great price- this generously sized room has the BEST natural lighting of all the rooms in the house, big built ins and beautiful polished timber floors * Space, space and more space! It might seem a lot to live with 4 other people but this house more than accommodates! Huge kitchen where multiple people can cook simultaneously with ease. Massive dining and seperate lounge areas means theres no need to live in each others pockets * Enclosed front AND backyards- providing security, privacy and a green thumbs haven (we even have a veggie patch!) What we are looking for in a housemate: * House trained- someone who understands house sharing dynamics, common area courtesy and respect differing schedules * Someone who likes to do activities and socially interact- we like to do things together (it's definitely not a party house though) * Someone who is interested in living in a home not just a share house * Some furniture and house related items will win bonus points! We have most things but there are a few holes to fill. The house is massive and there is quite substantial storage so please feel free to contribute as much as you like! The new lease just started so, I am ideally looking for people to move in straight away. Rent can be paid weekly or fortnightly and all bills will be split evenly 5 ways (net/ water/ gas/ electricity). Bond is $700, an annoying outlay I know. Please feel free to ask any further questions- I'll do my best to answer as quickly and thoroughly as possible. If you like what you read and think you could be a good fit please send a little about yourself!! Jo :)
