We have a lovely house in Red Hill (close to Enoggera Terrace), with a fully self-contained unit available to rent at the bottom of our house. The downstairs unit is one bedroom, one bathroom, a large kitchenette, laundry area, and living room/ dining room. There’s also a sound-proof room which I understand was for the owner’s drumming. You’d need to furnish it yourself but it’s a huge space and with the right furnishings could be a really lovely home! We would share a yard/washing line – however Tiggi generally lives in the yard when I’m not home so you’d need to share with him too 😊 The house is a short walk to the bus stop with a 15-20 minute bus ride into the city. It’s also convenient to shops, gyms, anything really! There’s Latrobe and Given Terraces within walking distance, which provides super easy access to cafes, restaurants, bars, and Suncorp Stadium. I’d love to have someone rent this that’s respectful and quiet that is happy to keep the unit clean. A non-smoker would suit. You would need to be happy to sign on to the lease, and it would be preferable if you could sign on for at least the year that I am signed on for (until 20 June 2019). I suspect I will extend longer than that too if you want to stay. Place is available from 7 July. The house has shared bills which include: unlimited internet, which is $45 each a month. Bills are additional to rent, and include water and electricity (maybe gas but I’m not sure whether the house is fitted with that yet). These are to be split in two between us given the house setup. I haven’t moved in yet, so will get more photos when I do as these don’t do the huge space justice. I’m a 33yo professional that works full time in the city and enjoys a quiet lifestyle. I love running, doing yoga, cooking and exploring our city on the weekends with friends. I’d be happy to get to know you and socialise from time to time over a wine or dinner. Tiggi is my best friend: a medium sized dog with a big personality, but is also very quiet, has been through lots of training and is super well-behaved! He really likes to play ball. The house is super close to public transport, cycling/walking distance to the city and close to shops and cafes in Paddington. The room itself is really spacious and gets heaps of natural light. We have a cute little backyard and a nice deck which gets beautiful afternoon sun (a prime spot for drinks or reading a book!) There is a separate laundry downstairs with some extra storage space for stuff like suitcases. There's a nice deck overlooking our garden. The garden is mowed by the landlord on average once a month. The garden backs onto a park which you can walk through to get to the bus stop, Aldi and Bancroft Park. The 345, 390, 360, 361 and 371 all run from the closest bus stop. It's about a 10min bus ride to QUT Kelvin Grove and 15-20 min to the city. Water is included in the rent but electricity and internet is not included. We pay rent every fortnight, internet once a month and electricity every 3 months. Free street parking. If you want to inspect the property, any time this month is perfect.

This townhouse is tucked away in Red Hill in a private leafy development. The house is on a bus route that takes about 10 minutes into the city and it is setback from the road so really quiet. Also in walking distance to a really cute local cafe and supermarkets. There are two bedrooms on the ground level and I use one as a office so this is a quiet zone. The room has a great private view out onto a series of green back yards. The rest of the house is up a level with lounge, kitchen, dining room and 2 decks. The stainless kitchen is well stocked with all the latest cooking stuff and more. Depending on your position the resident cat is either a positive or negative.
