One bedroom is soon to be available in our townhouse. It will be unfurnished but has a built-in robe and an access to balcony. It fits a queen size bed with plenty of space for other furnishings. This two storey townhouse has three air-conditioned bedrooms, a study and a common bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has an open kitchen/living area, a laundry and a second toilet. The house also has a private courtyard area to enjoy. Whilst the house is a little dated and could benefit from some TLC, the location and cheaper rent more than make up for it! Superbly located just off The Parade, within easy walking distance to all amenities (Argo, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pubs, gyms, cinema, Norwood Oval). Street parking is available with a free permit. Public transport is also easily accessible with a very short walk to bus stop 9 on The Parade.
What’s not to love about being walking distance to The Parade in Norwood? The flat is in a share block of 8 with quiet neighbours. It’s been renovated on the inside and is fully furnished with up to date furniture. It has split system air conditioning and a courtyard. The room up for grabs is the master with a floor to ceiling mirrored in-built robe, and is furnished with a queen bed with under bed storage, bedside tables, a sitting chair, desk and desk chair and a bookshelf. It also has big French style windows that open up into the courtyard. Internet is included in the rent and there is off-street parking in a garage, or plenty of on street parking.
The house has a nice large open plan living/kitchen/dining area with plenty of natural light, which opens out onto the quaint back garden. The bedroom on offer is a decent size. Great location, situated just a 5 minute walk from the shopping precinct on the Parade. Very close to the CBD too. The house is fully furnished, you would just need your own bedroom furniture. All internet and utilities are included in the rent
The price reflects the suburb, sharing a large house with only one other, bills, having your own private area and bathroom and a executive style of living. Bills included (water, electricity, gas, internet). Large bedroom with queen bed, desk and built in wardrobe. You will have your own bathroom. The bedroom is on the opposite side of the house to my room, so you will have a lot of privacy and won't hear any noise etc. Great environment for study. Large house with 2 x living areas, balconies. A/C, dishwasher and washing machine. House is kept clean and tidy. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Close to the city. Sorry not suitable for couples Sorry no pets
It’s an awesome location to stroll to the Parade, ride to the CBD or just head out of the city to the Hills. The room is huge with a walk in robe (small but enough) and its own balcony looking east so there’s a lot of beautiful morning light. It also has it’s own heating and cooling.
Hi all! We are currently in a great place in Norwood, but due to new work opportunities interstate, are currently in the process of moving out of our leased property. As such, there is a 4 bedroom house coming up for grabs that's ideally located nearby to the city. The current lease is only 2 months in to its 12 month period, so ideally we are looking for up to 4 people to move in and take our places! (If you're in a group, please let me know!) The property is an older home, with double brick insulation throughout. The ceiling are quite high, and it has a definite character to it. Some more features: * The room vary in size slightly, with the smallest being roughly 2.5m x 3.5m. * Kitchen includes an electric stovetop, electric oven and cupboard space. * The single bathroom comprises of a shower, separate bath, toilet and vanity. There is also a separate laundry area with a second toilet. * The backyard has a lawn that is rather easy to maintain with a mow, and accompanying garden shed and plants growing along the back fence. * Long driveway that goes down the side of the house through to the backyard. * Gas heater in the main hallway. * Cellar with entrance from the laundry area. * ADSL2+ able (no NBN just yet, but I see them doing work in the street, so who knows!) * Easy walking distance to the CBD, the Parade, and a local Coles. I've lived in the property myself for just over 4 years now, and its been incredibly convenient while working in the city. Its also just a short walk from the parade and the local Coles. As we are "Assigning the lease", it will be a requirement to sign on to the existing lease, and contribute towards a bond for the property. Please keep this in mind. The bond is collectively $2800 for the property. For a house of 4, that would be roughly $700 each - despite what the room options let me pick on this site! Weekly rent combined for the property is $495.
Would you prefer to live in a home? With privacy, quiet and a relaxed atmosphere? Not a student mega-house? Also, its a nice walk/ride along the Parade and through the park to the city... Popular and highly sought after area to live in, especially if you work and study in the City. Such a lovely character house, and perfect location being so close to city/unis/ Parade shops - very safe, quiet and tree filled neighbourhood, great for bike riders, ... overall great chilled out space with a homely environment and warm, friendly household. Private garden areas front and large back yard with 8 seater dinner table, so spaces to entertain or have some quiet time! - Largest room available, UNFURNISHED although wardrobe available. Fireplace, high ceilings, ample storage. Can be furnished with bed, desk and drawers for an extra $5 per week. ***3 min walk to bus stop, 10mins to city, buses every 15 mins. *** 8 min walk to the cosmopolitan street of The Parade with multiple cafes, pubs, restaurants, (sushi train anyone?!), supermarkets and shop to your hearts desire with a multitude of fashion outlets! Looking for someone who wants to come back to a home at the end of the day, not just have a room to sleep in! But also someone who is easygoing and has an active lifestyle. While rarely home, we love to check in with each other and have a chat to catch up. Internet is $20 a month and elec/water billed quarterly and split 3 ways. Please do call or sms to arrange a viewing ! AVAILABLE NOW

Norwood is a very nice and green area, with a lot of shops, pubs, cinema, cafes and restaurants around. It is 10 minutes from the city by car and bike, 15 min by bus (East side of CBD). There is a Coles and Foodland 5 minutes walk from the house. There are also some gyms, yoga, pilates studios within walking distance. The property has a small backyard with some small plants and trees and a nice living room connected with the kitchen. Very cozy and clean environment. The bedroom is suitable only for 1 person. No couples. I'm sorry. As we only have one bathroom, it would be hard to share it between 3 people. At the bedroom you will have a double bed, desk with a chair and a chest of 3 drawers. Perfect location to shops, restaurants but still relatively quiet. The property is pretty modern with great facilities including a washing machine and dishwasher, very homely, and has a nice size balcony too. Photos show the kitchen, bathroom and spare room plus garage for parking or storage. The property has ducted heating & cooling & is inside a secure gated area.
Two separate rooms available, both with immediate move-in dates! We have a spacious, homely and characteristically charming house located ten minutes cycling distance from Norwood and the city (five minutes driving distance), shared with laid back, fun-loving people. Our shared living areas include a well furnished gazebo for the nice days, a spacious decorated living room with roaring gas heater; and the heart of our home lays within the backyard - an open bonfire barrel which doubles as a coal barbecue (bonfire nights in winter are the best), and a vegetable patch that needs a bit of love and green hands, but has a lovely potting bench. The juice from the orange tree is as sweet as OJ gets, and if you feel OJ isn't doing the trick, we have a healthy but enthusiastic approach to enjoying beer and wine together. Both rooms are big enough to fit desks, drum kits, and other fun stuff, so for the writers and musicians among us, there's plenty of ample space for solo creative time. High ceilings are also a nice touch for those who study. The house is fully furnished with all the kitchen and laundry essentials plus living room goodies, but the more the merrier in terms of decoration and personal belongings. Rent is $428 p/m (excluding bills and internet) and bond is 6 weeks rent.
