Our home is in a quiet, suburban street. We back onto a golf course. There is a great track around the golf course and adjoining sports ovals for strolling or jogging. There is plenty of birdlife. At this stage we have three ladies living on the property. Two are 50s+ including the householder and a younger lady in her early 30s. The house has been recently renovated with a large modern kitchen and dining room. A spacious bathroom and separate toilet has been created. This would be shared with one other tenant. There are two lounge areas, one at each end of the house. One is set aside for chatting and reading, and the other has a TV and is fun for watching movies and shows. There is a large deck (8m x 4m) for el fresco dining, drinks and sometimes dancing! The garden is the next project, but it already allows plenty of space for walking, sitting and contemplation. Potting in the garden is encouraged! The house is professionally cleaned each fortnight, and a gardener is employed to do the hard stuff. All housemates are expected to keep their own rooms clean, and to generally help maintain a warm, tidy and welcoming environment. The house is accessible for people with mobility needs including ramps to the front and rear doors, and suitable bathroom spaces. Off street parking is available. We are only a few minutes from a bus stop which can take you to the local train station. Shops including banks, supermarkets and cafes are in walking distance. Each housemate is provided space in communal refrigerators and pantries for their own food. We often cook and eat together. The house is designed for friendly, communal living, but there are plenty of places to go for privacy beyond your own room.
