It's a short walk to the bus stop with a frequent service into town and Utas. Modern renovated bathroom and second toilet/laundry. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable livingroom, outside is a spacious deck with bbq and woodfired pizza oven. Limited offstreet parking but plenty of safe non metered street parking available. Small single room with built in wardrobe furnished with a single bed, desk & bedside drawer. The apartment is in a fourth floor penthouse in Sackville street Hobart with a large living room & kitchen area and huge wrap around balcony. There's a single large shared bathroom. There are 2 male housemates including me 33 working mostly weekends as a registered nurse & my housemate 35 who is a baker. The room itself is $200. $25 for NBN & electricity are included for a total of $225 per week. I am ultimately seeking another long-term housemate, not just stays of a few weeks or months. We only have one off-street parking space but it can be made available to you if you need to use a car regularly. IF YOU WANT A BIGGER ROOM, the much much bigger main room (also pictured) is a possible option instead but it would be $280 per week not including the ~$25 for NBN & electricity.

All bedrooms have windows and natural light, with stunning views of Mt Wellington from our kitchen/dining area. Cosy lounge, furnished (so there is pretty much only space in people's bedrooms for new housemate's furniture. It's a small place :)) Heating - gas in kitchen and electric in lounge. Bathroom - includes laundry facilities and toilet; mixed schedules help avoid traffic jams almost any time of day. There is a nice big bathtub, too :) Backyard - a lovely little space with clotheslines for drying linen, a small fruit tree and space for people to chill out and read/bbq etc Kitchen - gas stovetop and oven, space for dry food storage and two fridges between four. We compost our vegetable scraps and recycle as much as we can. Shared philosophy of using environmentally friendly kitchen and bathroom products is appreciated and preferred here, but we understand not everyone has learned these things wherever they come from, so we share what we know and always try to do better. Parking - on-street, one council permit available upon application with the HCC. Internet - shared NBN account Cleaning - very simple cooperative roster :) Surprisingly quiet home given how close we are to the Brooker Highway and the CBD. Very lucky noise break somwhere coming up the hill! Close to - Menzies Research Centre, the Theatre Royal, Hobart CBD, Hobart Aquatic Centre and Gym (2 min walk), bike track, Campbell St Woolworths Supermarket, 10 minutes to central bus stations and GPO, the Derwent Bridge to great beaches and the Brooker Highway to northern suburbs and beyond :)
The room is near the top floor in an apartment building which gives you 200 + degree view of Hobart. We get lots of natural light from all the large windows. The house is fully furnished and would suit someone who is bringing their clothes and linen. There is not much additional storage outside your room but the bed room has a large wall wardrobe. You have full access to the kitchen with air fryer, slow cooker, all the cutlery etc, 42" TV in the lounge room with a lovely sun room over looking the water. Your room comes with its own heater. The house is a 5 minute walk to Salamanca Place restaurants and bars and 5 minute walk to coffee shops. No allocated parking The bathroom is shared but you have your own mirror and sink. This property is only for very tidy people. This will likely be the exclusion criteria as well as the reason for terminating the tenancy early if tidiness can't be maintained. The rent is $320/week + $35/month for internet and elctricity will be split into 2 when the bill comes. Rent is paid on a monthly basis. It includes water. There is no gas to pay for.

AVAILABLE FROM early January 2020 to the 19th of January !!! Our apartment is located in Battery Point, close to Salamanca Place (less than 2 minutes). It’s also situated at 15-20 min from TasTAFE. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The area is safe and there is a secure door to access to the building. For us Battery Point is the best location, close to everything.
Our area of Howrah is a new and quiet Neighborhood with a doctor's office 2 minutes walk up the street from the house and five minutes walk to a butcher, a bottle shop and the bus stop. Our house is a huge with 7 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ,a large open plan kitchen/ diningroom / loungeroom. We have both an indoor and outdoor clotheslines There are two decks outside the house, one that wraps around the front of the house and a smaller one out back right off the bedrooms and there is a BBQ area which is currently a bit of a mess as we are renovating the yard.. We have heat pumps/ air conditioning in the main living area and in the hallway. All bedrooms have a flyscreen on the windows. The kitchen and all main living areas are shared as are the bathroom and laundry, with some of the other housemates and despite the amount of people we all work well around one another. Rent will include Internet, Netflix and Stan, water and electricity. All you need to buy is your groceries. There is not a bed in the room at present but we will get one if needed. We also have a 24 ft boat we like to take people out in We are not too far from Howrah Beach. The bus service is usually fairly good and it takes approximately 25- 30 minutes to get to the City (Hobart Center) and Shoreline Shopping Centre is about a five to ten-minute bus ride or a 20-minute walk. We are happy to have people with pets aside from dogs as we have more than enough dogs ;) Must pass a police check
