Our beautiful home is located just off of the Parade in Norwood! There's 1 off street car park available + another for guests. Parking on the street is a possibility but you'll have to get a permit from the council! We have a pet cat named Dolly & she's a very non-destructive fluffball. Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ pursue hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is very old, circa 1880 and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. The space is a quiet place and best suited for those who like peaceful living, with the occasional dinner with friends and good banter. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap, however i am open to single applicants also. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly. I have lived in 9 properties (including this) in 2 years in Adelaide, but this one is my favorite: 1) Location. The left is Ruddle St (famous bars cafes restaurants shops etc.) and Ruddle Mall (supermarket Mall etc.), anyway it is the most popular place in Adelaide, you never get bored and feel hungry here; the right is East Terrace and Rymill Park (convenient to everywhere on public traffic and calm down on Parkland!). The front is Uni Adelaide and North Terrace, the behind is the Adelaide college (language courses) and Grenfell Street. It is the heaven for students and people who like colorful modern fashion lives. 2) It is very very very quite though surrounded by business, bar and cafe. The windows of your bedroom (and the whole property) towards a quite street, and you will never be disturbed by any noise, even in weekend night. 3) Good furniture. The furniture is very decent in the apartment and the bedroom, though it is purchased by the landlord, it's not the cheap thing or sth. from IKEA. Even the detail is perfectly designed. I like to sit on the sofa on my balcony, enjoy and have a relax. 4) Large space. This bedroom is relatively large compared with others in CBD. It is around 12 square meters with double-bed desk chair wardrobes and some other basic devices.

We are in a fantastic location! We are right across from Botanic Park and about a 15 min walk from Rundle Street! Great for anyone who works or studies in the city or enjoys walking or riding through the parklands. We're right next to the Hackney hotel and a leisurely stroll from FIX specialty coffee. The room available will be empty but the rest of the house is furnished and we've got plenty of kitchen ware, herbs n spices etc. We also have a gas cook top and oven a coal BBQ out the back. Unfortunately we don't have any functional air conditioning for summer but we do have roof fans and pretty rad blow up pool. Also the lack of A/C helps to cut down a lot on the power bill. The house is pretty small and we have a bricked backyard courtyard which is easy to maintain. We have one park off street that we allocate on a first come first served basis. The room available is about 15 sq meters, with hardwood floorboards with an eastern facing window. Bond is $500 which is roughly 3 weeks rent. We are ideally looking for someone who's keen to stay on for at least 6 months but we are also pretty flexible.
