Medium unfurnished room for rent in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, with a small study apartment located off Douglas Ave. The room has a walk-in wardrobe and is all carpeted. The building is in a gated community so it’s also super secure. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop on Canning Hwy which takes you straight to either the city or Canning Bridge train station and a 5 minute drive to Curtin Uni. Rent is $180 a week and includes internet, water and a secure car space inside the gated area - electricity is excluded and will be split between us :) The complex also includes a shared pool and bbq area too! I don’t smoke myself but personally don’t mind if you do, just ensure all the doors are closed etc when on the balcony as the apartment is carpeted and tends to absorb those odours right up (issues with previous tenants when I originally moved in). Lease is up in March so ideally would be looking for someone to stay until at least then My current roommate is moving out so will take a bit of the furniture he owns, but I have a bunch of stuff coming down from a house in Karratha in a couple of weeks if you don’t mind a semi naked house until then. On that note, the room you would be moving into has currently got bags and boxes everywhere, which is why I haven’t included a photo of it, but happy to show you around if you come for a viewing! Our 2 story townhouse is in the perfect location! nestled away on a quiet little street, we're only 10 minutes from the city, 5 minutes from the south Perth foreshore, the Windsor, grocery stores, cafes and only a 2 minute walk to public transport. The townhouse itself is located at the top of the hill overlooking the river and catching possibly the best sunsets you will see in Perth! it's very easily maintained with the living room and kitchen located downstairs whilst the bedrooms/bathroom are upstairs. There is a parking spot available in the garage but is only really suitable to a smaller car. The house has A/C, Internet (included in the rent), we get a power bill every 2 months which is divided up by the 3 of us. The bedroom is a very decent sized room with built in robes and a set of drawers/mirror if you would like to keep that in there. We have easy access to the city, Albany hwy, Curtin uni and the freeway. The room has a small built-in robe and ducted air-conditioning. The house is light, bright and open plan downstairs, with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. There is a separate WC downstairs. Preferably you would have your own bedroom furnishings, however the bedroom could be furnished with a queen sized bed frame and desk, which we are otherwise selling. You will be sharing the rather large bathroom with a tidy girl. It has a both a shower and bath! The rest of the house is fully furnished and has a laundry, gas cooking, lockable outdoor storage room, and a covered patio area in the back yard that's perfect for a BBQ. On-street parking is available if you have a car, as we are currently occupying the garage. Sorry to say no pets are allowed as per the strata regulations. :( However, our lovely neighbour has a cute puppy that loves pats, and a couple of chilled cats may be spotted in complex from time to time (+/- pats).
