The rent that I ask is inclusive of (fair use) of all utilities for longer term stay. For shorter term stays specifically over holiday periods rate is available upon request. I am in 4017 Sandgate/Deagon border....our area has excellent infrastructure with easy access to the M1 North and South. I have a fully renovated post-war cottage on the Sandgate/Deagon border with a detached studio freestanding from the house and with it's own entrance and deck; 200 mtrs walk to train (Shorncliffe line); 12 mins walk to waterfront, kitesurfing etc. cafe's, boutique bars, markets, parks and local theatre (Town Hall) etc.. 30 min train into CBD with additional trains running during peak hours); 12 - 15 mins drive to Chermside; quick and easy access to the M1 North and South and approximately 15 mins drive to airport (train runs to airport however one changeover at Eagle Junction is necessary) and about similar to Nudgee, 20 mins to 'the other side' over the bridge, Redcliffe. 12 mins walk to Sandgate transport interchange, with trains and buses access. Drive into the CBD much depends upon traffic flow and the time that you leave home. 'Normal' flow would see you in the CBD in 25 mins. I am happy for tenants to use the full kitchen in the house if that is what you would like/require. Also happy to share a cuppa/tv/chat if that is what might suit your needs. I have 2 small terrier mix rescue pups who pretty much easily warm to people. They are indoor/outdoor pets in my house and are part of the family....they don't have unfettered access to the studio tho :-). I am not insistent on a length of stay commitment however I would appreciate 2 weeks notice to vacate if circumstances permit. I'm renting two rooms with ensuites' in a huge house with 4 lounge/tv rooms and large screened decks. The house is massive (2 Story split level) and the rooms for rent are on one level with separate kitchen and adults entertainment/tv/screened room/deck. One room is already rented. Share of bills includes unlimited 100mbps NBN internet, netflix, stan, pool and yard maintenance, electricity etc. Bills are $50/wk per adult and $30/wk for school aged kids. There is a corner store 1 block away and bakery 3 blocks away. Bus to Sandgate and train station 1 block away. 3 Stories (2 story split), 13 Meter solar heated pool (September to March), 4 large lounge/TV rooms and enclosed decks all around. Second kitchen for flatmates (shared oven) and home gym. Shared access to large washing machine and dryer. You're welcome to dry clothes on the line but most people end up using the dryer and are more than welcome to. Both rooms have their own fans and ensuite with toilet and shower. Kids have 3 rumpus/play/xbox entertainment areas for themselves and friends. If you/kids play xbox/playstation there are multiple spare tv's set up with internet ready to plug and play downstairs in the room which my oldest (13yrs) has his xbox/computer.
